Pulling Heaven Down, Part 3 "By Faith"

This is part three of a series I am writing so that everyone will learn how to pull Heaven down.  The more people we get doing this at church, the more miracles we will experience.

I was kind of lost about what to share next and the Lord told me to talk about faith.   He is right of course.

The currency of Heaven is faith.  We walk by our faith and our faith is evidenced by the words we speak. Would you agree with that?   Okay, if we are walking by faith then we can't always rely on our feelings to give a true indication of what is happening in the spirit realm-- at first.   As a woman, I have had to tell my emotions, from time to time to settle down and line up with the word of God.  Hormones can do that to you.  Stress can also do that to you.

One of the biggest keys I can give you is to walk by the truth of God's word. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He does not change.  He has exalted His word above His name.  God cannot lie. (Heb. 13:8, Mal. 3:6, Psalm 138:2, Tit. 1:2)

Are you with me?  Okay.... when the word says that I am seated with Him in Heavenly places, then I am, whether or not I am experiencing that reality right now. (Eph. 2:6)  It is available to me if I learn how to tap into it.

We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Heavenly places. (Eph 1:3) God has already prepared a plan for our lives. (Eph 2:10) That means that the future has been written, to some extent and that I can tap into the future now.  There is no time in Heaven the way we know it down here. I heard a great Bible teacher explain it like this:

Heaven is the center of the wheel and we are on the outside of the wheel and all of time is available to God.  That is how the "Cross" could transcend time. That is how we appropriate healing, salvation, provision and everything of the Kingdom.

Therefore, as we praise and worship the Lord, we can have confidence that we are those spiritual gates that Psalm 24 is talking about. If we are having a hard time focusing then we know to take those thoughts captive by speaking out loud what we want loosed on the earth.  If we still don't find it easy to enter into worship then we pray for a bit in strong tongues till we sense a release from the Lord. It's kind of like cleaning out the pipe. LOL.

As we try to praise and worship the Lord, Holy Spirit will show us if there is anything blocking us from entering his Holy presence, and we should repent and pray for cleansing as He leads.   Then the Heavens will be opened up to us and we will start to feel His presence as He sends angels to help us worship.

At this time, ask the Lord if He wants you to worship or to see something.  If He wants you to see something, close your eyes and see in your imagination what He wants to show You.   This is perfectly acceptable because your whole mind has been cleansed by the blood and the washing of the Word.

You might see black and then a few sparks of light.  That's great!  The sparks are glory light coming down.  Sometimes you might see a picture of a Bible story or see a figure outlined by light.  Ask Holy Spirit questions and believe you receive.  He wants this for you so much. We walk by faith and faith receives.

Do not keep begging God. You know how wearying that can be when your kids do that to you.  Just trust and believe that He loves you and that He wants this for you.

If initially you don't get anything, just start thanking Him.  Many of the greatest Heavenly manifestations I have experienced started with me not feeling anything, so I just started thanking the Lord for all that He had done for me already.   A grateful heart will break through any resistance that might be hanging around-- always!

On that note I want to pray for you.   Lord, help and bless the person reading this to have more Heavenly encounters with You.   Show them all the stuff You have been showing me.  Let them get even more than what I have received.  I declare that their eyes, ears and hearts are prepared to receive and that their imaginations are Your drawing board Holy Spirit.  In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

I believe you are receiving right now.  Amen!

Pulling Heaven Down, Part 2 "Asking for the Fear of the Lord"

This is part two of a series about how to pull down Heaven. I wasn't thinking of writing this but then my Pastor complimented me and said how he appreciated my being at the meetings, because I knew how to pull Heaven down.  I started thinking about what I do and realized that I have something to share, that can help others.  My goal is to fast track you so that signs, wonders and miracles will follow you and that you will pull Heaven down wherever you go.

On that note let's start with the second key God gave me.

I was having a hard time disciplining my flesh, at the time and I was crying out for Holy Spirit to help me.  He told me to ask for the Fear of the Lord.

"What?" I replied.   That certainly wasn't what I wanted to hear. I guess I was looking for a magic pill or something that I could pop and all my flesh would just die-- no fuss, no muss.

I started to look up scriptures about the "fear of the Lord" and discovered that it is clean and pure, enduring forever. (Psalm 19:9)

Now let the fear of the LORD be upon you. Judge carefully, for with the LORD our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery." (2Chron. 19:7 italics and bold mine)   Okay, that means I am to ask for the fear of the Lord to be upon me.   That was something I had never heard before.

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. (Psalm 34:11)   That really blessed my heart.   I started to ask Holy Spirit to teach me about the fear of the Lord.

It's a reverential fear of God that we are talking about.  When You have such respect for someone that you hover over every word they speak, and you quickly try to put their advice into practice.  When you are totally convinced that they know the best way for you and that you are foolish to not listen to their advice.

I have learned to ask for the fear of the Lord all the time. My opinion doesn't count for squat.  Holy Spirit is the one that knows what it best all the time. No ifs or buts.

I have been renewing my mind so that I can trust Him more too.  You might know what Holy Spirit wants, but if you don't trust Him, you won't obey Him.  I have taken some time to convince myself that He knows what is best for me.   I have decided that I want to be transformed into His image at any cost.

Here are some more scripture verses about the fear of God and the fear of the Lord.

"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. "(2 Cor. 7:1 italics mine)

"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. " (Eph. 5:21, italics mine)

"That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it [is] mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever." (Jos. 4:24 italics mine)

"But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies." (2Kings, 17:39)

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:" (1Pet. 3:15)

"The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death." (Prov. 14:27)

"The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor." (Prov. 15:33)

There is a lot in the Bible about the fear of the Lord.  Without it we will never discipline our flesh.  I ask for it all the time so that I walk in reverence for Him not people.   "The fear of man is a snare and a trap." (Prov. 29:25)

The bible says that without holiness no one will see the Lord.   Holy Spirit told me that  with greater and greater holiness, more and more people will see the Lord through my life.     Claim it for yourself.

Finally,  the Lord gave me this promise, "See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed? I will not yield my glory to another" (Is. 48:10-11)  If we want His glory to flow through our lives we need to walk in holiness.  Without the fear of the Lord we will never discipline our flesh and we won't become holy.

Let's put it another way:

The Fear of God leads to...
Disciplining my flesh which leads to....
Holiness which leads to...
More Glory manifesting through my life!

His Glory is worth any price.  The Joy that Holy Spirit shares when you have helped Him is beyond anything this world has to offer.  It is better than any drug I ever tried before I got saved.  He is the Most HIGH!

Let me bless you now.   Lord help us to crave the Fear of the Lord.  Teach us how valuable it is to our walk of holiness.  Help us to trust You more everyday and to obey Holy Spirit's promptings. Amen!

Bless you!

Pulling Heaven Down, Part 1 "Be Hungry"

This is the beginning of a series of posts about Pulling Heaven Down or how to get Heaven or Glory to manifest around you.  I want to share all the keys I have learned over the years so that you can get to where I am at in a fraction of the time.  This is not meant to be an exhaustive list,  just the things I have tried that work.

We all have the potential to pull on Heaven if we are children of the Most High God. We have guaranteed access because of the blood of Jesus.  He always hears our hearts cry so that's the first key I want to share.  Be hungry.  I ask the Lord to let me be hungry for Him forever.  I tell Him with all my heart that He is everything to me (and I am crying already.)  I tell him that I am His living sacrifice. I tell Him that today I choose to die to all my plans, dreams, thoughts and I ask Him for His dreams, plans and thoughts about everything.  I determine to walk with Him in constant communication.  Seriously, I talk to the Lord all day long.  He's my best friend and He has lots to say.  He talks to me about the people around me, situations, animals, things... everything!

When Holy Spirit gets quiet or I don't feel His presence around me, I stop and start asking Him questions.  "Where did I grieve Your heart?"  "What did I say that hurt You and caused you to pull away?"  He is very tender hearted and He will pull away from me if I grieve Him.

I won't move on until He is back.  I will go apologize to anyone for anything, if it has hurt His heart. I don't care how foolish I look.  I have to have Him.  I have gone and apologized to those who had it in for me and I gave them more ammunition against me.  I didn't care!  Holy Spirit is the most important thing in my life.

I don't want to live without Him.  I tell him that if He ever leaves me, then I am going to find Him, whatever the cost.  I will be the most miserable person in the whole world till I find Him. Thankfully He has promised to never leave us or forsake us, but there is a big difference from knowing someone as an acquaintance or as a lover.

So that's my first key. Be hungry.  When I know that I am going to church, I talk to Holy Spirit about the church, the meeting, the people and I ask Him what He wants to do and how I can help Him.  Then I follow His instructions and love on Him and He always shows up.  I guarentee you if you will follow what I have done, you will feel Holy Spirit start to hover around you more.

One last note.  Did you know that there have been times when I wanted to go to bed because it was late and Holy Spirit asked me to stay up longer because He was lonely?  He gets lonely! I was shocked when it happened the first time.  He just wanted me to love on Him some more.   So I challenge you, don't use Holy Spirit just to get 'your' prayers answered.  He is the best friend you can ever know... really.

Some books that influenced me when I was a new Christian were "Good Morning Holy Spirit" by Benny Hinn and God Calling by Two Listeners.  The link for God calling is as follows...
http://www.twolisteners.org/God%20Calling%20TOC.htm

Let me pray for you now.  Lord I ask that You would bless the person reading this.  Take them deeper into the things that touch Your heart, Holy Spirit.  Open their eyes to see beautiful things in Your word and change them from glory to glory as they behold You. In Jesus' name I ask, Amen!

Change Is Good For Us

Hi there.   I just happened to notice this verse. "God will hear, and afflict them, Even He who abides from of old. Selah because they do not change, Therefore they do not fear God." (Psalm 55:19)

I started thinking about that and how much I have changed over the years.   Change can be good for us, if it's a change towards spiritual growth.

Another version talks about a wicked man and how there are no changes in him because he doesn't fear God.

I guess that means that if we fear God we will be willing to change, right?  I agree.  Therefore, Lord show us how to change.  Show us what area you would like us to renew our minds in and lead us step by step into renewing our minds. (Rom. 12:1-2)

I want to walk in the "anointing I have already attained." (Phil 3:16).   I am tired of getting victory in one area of my life, then starting to work on another area of my life and losing the victories I had previously.

Has that ever happened to you?

There was a time when you couldn't pay me to over eat.  I had just come out of two major fasts and was doing fine.  Then the Lord had me start working on gentleness and revival scriptures and I noticed within a month or two that I was starting to over eat on occasion.  What happened?  I let the victory slip.

I asked Holy Spirit how to maintain the anointing and He said to confess one or two scriptures a day that help me in that area of my life, to maintain the anointing and to guard my flesh in that area of my life.

The same thing can happen to you after a siesta or holiday.  You might have finished a season where you were giving out many, many words of knowledge or praying for the sick every day.  Then you take a holiday and after the holiday you notice that you are letting ministry opportunities slip by you.

Well I have good news for you.  The anointing you have received abides in you and if you will do the same things that you did initially to walk in that type of anointing, it will come back to you... just faster this time. (1John 2:27)

A good way to stir up the anointing is to pray in tongues. Another way is to recount all the miracles and healings you have experienced or witnessed before.  Remember, the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophesy. (Rev. 19:10)  As you remember what happened before and start to give thanks, the same faith  and anointing is present again, to do the same kind of miracles.  There is no time or distance in the Spirit.  So if it has happened before, it can happen again.

On that note, I am going to try to make sure that I have a couple of self control confessions every day, a few boldness confessions, faith confessions, revival confessions every day to keep myself strong in all areas of my life.  Then I won't lose any ground.  I will always be growing and changing.

I Bless you in Jesus' name. May you have fun with the Lord today. May He encourage your heart and help you to laugh at yourself in a good way, knowing that He loves you right where you are.  Amen!
We serve an amazing God and you are blessed, in Jesus' name! Amen.

Big hugs,

Weight Loss Time. Yahoo!

I am so tired of yo-yo dieting that I joined Weight Watchers a few weeks ago.  I have been gaining and losing the same 40 lbs since I was 16 years old.

I really like the plan. It has changed a lot over the years and now it is much more realistic as a lifestyle.
I finally realized that I can't just lose the weight then go back to my bad eating habits.  This has to become a lifestyle if I don't want to continue yo-yo dieting.

Therefore, the last few weeks I have been poring over the plan and searching out healthier recipes to cook for my gang.

I have done a low carb diet.... and the carb headaches are horrible. I could only do it for a few months then had to take a break.  It wasn't realistic for the long term.

I have been on another strict diet plan and it was a good plan, just very expensive and restrictive.

I lost 40 pounds going on a series of juice fasts. I started with 1 day fast then worked my way up to a 40 day fast.  Ended up doing a couple of 21 day fasts and a 40 day fast.  I was weak a lot of the time because I have an active lifestyle.  Cooking meals for everybody was really tough because I was so hungry.  They say you are supposed to fast and pray.  I did do some praying, believe me!

I was looking for support to help me make healthier choices long term and the point plus plan looked appealing.   My Mom had us on the Weight Watcher's  program when I was 12 years old  and this new plan is SO much better.

The Bible says that a drunkard and a glutton (someone who over eats) tend to poverty (Prov. 23:21)  I certainly don't want anything to stop me from reaping all the harvests I have sown.

That is why I haven't been writing as much lately.  I am trying to get a handle on what to eat and how to make healthier  decisions. My motto is simple, "Every week I don't gain weight I consider myself a winner. "  I found some great web sites for Weight Watchers recipes and there's an on-line support group on Facebook that is really busy.  All these tools will help me reach my goals. PTL!

I bless you today.  Have a great day with HIM!

New Songs or Blog Articles or Both?

Well here is your chance to give me some feed back.  I just finished copywriting 40 more songs that I have written over the last couple of years.  If you like the songs I have previously posted, then I will make some more videos of these new songs to share with you.

I haven't decided what to do with them yet... I want to share them... it's just which vehicle should I use?  I only copywrited them so that if I want to do a proper recording later, in a studio that I won't have a fight trying to prove that they are mine.

Anyhow,  leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Have a great night with Holy Spirit.

Bless you!

Eileen Fisher: "You will Arrest the Enemy and Set the Captives Free"

Eileen Fisher: "You will Arrest the Enemy and Set the Captives Free"

This is bang on with what the Lord has been teaching me the last year.

He is crowning us, James 1:12 because we have persevered under trial and stood the tests. We are a crown of splendor in the Lord's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of our God. (Is. 62:3)

Greater is He, Holy Spirit in us than he that is in the world. (1John. 4:4) We know in our heads that God loves us, but it's a whole other revelation to realize that whatever comes to us in life has been filtered through His hands. Greater trust equals greater works for the Kingdom because you don't have to protect yourself. You can throw yourself 100% into whatever the Lord leads you to do, knowing that His power to protect and heal you is greater than anything that the devil could ever throw at you.

I bless you today! May we all know more about His love for us, how great and high and deep and long is His love, and may we dare to trust Him to look after us more. Amen!

Honor

This is not an easy post for me to write as I am still learning what it means to honor people. I don't have a problem honoring most people, but when they are mean to me,  I want to pull back and protect myself.

What I do know is that the fog that I wrote about in my last post cleared when I chose to honor my husband instead of stating the obvious.  I had the opportunity to say bluntly what he was like, but I chose to say what I appreciated about him instead.

Two minutes later as I was driving home and I got the song, "Here comes the bride, here comes the bride."

So I put two and two together and figured that, for me at least, it's not okay now to state the obvious. It doesn't matter what kind of a stinker he has been, I still have to walk in love. I heard myself telling a lady that when the going gets tough, to just imagine that her husband is Jesus, and how she would you treat him... then act accordingly.

Not the easiest thing to do that's for sure.  It's back to Phil. 4:8... think about (and speak about) whatever is pure, lovely, praiseworthy, noble and of good report.  I am also calling forth those things 'that be not as though they were'. (Rom 4:17)  God told me I could have a better marriage than I dreamed possible and I'm hanging onto his promise and speaking it out loud as a war declaration.

That doesn't mean you don't get help or don't speak the truth.  "I'm hurting, " is very real.  It just means be careful who you talk to. The whole world doesn't need to know about your 'stuff'.  What the Lord told me once is that, "If you wouldn't say it to Me in prayer, then don't say it, period."

It gives us an idea of how far the Lord wants us to take this supernatural love.  Every time we run out of love we can ask Holy Spirit for more because there is an unending supply. (Rom. 5:5, Psalm 136, 1John 4:8)

Since I have been given the opportunity to be on the ministry team at church I have had many more opportunities to pray for people.  I started asking the Lord, "How do I activate your power flowing through me to them?"  He said, "Just love on them."

I started experimenting during ministry times and when I am the support person I just put my hand on them and say quietly how much I love them and how I know that Holy Spirit loves them so much more. People have stopped me and asked me to move my hand to where they hurt because they can feel the heat of Holy Spirit flowing into them. That is very encouraging.

I hope I have helped you. I certainly don't have it all together.  I am going to keep working on this honor thing and not judging another man's servant.  With the Lord's help all things are possible. (1Cor. 1:26-29, Rom. 14:4, Mark 10:27)

Bless you as you go, in Jesus' name!
Big hugs,

Surrender

He's coming.... That's what I keep getting in my prayer time.

The last few weeks, I have sometimes felt like I have been walking through a fog, where I can only see my hand in front of me.  I am walking carefully ahead as I listen for His gentle voice.

There have been some ruts in my life that I have been trying to step out of.   Unfortunately, when you can't see around you, you don't know if the step you are taking will take you out of the rut, or deeper into it.  All I can do is ask Holy Spirit clarifying questions and obey His directions, one moment at a time, one step at a time.

I found the way through the fog.  Do you want to know what it is?
"Surrender."  All I have,  all I am and all I ever hope to be, I surrender--to Him.

It sounds like, "Lord, did I tell you today how much I love You?"
Or it can sound like, "Lord Jesus, did I tell you today that You are all I am living for?
It can also sound like this, "Lord I don't know what the right thing to do is. Please show me the way."

These are the things I have found myself saying to the Lord.  He is everything to me.  Nothing else matters, as long as I can keep hearing His sweet voice.

There are so many pursuits, hobbies and careers that can become powerful distractions to my time with Him.   I don't want anything to get in the way.  I don't want to find out that I missed the mark of the High call of God on my life when I get to Heaven.  I have come too far to quit now.

I have to go now.  I bless you now with passion to pursue Him, regardless of the price.  May you know His joy in your journey and may you hear His, "Well done!" every day of your life. Amen!
Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

Extreme Evangelism - Man on George Street

Great Testimony about Giving Out Tracts.

This is the testimony that inspired me to start giving out tracts again.  Enjoy!
(It's here or in the post above... your choice.)  The Man on George Street
What I did when I was too chicken to give one out was to leave a tract on a car's windshield.  Bathrooms are a perfect place to leave one too. Really any place where people will stop and pick it up is fair game.  It's amazing how after giving out a few you want to start talking to people.  Holy Spirit is a really good helper.   Don't worry about the fear you might experience at the beginning.  Keep declaring that you are bold because you are righteous and that you haven't been given a spirit of fear.  (Prov. 28:1, 2Tim. 1:7) Then command the devil to get under your feet where he belongs.
A church study found out that on average  it takes eight different witnesses before someone gets saved.  You never know how close they are to reaching out to the Lord.  People wear all sorts of masks and only Holy Spirit knows how ready they are.
Have a great day with Him!  I declare that you are bold because you are righteous.  Yes, you are bold and stouthearted and you don't faint along the way.  You are armed with God's love, strength and power. Hallelujah! Amen.
Big hugs,
