Soaring on Eagle's Wings

Red-tailed Hawk

I've seen a red-tailed hawk twice in the last week or so, one even on the left shoulder of the road as I drove by!  It didn't fly away and I got to see it so close that I could see the wind ruffling it's feathers.  What  a thrill!  I was rejoicing and praying for him/her all the way home. Then I saw one yesterday perched in a large tree right over the road I was driving down. In December, yet!  It's cold here in Eastern Ontario, the thermometer has been between -10 and -20 centigrade for almost a week.

I couldn't believe how big their eyes were!  These birds can see so well and their beaks are large and strong.

I really believe that the Lord held him there for me because I enjoy them so much. Some people get prophetic encouragement from seeing different types of numbers, I get encouragement from seeing these big birds.  I especially love to see how they soar and ride the air currents.  It's a big reminder to me of how we are supposed to act during the storms of life.

You don't see an eagle hiding from a strong wind or a storm. Nope, they are in their element riding and coasting on the air currents, soaring higher and higher. This is how Christians are supposed to be. Whenever the winds of adversity or affliction are blowing, they only cause us to ride higher and higher in praise and worship to our King.

On that note, I'm going to spend some time just loving on the Lord; asking him what he'd like me to sing to him or play for him and then I will pause and listen to what he would like to tell me.   Truly, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be faint." (Is. 40:31)

Let me bless you: "May you always be able to soar on the winds of the spirit regardless of what's happening around you.  I bless you with the supernatural ability to bless the Father's heart today and the determination to make a difference for Him.  May you hear His heart beat today and may you be a blessing wherever you go today, in Jesus' name I ask. Amen!"

Too Busy

The other night as I was going to bed I got from Holy Spirit the song I wrote a long time ago,

"Where have they gone--my warriors and singers?
Will no one remain and pray to me?
  For I am the Almighty
 and Yes, I'm coming again.

Please would you stand in the gap for the people?
Build up a hedge with your worship and prayer.
 Yes I am the Almighty
 and yes,  I'm coming again."

Oops, too much busyness this time of year.  It's time to trim back so that I do not miss out on my time for seeking God.  (I am talking to myself as much to anyone else.)

We are so close to a huge awakening. Let's don't give up or slack off.  That can be our Christmas present to the Lord.  He is hungry for the rewards of his suffering.  He desires the nations and he is waiting for us to make all his enemies his footstool. (______  , Ps. 2:8, Heb. 10:13)

 Merry Christmas!

Healing Testimonies

I love it.  These are two fellows from our church.  www.wcca.ca   I remember when Glen came to our church the first time.  God had me prophesy over him as he was leaving.

Laurin was a fellow Glenn brought in for prayer because he needed healing.  We prayed for him a couple of times and Laurin got touched so mightily that he's been going out and doing the stuff.

To God be all the Glory!

Enjoy!  This is available to all.  There are so many testimonies of regular people being changed and going out and doing the stuff (bringing the Kingdom of God wherever they go).

I speak boldness over you and me!  That we don't waste the opportunities.  That we ask the Lord to use us every day!  We are bold because we are righteous!  We've not been given a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind! Greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world. (Prov. 28:1, 2Tim. 1:7, 1John 4:4)

Bless you!

Roses For Us

Last week I had a brief vision during the worship time at church.  Holy Spirit asked me what I saw and I immediately saw Jesus and he had some long stemmed roses in his arms.  I just looked at him for a bit and then he gave me one.

The smell of the rose enveloped me and I felt such love and hope at the same time.  It suddenly dawned on me that he "is" the Rose of Sharron" and I felt that he was giving of himself to me.

What a moment!  The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is giving himself to us as we worship him.  He had such joy on his face when he gave me the rose.   He wants this for us.  He really wants to give us himself.

The Bible says, "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect  the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (2Cor. 3:18)

As we behold him we become like him.   As we praise and worship and then stand in his presence he will show us stuff-- answers to questions, visions to fill us with hope, whatever we need.

It's amazing.  I want to be like him so much.  I can't save anybody, but Holy Spirit in me can.  I can't help anyone but Holy Spirit can help the whole world.

That's when I will be satisfied.  When I see Him in me.... just like the psalmist said, "And I--in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness." (Psalm 17:15)

If you have a longing to be like him then pray with me; "Lord we want to be like you. We want to be your living sacrifices today.  We invite you to speak through us, to praise and worship through us, to love others through us and to make our lives a blessing everywhere we go.  In Jesus' name we ask, Amen!"

Have a great day with Him!

Turning Thorns Into Trophies

"To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. "(2Cor. 12:7)

I love it.  We serve such a great God that every thorn the enemy sends against us we can turn into a trophy for our Lord Jesus. Let me show you how.

As we start praying for others let's say for healing we will get some back lash... it's inevitable. A pesky thorn has attacked us.  This provides us with the opportunity to get stronger in the promises of healing and protection... or stay sick and endure the torment.

God allows in his wisdom what he could easily prevent by his power.  His grace will come and help us.  His power is made perfect in our weakness. (ref. 2Cor. 12:9) He will show us how to fight and remind us of promises to speak out loud.  Some good healing confessions are here...

http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2011/10/confessions-for-hospital-patient.html

He might also tell you to take communion and/or get a friend to agree with you for healing.  Often when I can't get the breakthrough on my own, getting a fellow believer to agree with me will assure the victory.  Don't forget the power of getting your spouse to agree with you!  Even if all they say is "Amen," that's agreement enough. God honors covenant and will use it to bust the enemies attack.

Sometimes, when the thorn is pesky enough and I have done all that I know to do, I go on the offensive and start praying for everyone I know that might be experiencing any type of physical symptom.  I have got a thorn temporarily, but I am going to be a costly target.  When I start praying in tongues for lots of people it doesn't take long and all the symptoms leave.

Therefore, I encourage you... be an expensive target.   Turn that little thorn into a huge trophy for the Lord.   Every single word of knowledge that I have learned was once a thorn in my flesh. PTL!  Here's an article I wrote about them and the list keeps growing. I love it!  http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2010/10/quick-check-list-for-words-of-knowledge.html

One other note... you might notice that when you start to pray for people or come into the vicinity of people that the symptom starts up again.  Sometimes I have found that this can be triggered by another spirit that is attached to the person you are praying for. (We all have angelic and demonic assignments)  So, because you are spiritually sensitive in the area you have been fighting, that's the fastest way Holy Spirit can alert you to pray.

Another way of looking at it is that the devil is the worst street fighter ever.  He always goes for your weak spot.  Since you are weak, as in 'under attack' in that area, he will try to hit you there.

Therefore, do not be discouraged. You are achieving great victories.   The better you get at putting on your armor every day and the more you give your victories away, the stronger you will become in the spirit realm. (ref. Eph. 6:10-18, 1John. 5:4, Matt. 10:8)  So use wisdom and let Holy Spirit guide you.  When you are struggling to like a person, is not the time to do major warfare on their behalf.  You might want to fill up your love tank first. (ref. Rom. 5:5)

If you have any questions, let me know. There's an area for comments at the end of the post.

I bless you today with the ability to see your thorn as an opportunity to get a trophy for the Lord Jesus.  May you be endued with his power and grace and may you have the tenacity and perseverance to turn every trial into a great testimony, in Jesus' name. Amen!

Big hugs,

Psalm 149 Updated

Hi there.   I got a warning last week about binding and loosing spirits and how we should be very careful about what we bind and loose.  I agree.  We need Holy Spirit's guidance. However, when you have gone after the spirit and it just keeps coming back... we might want to look deeper and make sure that there are not legal rights that the spirit has, that allow it to come back to harass, torment or afflict you.

You want to:
1. Ask the Lord to forgive you and your family members for any ungodly thoughts, words and actions.

2. Forgive them and yourself. "Lord I forgive myself and all my family members and I know you do too."

3. "Father, in Jesus' name I break all curses and the effects of all curses that have come upon my family and myself."

4. "I ask Holy Spirit to fill us radically and to bless them and myself physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and relationally."

5. "I command every evil spirit that has been harassing my family to be bound, gagged and muzzled now in Jesus' name.  I ask the Lord to send angels to take these evil spirits to dry places to be dealt with by Jesus."

So you've done all this and the attack abates for a bit then starts up again.  Don't lose heart!
Plan B is... we know that if you want to stop a war you take out the opposing general.  Without a commander the soldiers will give up quickly.  So there is a newer stream of Christian thought that teaches about binding the wicked kings to win the fight.

I guess my caution is to make sure that the repentance and forgiveness has been done first before you start binding up wicked ruling spirits.

Here's an interesting video by James Goll on the subject of binding wicked kings with a good preface.

If you can determine to praise the Lord at all times then you will be just fine.
Here is a link to a song I wrote about Psalm 149.  You will like it, and it will help you memorize this psalm.
http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2010/12/psalm-149.html

This teaching is not complete by far.  As I get more revelation and teaching that works in the trenches, I will post and apprise you.  I want you walking in great, great victory.  I want the witches and warlocks to get really nervous when you walk into a Walmart or grocery store.  After all, we are here to enforce his victory and 'make all his enemies his footstool' (ref. Heb. 10:13)  Those precious people probably haven't seen a strong Christian... yet!

I declare you are blessed and highly favored by  the greatest king of all, Jesus!

Column of Glory

In the first 10 minutes of this you tube video of David Hogan preaching he talks about a column of glory that fell around an area of land.

Amazing!  Who says there isn't more out there to go after?  Obviously, there is so much more of God than we know.

I hope you take the time to watch it.   I started to tear up when he talked about it.  I love how God wrecks our preconceived ideas.

Bless you!

Winter Colds & Sickness

We don't have to be sick every winter.  Really,  we don't.   Sometimes we curse ourselves when we speak words like, "I always get sick in the winter." or "I get every cold that comes around."

Sometimes it is words that family or friends have spoken over us that have opened the door for these spirits of sickness to attack us every winter.  This often happens when we are children and don't know not to receive it and the words become a perpetual curse.

So to start, I would break the curse in Jesus' name then start renewing your mind. God has given us authority to bind and loose things. We need to take this privilege seriously.  Whatever we bind on Earth is bound in Heaven and whatever we loose on Earth is loosed in Heaven. (ref. Matt. 16:19)

Thank You Lord that I prosper and I'm in health as my soul prospers. You want me whole and healthy in all seasons. (ref. 3John 2)
Thank You Lord that I am strong in you and my immune system fights off every virus. (ref. Eph. 6:10)
Thank You Lord that I am protected from secondary infections in Jesus name.
Thank you Lord for protecting me from the plague (pneumonia) that tries to attack me. (Psalm 91)

Here's a blog post that's full of good confessions to use to renew your mind.
http://www.greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2011/10/confessions-for-hospital-patient.html

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. (ref. Rom. 10:17)  Fear comes by hearing and hearing the word of the devil.  You choose what you listen to and receive in your heart.

Did you know that you believe what you say more than you believe what anybody else says?   Yes it's true.  Therefore you and I need to  line up our words with Heaven and give the angels something to work with.  They hearken to the voice of his word through us.  (ref. Psalm 103:20)

Have fun!
I bless you in Jesus' name!
