So WHY worry about Getting Healed up?

Why would you worry about getting your soul healed? You have moved past the painful situations and time has moved on and you think well, I have forgiven all those involved and blessed them so what's the big deal?

You are the big deal.  God wants you to heal you so that you can reflect him more perfectly.  I have noticed that I might think I am healed, but then when somebody brings it up.... I get hurt again. Almost like picking a scab on a healing scrape.  Hurting people hurt others and until you get healed up and whole in your soul,  you will hurt others when those painful type of circumstances come up again in your life.

Another reason you want to get healed in your soul is because the healing you have received you can give away to others.  It might take you a while to work through an area of your life but then you will be able to give that healing away to others and they will get healed of the same thing instantly.

I actually wondered if I had spoken it out too loud the first couple of times the Lord told me to release waves of soul healing during the worship part of the service, only to have my Pastor pick up the mic and announce that soul wounds were being healed at that moment.

I needed a bit more convincing because I go to an awesome church where there are so many anointed people there.  I thought maybe it was somebody else praying for this certain kind of healing.  Then I 'happened' to listen to a youtube video or cd from Bob Jones and he mentioned how it took him 7 years to work through a 'bitterness of gall' that had come through painful experiences. (It doesn't normally take that long to get healed)  Then the Lord told him to release healing for bitterness in a meeting he was speaking at and he saw people get healed instantly what took him 7 years to work through.

He said that there was an authority imparted to him in the spirit realm because he had kept asking the Lord to heal him. Because of that authority he was able to take authority over those spirits attacking others and get them free instantly!  That's worth it!

You might ask, "So when are you healed?"   The Lord will show you as you ask him.  Sometimes you know because when similar situations come up you have no negative or protective reactions.  You can pray loving prayers for all those involved.  Sometimes the Lord will tell you or show you through a vision or even tell you, "Command healing to flow for others."

In regular ministry, unless the Lord specifically commands, you cannot set someone free from something that you have given into yourself. However, if you are fighting a habit or healing a soul wound, as long as you have not given up, you will be able to help others.  You will need to decree protective prayers over yourself to prevent retaliation, but that is always a good idea when you are ministering to to others.

Healing soul wounds is doable.  Holy Spirit will never lead you where he isn't able to keep you.  His name is so powerful.  Even if you are not a singer you can worship by saying his name and thinking about all that he's done for you.   Tell him how much you appreciate the people he's put in your life.  Thank Him for your grinding stones that are helping you to be transformed more quickly into the image of Jesus.  Decree that you are being healed (transformed) in his presence as you behold him during worship (2Cor. 3:18). Decree that his love is healing the wounds of your soul. (Is. 53:3-5) Use your faith and your mouth to move that mountain into the sea (Mark 11:23)

This is worth it!  There's something so special when people get set free.  Holy Spirit get's so happy!  We are the apple of his eye. He gives so much joy as we are obedient to him to set the captives free.

Let me bless you now.  "Lord I ask that You would help my brother or sister to get to know you more.  May we always have a love for your word and may we always love to hear your precious voice Holy Spirit.  Help us to trust you more and more every day and to want to bless your heart more and more every day.  You are all that really matters Lord.  May we all know this in a deeper way today. May we trust you with the deepest wounds of our hearts and would you please lead us all to wholeness and healing so that we don't hurt others.  In Jesus' name we ask. Amen!"

Bless you more!
Big hugs,
