Crocheting detour

Well, I did it.  I finally opened up my crocheting storage bin after a years break to see if I could make these fancy 'Robin Hood' style slippers.  It felt like Christmas!  It was so nice to be able to create again.  Just have to find the balance in life so that I don't go overboard again and miss out on time with the Lord.

I listened to some great preaching while I was crocheting these pieces.  I keep a note pad handy so I can write down any insights I want to work on.

I thought I was ready for Christmas when I got a request from my daughter.  Turns out my grand daughter loves her new Barbie doll and could I please make her some clothes?  Ha ha,  I scoured the internet and took out a few books from the library and found a few patterns I thought I could do.   Finding the right kind of yarn was a bigger challenge. I found the dress while I was searching for suitable yarn.

Here's what I ended up making while  I listened to some great preaching and watched a boring movie with my hubby.

Two hours for a little hat and keyhole scarf!  The stitches are so tiny that it takes forever to crochet anything.   I even did an internet search looking for Barbie clothes to see if I could find a deal and save myself a few hours and found that there is not much out there.

Went searching the next day for yarn and couldn't find any so I called a friend and she had some leftover baby yarn. PTL!  I got it from her and finished this outfit.

It wasn't a waste of time because I was able to review many of my good confessions and build myself up in the word.  Jedediah Tham says that in many cases our times with God are unfruitful because we haven't spent enough time in the word of God.  No word in your diet equals very little to chew on or meditate on.

Looking back I can see where having a full diet of the promises of God has helped my meditation time.   Lots of Word gives Holy Spirit lots to work with, lol.  Also, lots of word in your diet gives you lots of discernment because, "the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:11-13)

Powerful eh?  So the key is to make sure that your activities don't leave you spiritually starving for meat.  You want lots of good word in your diet so that Holy Spirit can breathe on it and make it a living word for you in your devotional times or meditation times.

Let's activate this with our words: "Thank You Lord for giving us a hunger for your word.  Help us to always make time for your word and protect our meditation times from intrusion and spiritual attack.   We want to bear lots of fruit for You, Lord Jesus!  Amen!"

Bless you!

Breaking Strongholds in Marriages

This is from a precious friend who asked me to post it so that you would be encouraged.  He is so excited about the breakthroughs he is seeing in his marriage and his friend's marriages.  Be  encouraged!  God is on your side!

"Today I spent the whole morning breaking down strong holds in a married couple's house. When we thought that we where through Holy Spirit stayed and brought forth more and more revelation. After calling out peoples names living and dead we made a great step forward in discernment  by breaking off curses one at a time.

Again, just as I said, we thought we were through, but HOLY SPIRIT wasn't. We felt to call out each of the married couples to forgive each other. After they both forgave each other we could feel something lifting off.

I did this months ago with my wife and I also could feel something breaking off of me. Now here is the discernment that I was given at that time; when we get married we stand before the LORD and give a pledge to each other.  At this time our love is so great between us.

As life goes on we start to drift. We don't keep our love guard up and become less loving and all that goes with it.  Oh how the devil is so glad. We don't even know what is going on behind the scenes. After some time in our marriages we start thinking about our partner in negative ways. Now look closely, we are just thinking. So where do you think these negative thoughts come from?

It build and builds until there is great disagreement, bitterness and no forgiveness. Our marriage is now in great danger. Oh how the devil is so slippery. We think that we can do it on our own and that is such  a lie!

So what do they do now?  They split up and blame it always on the other partner because they cannot see through their own bitterness.

This would not have happened, if right from the start we received the proper education. It is about 'being tried' people, just like Adam and Eve. We are all in this trial forever and without proper education we will stay in this prison forever.

We have to fight back and take back what satan stole from us and the LORD says it is love. You see satan can't love and he doesn't want you to either. On the other hand, OUR FATHER is full of love, he heals with love and believe me his love is a total healing dictionary. A first aid kit that never runs out. The only time it runs out is when we run out of him.

Lets go back to our love problem. We have to forgive each other and go back to the alter where our vows were and take a stand against satan. My advice is to kiss your spouse regularly. Tell them you love them. Hold their hand and watch the world look at you. Speak well of them all the time.  Focus on their good points, not the things that irritate you.

The people around will all wonder and wish they had this. Choose to Stand on top of the world with your confession and faith in Jesus and Holy Spirit's comfort and counsel... instead of sinking into it to join the fallen."    (L.Jones)

Isn't that exciting?  I love to hear about people getting breakthroughs.  I don't want the devil to win in anybodies life!

Repeat this after me: I am a light set on a hill!  I am salt that is meant to preserve and flavor everything! I am a blessing everywhere I go!  I am 'love' walking and talking because his love is shed abroad in my heart as I ask him for it! I am his beloved and I can love those God puts in my path; especially my family, church family and coworkers!

Bless you!

I'm going to let you in on one of my secrets.  People are always asking me how I get so much done in my day.   My big secret is time with God and lists.  Writing things down when I'm spending time with the Lord helps me to take those thoughts captive so I can focus on the Lord and not what I need to remember to do the next day.

Also,  they help me to get lots done every day.  Here's the list I scribbled down this am.  There's not much to it, but does it ever help me to stay on track.  The best part is checking off the things you get done.  It gives a person a real sense of accomplishment.

Always make sure to have a reward at the end of the day, some 'me' time where you do something you want to do.  Then you won't get frustrated.  There will always be things to do after all.  The devil will make sure that you are busy your whole life, if he can.

Busy = Busy
            Under
            Satan's
            Yoke.

The big goal in life is to find out what God wants you to do and do that, not what everyone else would like to you to do for them.  (more on that in another post) Balance-- it's a huge concept and it ties in with learning to say 'no' politely.  I'm working on how to say no politely to different people.  The closer the people are to you  the harder it is at times to say no.  Also,  it's harder to say no to those in authority over you especially if you want to have favor with them.  Therefore it behooves us as leaders to check with God about what we are asking our families and/or volunteers to do for us.  We don't want to hinder God's plan in people's lives.

It's worth it though.  The more time we spend prioritizing our lives, the more productive we will be. Here are some scripture confessions to build yourself up in your most holy faith:

-Thank You Lord that the desires of the diligent will be fully satisfied. (Prov. 13:4)
-Thank you Lord that because we love your word nothing and no one can cause us to stumble or take offense. (Ps. 119:165)
-Thank You Lord that we are quick to hear, slow to speak and very slow to get angry or offended. (James 1:17)

Have a great day!
Big hugs and many Blessings,

Recover All

Hi.   There have been some buzz words floating around the body of Christ like "we recover all"   and that 'the thief must pay back 7 times.'  However, how to do this is often not elaborated in practical terms.

I am going to give a little example of how this worked out in my life,,,, including all the mistakes I made so you know it's possible for your life.  I have not got this all figured out yet.  I am definitely in the learning.

Over a year ago, our dog had two puppies and one was still born.  We think it got caught in the birth canal because it took our dog an extra half hour to deliver it.

I tried everything I knew to bring that puppy back to life and nothing worked.  I called it back, I rubbed it to stimulate it, I cleaned out it's mouth and nose with an aspirator, I kept it warm and it didn't come back.  I named him Lazarus and I kept speaking life over him.   3 days later and he still hadn't come back and I got mad and claimed 7 times the life and health of what the devil stole from me.  A dead pup is no blessing.

I kept him wrapped up in my of my scarves by my bed and every night I would pray over him and seek the Lord with him in my hands for what to do next.  Many times I would just cry and ask for help to understand more of God's promises.  Sometimes I would just sing the song the Lord put on my heart as an offering.  Only God knows how many hours I logged in my secret place, with just him, Lazarus and me.

Lazarus never decayed.  He never smelt bad even after 29 days of resting under my bed.  My hubby, finally said on the 31st day, "I think you better do something with him."

I asked the Lord and he said that it was time.   My heart got frosty as I buried him out in the orchard.  I could feel it rising up in me that this war wasn't over.  I was not going to let this stop me from growing in ability to raise the dead.

So.... times moves on and we get busy with other things and I must admit I had a hard time seeking the Lord because I felt disappointed in Him, myself and the whole situation.

We bred our dog again because the vet said that one pup didn't take too much out of her.  And we claimed small, healthy puppies that wouldn't get stuck.

Due date came and nothing.  Its always 60 days plus or minus 3 days.   64 days and still no puppies... in fact she wasn't really showing.  I know I had the day marked on the calendar and we were haying at the time so everybody new when she got bred.

Four and a half weeks later  I saw Brandy delivering a puppy in her crate.  Yikes!  We didn't even have the nursery set up!  Everybody pitched in and we got the nursery set up and her in it before the next pup arrived.   She delivered 7 small, healthy  puppies, much to our surprise.  We were not expecting it at all.  Dogs only go into heat once every 6 months so if they don't catch you have to wait another six months to breed them again.

I didn't clue in till the puppies were 7 weeks old what had happened.  Like I said, life moves on and you get busy with other things.  I was asking the Lord about her litter and thanking him for it cause she usually has two pups in a litter.  The most she ever had was 4 so this was a stunning surprise.

The Lord said, "I heard you all those nights in your room."  Well.... all the disappointment washed away as I played with those puppies.   I cried then and I am crying now as I type this.

He's faithful Saints.  Time spent with him is never wasted.

I wish I could tell you that my faith didn't waiver, but I'm not that strong.   This song about recovering all (that I wrote)  would come to my mind every so often and I would claim it.  Here's the link for it... http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.ca/2010/12/we-recover-all.html

Now all the puppies are in their new homes,  that we prayed in for them.   Some great friends helped me claim good homes for all of them.  Here's a link for a video of the puppies playing...  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug3M1k9I7Lk

So.... I guess I want to encourage you not to give up.  I know I am going after some other stuff that's been stolen from my husband and I.  His grace will lead me and His grace will  lead you too. Hallelujah!

Bless you!
Big hugs,

While our American friends celebrated Thanksgiving, Israelis, too, are thankful. While there has been a terrible psychological toll, and immense property damage, even secular Israelis agree that the protection over Israel during the recent attacks has been nothing short of miraculous. Thank you for your prayers!
The people of Israel suffered through 1,506 rockets fired from Hamas terrorists in Gaza from November 14th through Wednesday night, November 21st. Because of advanced weaponry suspected to be given to Hamas by Iran, some of those rockets even reached the heartland areas of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The Iron Dome - A Miracle that Saved Countless Lives ......... Divine Protection: 421 rockets were intercepted by the "Iron Dome" Israeli missile defense system, which saved countless Israeli lives and 152 rockets fired from Gaza crashed back into Gaza.

Hodu L Adonai Ki Le Olam Chasdo - Lets give thanks to the Lord for His mercy (towards israel) endures forever

2. Egypt Intercepts Rockets Possibly Bound for Gaza ICEJ News Nov 23rd
Security forces in Egypt announced on Wednesday that they had captured a large shipment of weapons en-route to the increasingly lawless Sinai Peninsula. The shipment, which included 108 warheads for the same Grad-type rockets which have been fired into Israel by Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip in recent weeks as well as 19,646 rounds of ammunition, was likely meant to be smuggled into Gaza. Security forces didn't comment on the likely source of the weapons, but the trucks carrying them were stopped on the main highway from the Nile Delta region to Libya, a country which has been the source of many weapons currently being sold on the Middle East region's black market Please pray that all current and future weapons shipments be discovered and destroyed before they are received by Hamas and other terror groups

3. Spy Satellite Spots Gaza Bound Weapons on Iranian Ship Ha Aretz News Nov 25th
Israeli spy satellites have spotted an Iranian ship being loaded with missiles that analysts say may be headed for Gaza, The Sunday Times reported.
According to the report, the cargo may include Fajr-5 rockets, like those that were fired by Hamas toward Israel and the stockpiles of which the Israel Defense Forces depleted during the recent round of fighting across the Gaza border, in addition to Shahab-3 ballistic missiles, which could be stationed in Sudan to pose a direct threat to Israel. “With a lot of effort, Iran has skillfully built a strategic arm pointing at Israel from the south,” an Israeli source was quoted as saying. The cargo would travel via the Red Sea, Sudan and Egypt, following a well-established route used by Iran to smuggle arms into Gaza, the Times reported. “We believe that Iranian warships anchored in Eritrea will accompany the weapons ship as soon as it enters the Red Sea,” an Israeli source said..
The shipment was reportedly prepared last week, at the same time as Israel and Hamas agreed to a cease-fire that would end the eight-day long Operation Pillar of Defense. “Regardless of the cease-fire agreement, we will attack and destroy any shipment of arms to Gaza once we have spotted it,” an Israeli defense source told the Times. On Saturday, Reuters reported that senior Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said Hamas would continue to arm itself with the help of Iran, though the truce signed in Cairo calls for a cessation of rocket fire at Israel, which Israel gave as its reason for launching its attacks in mid-November. "We have no choice but to continue to bring in weapons by all possible means," Zahar said, adding that he expected Tehran would "increase its military and financial support to Hamas". As above
please pray that all current and future weapons shipments be discovered and destroyed before they are received by Hamas and other terror groups

4. Obama’s Pledge of US Troops to Sinai Next Week Won Israel’s Nod for Cease-fire DebkaFileNews Nov 23
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu agreed to a cease-fire for halting the eight-day Israeli Gaza operation Wednesday night, Nov. 21, after President Barack Obama personally pledged to start deploying US troops in Egyptian Sinai next week. The conversation, which finally tipped the scales for a ceasefire, took place on a secure line Wednesday morning, just hours before it was announced in Cairo. The US and Israeli leaders spoke at around the time that a terrorist was blowing up a Tel Aviv bus, injuring 27 people. Obama’s pledge addressed Israel’s most pressing demand in every negotiating forum on Gaza: Operation Pillar of Cloud’s main goal was a total stoppage of the flow of Iranian arms and missiles to the Gaza Strip. They were smuggled in from Sudan and Libya through southern Egypt and Sinai. Hostilities would continue, said the prime minister, until this object was achieved.
Earlier, US officials tried unsuccessfully to persuade Israel to accept Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s personal guarantee to start launching effective operations against the smugglers before the end of the month. The trio running Israel’s Gaza campaign, Netanyahu, Defence Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, were willing to take Morsi at his word, except that Israeli security and intelligence chiefs assured them that Egypt has nothing near the security and intelligence capabilities necessary for conducting such operations. When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Jerusalem from Bangkok Tuesday, she tried assuring Netanyahu that President Obama had decided to accelerate the construction of an elaborate US system of electronic security fences along the Suez Canal and northern Sinai. It would also cork up the Philadelphi route through which arms are smuggled into the Gaza Strip. (The US Sinai fence project was first disclosed exclusively by us on Nov. 9). US security and civilian units will need to be deployed in Egyptian Sinai to man the fence system and operate it as an active counter-measure for obstructing the smuggling of Iranian weapons supplies.
The prime minister said he welcomed the president’s proposal to expedite the fence project, but it would take months to obtain Egyptian clearance. Mean-while, the Palestinians would have plenty of time to replenish their weapons stocks after Israel’s Gaza campaign. It was therefore too soon to stop the campaign at this point or hold back a ground incursion. Clinton was sympathetic to this argument. Soon after, President Obama was on the phone to Netanyahu with an assurance that US troops would be in place in Sinai next week, after he had obtained President Morsi’s consent for them to go into immediate action against Iranian smuggling networks. Netanyahu responded by agreeing to a cease-fire being announced in Cairo that night by Clinton and the Egyptian foreign minister, and to holding back the thousands of Israeli reservists on standby on the Gaza border. Our military sources report that the first air transports carrying US special forces are due to land at Sharm el Sheikh military airfield in southern Sinai in the next 48 hours and go into action against the arms smugglers without delay.
Please pray fhat Oama will keep to his promise to deploy the American soldiers in the Sinai

5. Gaza War is Over but the Hacker War is Not Aruz 7 News Nov 23
During the newly-concluded Gaza war, computer hackers affiliated with the global umbrella group Anonymous launched a campaign to take down Israeli government websites and do any damage possible to the computer systems that control Israel's infrastructure and financial institutions.
They failed. As Hamas fired 1,500 missiles at Israel, Anonymous hackers launched no fewer than 44 million attempts to hack into Israeli computer systems. Israeli Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said they were unsuccessful in all but one instance. One Israeli website was "wobbly for a few minutes," Steinitz told a press conference at the Government Computing Center in Jerusalem. (Note from BL: not quite the same story as appears elsewhere - I'm not sure which is true! ) Failing to take out official computer systems, Anonymous appears to now be attacking average Israelis. An Israeli hacker going by the handle "The_Joker80" informed the Hebrew technology website GeekSpot that Anonymous hackers had obtained the email addresses and passwords of 113,000 Israelis and supporters of Israel. The_Joker80 informed readers that nearly all of the addresses were from the online email services Yahoo!, Gmail, Walla and Hotmail, and recommended that all Israeli users of those services immediately change their passwords.

6. UN Votes for Recognition of Palestine Ha Aretz News Nov 29th
In a historic session of the United Nations in New York Thursday, exactly 65 years after passing the Partition Plan for Palestine, the General Assembly voted by a huge majority to recognize Palestine within the 1967 borders as a non-member state with observer status in the organization. Some 138 countries voted in favor of the resolution, 41 abstained and 9 voted against: Canada, Czech Republic, Israel, U.S., Panama, The Marshall Islands, Palau, Nauru, and Micronesia. Following the vote, U.S. UN envoy Susan Rice said the resolution does not establish Palestine as state, that it prejudges the outcome of negotiations, and ignores questions of security. Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas delivered a hard-hitting speech in which he was highly critical of Israel, drawing extensive applause from the floor. "Palestine comes today to the General Assembly because it believes in peace and because its people, as proven in past days, are in desperate need of it," Abbas said. The Palestinian Authority chairman said "The moment has arrived for the world to say clearly: Enough of aggression, settlements and occupation."
"The world is being asked today to undertake a significant step in the process of rectifying the unprecedented historical injustice inflicted on the Palestinian people since Al-Nakba of 1948." "The General Assembly is called upon today to issue a birth certificate of the reality of the State of Palestine," Abbas said. He concluded his speech to a standing ovation.
Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, responded to Abbas' speech, saying that peace could only be achieved through negotiations, not via the UN route.
"For as long as President Abbas prefers symbolism over reality, any hope of peace will be out of reach. No decision by the UN can break the 4,000 year-old bond between the people of Israel and the land of Israel," Prosor said. Those who vote in favor are undermining peace, he said. "The UN was founded to advance the cause of peace. Today the Palestinians are turning their back on peace. Don't let history record that today the UN helped them along on their march of folly."
Prosor said that Israel remains committed to peace, but that "we won't establish another Iranian terror base in heart of our country."
Responding to Abbas' speech, Prime Minister Netanyahu's office released a statement saying the world had watched a speech "full of dripping venom and false propaganda against the IDF and Israeli citizens. This is not how someone who wants peace speaks." The statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that no Palestinian state would be established without guarantees for the security of Israel, and that the way to peace would be through negotiations.
Netanyahu attacked the international community and said that “It doesn’t matter how many hands will be raised against it, there is no force in the world that would cause me to compromise Israel’s security.”
Netanyahu said the decision will not advance the establishment of a Palestinian state, but rather delay it. “Peace can only be achieved through negotiations between the sides with no preconditions, and not through unilateral decisions at the UN. I suggest not to be impressed by the applause at the UN. I remember the applause Israel received in the hall when it decided to unilaterally leave Gaza. We received applause and took missiles. Israel left Gaza and Iran entered. Exactly the same thing happened when we left Lebanon. As prime minister I will not allow another Iranian terror base in Judea and Samaria – in the heart of the country – one kilometer from the center of Jerusalem.” A senior official in Jerusalem said that Israel is not interested in carrying out immediate reactionary moves that would only serve to further focus international criticism of Israel, and not the Palestinians, who will be pressured after the UN move to renew negotiations with Israel without preconditions.
Please continue to pray that Israel will not give away any more of God's Holy Land

7. Iran Runs Simulations of Bomb Triple the Force of Hiroshima Blast Israel News Report Nov 26th
VIENNA - Iranian scientists have run computer simulations for a nuclear weapon that would produce more than triple the explosive force of the World War II bomb that destroyed Hiroshima, according to a diagram obtained by The Associated Press. The diagram was leaked by officials from a country critical of Iran's atomic program to bolster their arguments that Iran's nuclear program must be halted before it produces a weapon. The officials provided the diagram only on condition that they and their country not be named. The International Atomic Energy Agency the Vienna-based U.N. nuclear watchdog reported last year that it had obtained diagrams indicating that Iran was calculating the "nuclear explosive yield" of potential weapons. A senior diplomat who is considered neutral on the issue confirmed that the graph obtained by the AP was indeed one of those cited by the IAEA in that report. He spoke only on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to discuss the issue.
The IAEA report mentioning the diagrams last year did not give details of what they showed. But the diagram seen by the AP shows a bell curve with variables of time in micro-seconds, and power and energy both in kilotons the traditional measurement of the energy output, and hence the destructive power of nuclear weapons. The curve peaks at just above 50 kilotons at around 2 microseconds, reflecting the full force of the weapon being modelled. The bomb that the United States dropped on Hiroshima in Japan during World War II, in comparison, had a force of about 15 kilotons.
Please pray that Iran's nuclear ambitions will never come to pass

Learning...

Beautiful Lemon Sunflower

God's been good.  I have been learning some great life lessons and enjoying the journey.  (I just want to always be looking for the Sun(Son)! lol.

First new idea is that if I can't help the person directly then I shouldn't be talking about them.  The Bible has lots to say about 'slander'.  I couldn't believe how many scripture verses  I found!

Second new idea is that I should talk about Jesus until Holy Spirit tells me to be quiet.  Completely different perspective from most Christians especially at work.   I prayed for healing out loud  for someone at work that was a Christian and I could see that they were uncomfortable with it.

Another time I was sharing with someone higher up in the chain of command about how God told me to be careful in a situation and he remarked, "So you're a Christian?"  "YOU BET,"  I responded. Sad thing is he doesn't know that over half the people I work with are Christians,  they just don't talk about it.   Fear in it's various forms has caused them to take the easy way.... and the devil wins another round and we shame the one who suffered so much for us.

I don't know about you but I reckon myself dead to the flesh.... and any fear I discover I have,  I am working to eliminate.   I have overcome a few things and have a ways to go, but I'm going in the right direction!  I have found that it's easier to overcome  when I stay strong in  my Bible promises.

Third new idea  is that I am busy, so I have to make time to stay strong in the word.  I usually have about 40 minutes before I leave for work in the morning, so while I'm letting the dogs out and getting ready,  I've been turning on Dan Mohler on youtube and getting some good anointed word in me.   Good stuff.

Fourth  new idea is that business doesn't have to take you away from God's plan for your life.  It can force the decision making process, so that you pare away the things that don't really matter.  The choice is really up to you.

Holy Spirit has been helping me through some really busy weeks and my family and I aren't suffering and neither is my walk with the Lord.  Hallelujah!  Holy Spirit has been helping me to keep my priorities straight and I am so grateful!  I do not want to miss this end time move of God.  I want to be in it somehow, someway.

On that note, I am going to go sing the Lord a few songs and see what else he has to say before bed.
I Bless you  abundantly; physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, and relationally, in Jesus' name!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

I am Willing to be Willing

Hi there.  I was busy this morning uploading video clips onto "Kinburnrevival7" and doing laundry when I got the song, "Be still and know..."

Okay,  time to sit down for a bit before I run to the store and get a birthday cake, card and supper fixings.  I sat down and asked the Lord where to open my Bible and I got Haggai 2.    The Verse, "The silver is mine and the gold is mine." stood out to me and I thought about it.

I'm so willing to work to bring dreams to pass.  I love sowing seed into other people's lives.  But am I willing to wait on Him if that's what He asks?  That's a tougher request.  We can get so busy doing so many good things, yet we have nothing if we don't spend time with him first.  Like the Bible says, "Apart from me you can do nothing."(John. 15:5)

I am feeling the nudge to get a good camera so I can capture Healing videotape clips on the streets etc. and post them onto youtube.   I also want to get a back up computer so that it won't be so crazy next summer at Logos Land.  But you know what?  God knows all about it.  He knows about the bills better than we do.

So I started waiting on Him and the tears started falling.  All I could say was that, "I am willing to be willing!"  He hears and he answers!  My heart might not know why I am making excuses but I am willing to change.

Five minutes later, my daughter called and offered to get the cake and stuff for me because she's going into town anyhow.  Isn't that amazing?  Now I have a whole 2 hours just to sit at his feet and make spaghetti sauce.  I am laughing as I write this.  Who do I think I'm fooling?   Holy Spirit is so good to us.  He'll help me spend the next couple of hours in the word, waiting on Him and yes the spaghetti sauce will get made too.  Amazing God!

Have a great day as you determine to be willing to sit at his feet and listen.

Glory Within....

The glory of God is coming out of us.  We keep looking around for the glory of God to come down and visit but God keeps telling me to release the glory that's already in me.   As I do by praying for others for healing, blessing etc.,  the joy of the Lord increases in me and I can feel the level of fiery glory increasing inside of me.  It's so awesome!

So for me the key is to praise and worship and then ask Holy Spirit what I am allowed to declare over people, situations, cities etc.  As I release his 'now' word I have occasionally seen small bursts of light out of the corner of my eyes.  I asked the Lord what it was and he said that it was angels taking off.

I hope this helps you.  We can all release the measure of God that we have already received.  Spending time with the Lord is never a waste.  You cannot give your time to the Lord in waiting on him and singing to him the songs he wants to hear and not come away changed.  It's impossible.  He's the greatest giver there ever was.  If he wouldn't withhold his son from us, how can we think that he won't freely give us all things?

Last Friday night our worship leader was playing and prophesying.  She encouraged us to say his name, "Jesus".   I took it one step further by singing who he was to me, Wonderful Counselor,  Prince of Peace, my lover, my helper, my Savior, Righteous Judge, Rose of Sharron, Ancient of Days.  The glory of God increased  as the spontaneous song went up.  A fellow told me later that as he came to stand behind me during the worship he nearly fell down.    I was blissfully unaware of what was going on.

Holy Spirit loves our worship.  I was taught by Ray Hughes about the power in a spontaneous song and it's so true.  Try it out sometime! Here's the link to the article I wrote about it... http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.ca/2010/09/new-song-impact.html

Have a blessed day with Him!

Throwing Bombs in the Morning!

A few years ago a Prophetic person told me that I was supposed to start throwing 'bombs' out in the morning.  That really got me wondering what he meant.  I didn't get a chance to ask him about it so I put it on the back burner for a while.

Well, I finally figured it out.  As Christians we are supposed to be "as shrewd as snakes and as harmless as doves" so obviously hitting the enemy, or the people he's working through was not the right solution.   (ref. Mat. 10:16)

Too bad.  At times I would love to give some people a piece of my mind.  However, what the Lord was showing me is that the best way to throw out a 'bomb' is to declare something like, "Thank You Lord that my family is protected from freak accidents today."

Really what we're doing is putting up walls of protection.  We are deciding how our day is going to go with the words we speak. We are putting up fences in the spirit realm so that the enemy  cannot trespass.

What I have been doing is using Psalm 91 as my foundation. It's easy to memorize and if I've forgotten all my notes at home I can still decree this on my way to work.   Here is what I have come up with so far. Remember to speak them out loud because the devil can't hear your thoughts.

Thank You Lord that we choose today to abide with you and remain conscious of your presence today.
Thank you Lord Jesus that we rest in your presence today.
Thank You Lord Jesus that we determine to praise You today.
Thank you Lord that You are our refuge and fortress today.
Thank You Lord for teaching us and guiding us today. Thank You for going ahead of us and preparing the way for us today.  Thank you Lord that we live to bring you glory today.  Teach us how to love one another and honor one another more.
Thank You Lord for giving us teachable hearts that we might learn more about your faithfulness.
Thank You Lord that You save us from anything coming against us physically, spiritually, mentally or financially today.
Thank You Lord that You protect us from all bad biologicals and any form of attack against us.
Thank You Lord for protecting us from things we can't see.
Thank You Lord for confounding (mixing up, confusing)  all the plans of the enemy today.
Thank You Lord  Jesus that no harm befalls my family and I.
Thank You Lord that no calamity comes near our home or business.
Thank You Lord Jesus for all the angels that hearken to the voice of your word through us, that are protecting us all day long.  Hallelujah!  Let them get their testimonies Lord.
Thank You Lord that we tread upon the lion and the cobra.  That in Your name we are victorious over all evil.
Thank You Lord that you are causing all things to work together for our good.  We are more than conquerors through your love working in us.
Thank You Lord that because we love You, You will honor us and deliver us and You will be especially close to us in times of trouble.
Thank You Lord that you honor us with long life and You will show us more about our 'great salvation' and what it means in our lives.
Thank You Lord Jesus for renewing our youth today.
Amen!

Hope you liked your decrees.  I can feel God's presence around me just speaking them out.  He's so good to us! Have a great day with Him!  Throw a few 'bombs' for me while you are at it!

Bless you!
Big hugs,

Too Busy... No way!

I took a friend grocery shopping while in Ottawa yesterday, since they don't have a car.   First of all, I was shocked at how little they spend on groceries.  $50.00 was it! One big bag of mung beans and some other beans, vegetables, milk and eggs and that was it.  What a shock!  I spend around $100-150/week on groceries for the same number of people.

Yup.... it was a eye opener for sure.  Now I am looking for ways that I can trim my grocery bill a bit more, without sacrificing the variety of our diet.  I don't think I'm ready to have beans 4 different ways a week.

The other thing she pointed out was that I didn't give out a word of knowledge in the grocery store and she's right.  I have been so busy video taping and video editing that I've fallen out of the groove and slipped back into not doing much with what I have.

It's time to set up some better boundaries with certain individuals and stoke the fire again.  If I have been there once I can get there again.

Here's some confessions that I use to stoke the fire of God inside of me.  Speak them out loud and see how they help you!

Thank You Lord that You are always with me. That you will never leave me or forsake me.
Thank You Lord that I see with your eyes and that Your love compels me to reach out and help relieve suffering, wherever I find it.
Thank You Lord that I am full of you, Holy Spirit.
Thank You Lord that I am a walking conduit of Heaven's glory and presence.
Thank You Lord that I release the light of your glory within me every where I go.
Thank You Lord that I resist the devil and he has to flee.
Thank You Lord that I exult Your word above my experience.
Thank You Lord that I don't let a lack of instant results deter me from reaching out and commanding healing to flow to others.   I can always give them a church business card and ask them to contact us with their testimony later.
Thank You Lord for all the angels that hearken to Your word through me.  Show me what to decree so the angels get their testimonies today.
Thank You Lord that I resist fear and I walk with Holy Spirit.  Freely I have received and freely I give.
Thank You Lord that I don't grieve Holy Spirit today.
Thank You Lord that I am quick to repent when I don't feel Holy Spirit's abiding presence around me.
Thank You Lord that I honor your 'nudges' above my need for comfort or security.
THank You Lord that I seize the moments to make a difference for You.
Thank You for Heaven on earth flowing through me.
Thank You Lord that I'm bold because I'm righteous!
Thank you Lord that I am Your revival vessel today, right now!
Thank You Lord for going ahead of me and preparing the path for me.
Thank you for opportunities to advance your kingdom and for your help to recognize what you would have me to say and do.
Thank You Lord for more of your love shed abroad in my heart to day.
Thank You Lord for a great day with You.
Thank you Lord that there's nothing that can happen that we can't get through together.
Thank you that You are working all things together for my good.
Thank you for blessing and protecting Israel and all her people.
Thank You Lord for protecting all my leaders.  Bless them and guide them Lord.  Amen!

That's a good way to start.   Believe it or not, I have to get past the point of 'what if nothing happens' too.  Actually, something always happens when we pray for people.  It is just it starts on the inside first and works it's way to the outside.  Just like a cold starts inside before you ever have symptoms, so does healing start from the inside.

Therefore be encouraged!   You will get your testimonies!  God is faithful!  He won't test you beyond what you can endure.  And in the mean time he's pruning you and growing you into a short, bushy tree that bears much fruit for the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!

Bless you!

Howdy.  Back home from the tent meetings.  I've done so much video editing and recording this past week.  I had some great helpers along the way, Praise the Lord!

Someone was just talking about the  Jezebel spirit and that's a huge topic.  Without belittling their concerns I am just going to say a few things about her.  First of all, she's not everywhere at once.  Second we have authority over her and we need to use it.  Third,  the Lord has spoken through his prophets and the day is here when she will be cast down in the churches of Canada.  God is raising up eunuchs to cast her out just like he used eunuchs in the Old Testament to cast her out. (ref. 2Kings 9:32-33)

A Jezebel spirit works through control and manipulation and the lusts of the flesh to take out God's anointed people.  Very subtle at times, we need lots of wisdom to recognize her covert activities.  This spirit attacks men too.  It got associated with women because of Queen Jezebel from the old testament but I'm sure that wasn't the first time this spirit was dealt with.

It takes people who are dead to the lusts of the flesh, possessing much Godly wisdom to deal with her.  This is a strongman spirit that is boss over many other spirits. "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe." (Luke 11:21)  "In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house."  (Mark 3:27)

We do have authority to bind up the strong man  and many do. Where we need to get stronger is holding the ground that we are taking.  Back lash does come and if you're not ready for it it can give you a nasty surprise.

I cannot emphasize enough, it's one thing to go around binding every wicked spirit you sence.  We need wisdom to pray according to Holy Spirit's leading.  After you have done that ask Holy Spirit to help you hold the ground you have taken.

It only takes one little fox to ruin the crop!  We need to recognize the little foxes that come in to steal the fruit of our kingdom endeavors. (ref. Sgs. 2:15)

Too many times we bind the strong man and leave our walls down!  Then like the Bible say, " When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first." (Luke 11:24-26)  We need to guard what we have taken in the Kingdom so that the door is not reopened for the enemy to come back in!

Okay.... so how do you protect what you have decreed? Get your angels working every day! Also, be prepared.  Little thoughts of strife, envy and offense need to be taken captive immediately.  Keep up on your positive kingdom confessions.   Psalm 91, 149 and 29 are good places to start.   2Cor. 10:4-5, 3John 2, 1John 4:4, 1 John 2:21-27 and Is. 54:17 will definitely help you. Stay in fellowship with other believers.  If you get into trouble call a friend to help you pray and break off any retaliation.

In consistency lies your power. Every morning decree that you walk in the Light of God's countenance, that you are a blessing everywhere you go, that no evil will come near your home or life, that your steps are bathed in butter-- favor and anointing.  Make sure that you are serving in your local church.  There are huge rewards for serving in your local church (another story for another day).

You can do this. I am still learning  how to walk 'anointed' and not in what people have told me I was all my life. I can do what God has called me to do and so can you.  We don't rely on our own abilities, but on Holy Spirit, right? Right!  Jesus says to us,"... take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

As we learn to walk hand in hand with Jesus we will walk more and more in His authority.   Jesus didn't go around binding every wicked spirit. They left when he showed up.  The more we learn to walk in our Kingdom authority the less we have to go around binding wicked kings.  They start to flee when we show up, without us even saying a word.

So keep growing.  Ask Holy Spirit what you are to pray in each and every situation and He'll guide you safely through your day.  Have fun learning how to be a King or Queen for the King of Kings.  Learn how to dispense his justice everywhere you go.  Practice showing mercy to those who don't deserve it.  Get really good at enforcing the victory of Calvery  and making all Jesus's enemies his footstool! (Heb. 10:13)

I bless you with Kingdom authority now.  May you walk in the authority that God has given me. May you rule and reign in all your situations through Holy Spirit and bring much praise, honor and glory to Jesus every day, everywhere you go! Amen! (ref. Rom.5:17,19)

I Am So Proud!

I am so proud of the guys that go to my church. This fellow Glen, that I got on video tape is amazing.   http://youtu.be/W5LgU6yMMPU

He's so natural about sharing the Kingdom of God.   I am guessing, but I think it's because he was in the church 30+ years before he really got activated, that he's so thorough with people.  He doesn't assume that people don't want Jesus or they don't want to get saved.

Because of that he has led many people to the Lord.  We need to applaud  people like this because Revival is dead in the water when people are not getting saved.  This man has led so many people to the Lord and brought many people to  the Healing Services at Kinburn Revival/ www.wcca.ca

I put some text in the video so you could see the progression I see him using on a regular basis.  It's working for him and it will work for you too!

Go and be blessed! You are a Mobile Healing Unit.  Your hands are armed and dangerous and kick the devil's butt wherever you go.  Your words are setting captives free, speaking life to dead situations and healing to those that are oppressed.   You ARE his ambassador! Amen!

My Friend

I have a friend who is looking for people to pray for.  His eyes are wide open to see anyone who might be sick, diseased or hurting in anyway.   Then if they allow, he prays for them and invites Holy Spirit to show up and Holy Spirit does!   And Holy Spirit is showing up more and more!  There were so many testimonies at the Emergency department of the local hospital that he got told to come back whenever he wanted!

This can be your testimony too!  This fellow hasn't been saved more than two years.  He saw a few healing services and how people were healed and went after it.... consistently.  God's rewarding him.  Like the Bible says, "He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." (Prov. 8:17)

This fellow doesn't know his Bible inside out either.  He just loves Holy Spirit and makes time to fellowship with Holy Spirit.... when Holy Spirit nudges him.   That's a huge key right there.  Too many people miss out on God because it's inconvenient or they are busy doing something else.

Another key I have noticed in this man's life, is that he has also followed the little nudges like the hair standing up on his arms. He'll say, "He's here now."

I wonder how many of us have out-reasoned ourselves from an encounter with God by not acknowledging Him when he showed up in little ways.   This fellow has been faithful with little and now he's been given much!  The atmosphere is electric around him!  He starts talking about Holy Spirit and you can feel Heaven around you!  My eyes start to tear up and the hair on my arms stands up too.

Anyhow..... if you want more of God try these ideas and I am sure you will get a breakthrough-- just like he did!  God is on your side and is not trying to punish you.  He has said that never again will he be angry with us. Hallelujah!  We can always take him at his word. He wants us to have encounters with Him everyday.

I bless you with more of his love and courage.  May we always be bold and stouthearted.  Lord go ahead of us and prepare the way for us.  Help us to seize the opportunities to pray for people.  Help us to remember to get them to check to see if there's a difference!  Help us to be diligent about seeking you Lord.  Amen!

Another Strategy to Break Through!

If there are times when you don't know what to do to get a break through, keep reading.

You probably have done all the regular things you know to do; like pleading the blood of Jesus over you and repenting of any sin you are aware of.  If you still don't hear anything, then may I suggest that you 'offer yourself a living sacrifice' to him? (ref. Rom. 12:1-2)

Let me explain...  When there's a cloud around me and it's hard to hear, I picture myself climbing on a huge alter and laying down.  Then I give my ideas, my mindsets, my interpretations of visions, all my past experiences etc. to  the Lord.  Sometimes this takes a while.  Then I ask Holy Spirit to bring to my remembrance anything that is getting in the way of our relationship.  He's so faithful to show me!  Hallelujah!  He wants this for us.

God always shows up when there's a sacrifice on the alter--always!   He's no respecter of persons either.  What he's done for me He'll do for you.

This is another key that God has helped me use to get corporate break through at church.  It usually only takes one person to visit heaven and if they decree that everyone gets touched by heaven then they will.   There is so much power in our words.

When I claim Holy Spirit's presence around me he shows up!  When I don't claim it.... he sometimes doesn't. When I release the glory that's inside of me people get touched wherever I am.

Therefore I want to encourage you to use your words on purpose. Say what you want to see out loud and expect Heaven to move in.  Truly we have not because we ask not!

I bless you with more of His presence today and more of his boldness. Amen!

Deception

I think all of North America is in shock following the mass murder of so many people in a movie theater in Colorado.  How can this happen?   What would cause someone to do such a thing?  Now the police are having a hard time getting into this fellow's apartment!
Link for news article

Easy.... deception.  One little thought that goes unchecked, fed by another thought that goes unchecked and before long the person has believed a lie.

The next step is when they start treating people as if the lie they have believed is truth.  Really, they are viewing people through 'rose-colored glasses" and are not able to distinguish truth from the fiction they have believed.  At this point it's easy for the enemy to add other lies to the initial one.

This is the trap that introverts can easily fall in to.  Because they like to be alone and think, they don't get the feedback that will keep those questionable ideas in check.  Also,  because they are the silent ones, they don't often reach out for help, so you can be living with somebody and not really know that they need counseling.

We can see this behavior in Christians too.  When we don't stay in contact with others we can easily fall into deception.   That's why it's so important that we stay in touch with people who will pray for us when they see danger signs and even disagree with us in conversation-- if warranted.   Iron sharpens iron and it keeps us from getting dull too. We need to stay sharp to the enemy's schemes. Amen?

Pride will cause some people to think that they don't need peers, or that friends will not understand their ideas and opinions.  Emergency alarms should be going off if you see someone who thinks he is better than everyone else.  He or she is headed for a fall.

It's very sad to see something like this happen. We need the Lord's eyes and ears to see the lonely ones and hear what the people are 'not' saying.  Even more importantly, we need the Lord's heart so that we will care enough to keep calling forth the plan of God in these individuals.

Let's pray: "Lord please help all the hurting people. Let your love flow and let your mercy and grace touch each and everyone of them. Bring healing and help to all those affected, in Jesus' name.  Here am I Lord.  Use  me to help  others today. Amen!"

Hay and Healing Testimony

Hi there.   Tricia hurt her wrist last night when she tried to break her fall in the hay mow.  We were done the hay so she didn't have to move it much and I don't think she realized how badly she hurt it. This morning it was really bad and she told me about it so I prayed for her and got her to check it.  It was still a bit sore so I prayed again.   I could feel the love flowing through me.  Then she checked it again and the pain was a bit better.

I prayed again and we included all the people who did hay last night because I was a bit sore too.
After that time she was much better. You could see the delight on her face.

Three hours later and we just finished man-handling some bales into their final positions in the barn and her wrist is still good.  Hallelujah!  She's going for a swim now. PTL!

I just had to write about this.  Normally pulled wrists take a few weeks to heal, never mind moving  three-four hundred lb.  bales around the same day!  God is Great Saints!

Lord, the anointing you have given me I give to the person reading this and 100x more!  Let them always have the boldness and trust to step out of their boat for you! Amen!

Bless you again!

Healings this week

It's been a very busy week as we are haying.  Hungry people want food so I have been going to the grocery store for supplies.  I had asked the Lord for fresh eyes to see the people to pray for and He's been answering.

A friend said recently, "When we see someone Jesus is seeing them through us."  That really gave me something to think about in a new way.  As I am appropriating this truth it means that Jesus is looking through my eyes and of course He wants everyone whole and healthy.   That's part of what the Hebrew word 'shalom' means-- peace with nothing broken and nothing missing.

I prayed for a number of people this week.  A few encounters stood out to me that I'll share with you.

One lady had a huge goiter type cyst on her neck.  It was really making it hard for her to turn her head.  I asked her if that was a goiter and she immediately said, "It's just a growth and it bothers other people far more than it does me."

Isn't that an interesting response?  I thought to myself... she doesn't know my God and what he can do.  So I commanded that thing to disappear and I blessed her, in Jesus' name.  I didn't ask her permission because we were in a checkout line and she obviously didn't have faith to agree with me.  Didn't take long but you watch, the next time I see her that growth will be gone!  It has no choice.  Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

Another fellow that stuck in my memory was the man I prayed for yesterday.  He was young and had a cane.  I get stuck some times wondering what to say to start the conversation so I just asked him, "Is that your cane?" (I know it's lame.)

He replied, "Yes," and looked at me quizzically.

I asked him, "Are you in pain right now?" and he paused and responded "Yes, without the cane I am in lots of pain."

I commanded healing to flow through him as I touched his arm and I rebuked all the pain and commanded it to leave him. I told him that I had seen some crazy healings at church and that God wanted to heal him too.  I left him after I blessed him and told him that I would keep praying for him.

He was very appreciative that I stopped and showed compassion.

As you can see I am no pro at this.  I fumble with words many times and I'm sure I appear a fool to many folk, but I really don't care.  His love in me can't stand to see others hurting.  I know but I know that if I won't cancel my faith with wrong words, that those people will be healed.  I've seen it too many times.

Our words coming out of our mouths are so much more powerful than the words of fear or unbelief coming out of other people because our words are life and theirs are death.  Heaven is far more powerful than hell.  Remember, one can put to flight 1000 and two 10,000?  That's how powerful our words can be.  Come to think of it... that's  probably why the devil works overtime trying to get Christians to speak words of fear and unbelief--because he knows that's the only way to stop us.

In any case... I want to encourage you to step out anyway you can.  Don't worry if you don't have all the right answers.  People will forgive you when they feel that you care.  His love will make a way for you.  His love never fails!  Remember-- he saw them before you did.  He goes before you and makes the way clear for you.

You want to pray a dangerous prayer with me?

"Lord, please show us how much you love the people around us.  Shed more of your love in our hearts where we find it hard to love others.  Let us always walk in the reverential fear of You and not the fear of man.  Thank you Lord that we don't love our reputations, our lives more than you.  We want to overcome by Your blood and by our testimony(words).  Thank you that we are always bold because we are righteous. Hallelujah! Amen!" (Rom. 5:5, Prov. 2:1-8, Prov. 29:25,  Rev. 12:11, Prov. 28:1)
