A few years ago a Prophetic person told me that I was supposed to start throwing 'bombs' out in the morning. That really got me wondering what he meant. I didn't get a chance to ask him about it so I put it on the back burner for a while.
Well, I finally figured it out. As Christians we are supposed to be "as shrewd as snakes and as harmless as doves" so obviously hitting the enemy, or the people he's working through was not the right solution. (ref. Mat. 10:16)
Too bad. At times I would love to give some people a piece of my mind. However, what the Lord was showing me is that the best way to throw out a 'bomb' is to declare something like, "Thank You Lord that my family is protected from freak accidents today."
Really what we're doing is putting up walls of protection. We are deciding how our day is going to go with the words we speak. We are putting up fences in the spirit realm so that the enemy cannot trespass.
What I have been doing is using Psalm 91 as my foundation. It's easy to memorize and if I've forgotten all my notes at home I can still decree this on my way to work. Here is what I have come up with so far. Remember to speak them out loud because the devil can't hear your thoughts.
Thank You Lord that we choose today to abide with you and remain conscious of your presence today.
Thank you Lord Jesus that we rest in your presence today.
Thank You Lord Jesus that we determine to praise You today.
Thank you Lord that You are our refuge and fortress today.
Thank You Lord for teaching us and guiding us today. Thank You for going ahead of us and preparing the way for us today. Thank you Lord that we live to bring you glory today. Teach us how to love one another and honor one another more.
Thank You Lord for giving us teachable hearts that we might learn more about your faithfulness.
Thank You Lord that You save us from anything coming against us physically, spiritually, mentally or financially today.
Thank You Lord that You protect us from all bad biologicals and any form of attack against us.
Thank You Lord for protecting us from things we can't see.
Thank You Lord for confounding (mixing up, confusing) all the plans of the enemy today.
Thank You Lord Jesus that no harm befalls my family and I.
Thank You Lord that no calamity comes near our home or business.
Thank You Lord Jesus for all the angels that hearken to the voice of your word through us, that are protecting us all day long. Hallelujah! Let them get their testimonies Lord.
Thank You Lord that we tread upon the lion and the cobra. That in Your name we are victorious over all evil.
Thank You Lord that you are causing all things to work together for our good. We are more than conquerors through your love working in us.
Thank You Lord that because we love You, You will honor us and deliver us and You will be especially close to us in times of trouble.
Thank You Lord that you honor us with long life and You will show us more about our 'great salvation' and what it means in our lives.
Thank You Lord Jesus for renewing our youth today.
Amen!
Hope you liked your decrees. I can feel God's presence around me just speaking them out. He's so good to us! Have a great day with Him! Throw a few 'bombs' for me while you are at it!
