The Heart Beat of the Sound of Heaven

I was seeking the Lord and after I came back downstairs this song came to me while I was making a tea. It blessed me so much that I recorded it.  It has some good confessions in it.

We do hear the heart beat of Heaven if we have Holy Spirit in us.
We can see now.  We can hear now and we can know God's heart now.
Glory is around us as we focus on Jesus, Heaven and what Holy Spirit wants to tell us. Hallelujah!
Angels are activated by our Spirit-filled words.

So enjoy the song and feel free to share it with others. I am convinced that we are so close to a huge awakening, it might only take one revelation for the right person and they will catch fire.  I know I am signing up to be a 'keeper of the flame' or whatever else He might need. "No cost is to high to pay for You, my Lord" (another song from many years ago).

If you want some fire, agree with me... "Lord we want to be fire starters for you.  We want to be the tinder You need, the wood You need and the coal You need.  What ever the situation requires Lord, please use us. Don't pass us by. Let Your holy fire pour through our lives and bring glory to Yourself. Yes Lord, we want You to be glorified.  We give You all the glory for what You are doing already and what You are going to do. Amen!"
I shout, "FIRE, FIRE, FIRE  on you now, all over you now... and may you always be on fire for Him! Amen."

Football Analogies

I was reading some of my notes from Sunday Church service last summer and I was really encouraged, so I am going to share them with you.  I think it was Pastor Mark that was teaching http://www.wcca.ca

In Football the offensive line protects the defensive line further up the field. (That's something we can all work on.  Too many Christians think it's perfectly ok to take pot shots at other Christians.)

There is no agreement with the enemy/opposing team... ever. (The devil comes only to steal, kill and destroy..." (ref. John. 10:10)).

The devil's goal is to get you all alone... where he will proceed to eat your lunch.

You Are Important!

There are many different strategies in a game of Football.
In a similar way there are many different strategies to the Christian life.  Ask the Lord what the strategy is today. (DON'T Assume the strategy is the same as yesterday. Assume equals making an 'ass' of u and me.)

We matter. We are not losers. The devil is trying to get us on the outside alone.  Don't get caught off guard. Don't be sidelined.

We don't have to know the whole play book to be efficient.  (Now that's a good thought!)

Be obedient.  We all have little parts to play.  All of them are important.

On that note.... I am going to go pick up my daughter from work and think about all the ways I can help the Saints around me.
Have a great evening with Him!

Writing Your Personal Testimony

This is a very powerful tool and I exhort you to start writing yours.  After all, the "Testimony of Jesus and what He's done in your life is the spirit of Prophesy" (ref. Rev. 19:10).

We all have a testimony.   It doesn't have to be earth shattering to be valuable. How God lead you to the truth, is what we want to focus on. There are people that your testimony will reach that won't relate to mine at all.  Every testimony is valuable.

Some helpful pointers:

1. Keep it short and to the point.  Less than  500 words. You want to have  a beginning, key points in your process, the final results and then how the reader can get saved.

2.  Avoid  Christian lingo that unbelievers won't understand.

3. Edit, edit and edit.  Get a friend to help you with that.

4. Make sure you are clear about what they need to do to get saved.

5.  Leave them with an address, phone number or web site to get more information.

6. Use a card making program for your  layout.

When you want to hand them out you can use an opener like, "Here's my story. I hope you like it."
I had great success giving this out at the University and at the Mall.  The personal touch really adds a lot to it.

Now, I'm going to show you my first attempt at writing my testimony and then we can critique it together, okay? Here goes...

My Story...

I was sick of living.  Tired of the parties, the drinking, all the games I played trying to forget my life. Nothing was changed the following morning. I was still the same, just more tired.  I’d been told so many times that I was 'a failure' that I had started believing it.  I didn’t know how to get out of the rut.  I was tired of running from myself and my past. I had no hope and I was really tired of all the mind-games people played.

I didn’t know much about God. I knew I was a sinner.  I lied, I sweared constantly,  I didn’t obey my parents and I was hurting so bad that I didn't care.

One night I tried to end it all with an overdose of drugs and a twenty-sixer of Vodka.  I blurted out, “If there’s a God, I really need to know.” Nothing happened so I kept drinking. Later, I noticed that every time I passed out something would jar me awake in my bed.

I was all by myself in my little room. I knew that. I couldn't move on my own at all!  I was just waiting for the drugs and alcohol to do their work.  I got mad the second time it happened.  I thought to myself “Gees *@!!  I can’t even die right!”

Then it dawned on me that I was being kept alive.  What a feeling! To all of a sudden discover that there is something out there, and that He cares about a failure like me. Peace like I’ve never felt before washed over me and I fell into a deep, deep sleep.

I woke up the next morning with no side effects at all. Amazing, as I had taken enough drugs to kill a horse, so to speak.  I had absolutely no idea what to do at this point.  I knew I should be dead.

It took me a while to find that peace again...

He’s got a name. It’s Jesus.  I was always a keener and I started checking out things I had been told.  We were taught a lot of lies in school.

Over twenty years later and I’d never go back.  Yes, there have been some rough times, but He’s never left me. I went back to school and graduated. Then I got an engineering degree. I have four children now, when the doctors gave me no hope of ever having children.  Jesus--He’s my healer too.   He's Wisdom too. There’s so much wisdom in the Bible.  It’s helped turn around my self-talk and break the curses of the past.  Life is so worth living. When you have Jesus and He’s Lord of your life, you have a great destiny.

So where are you?

If I told you that you would eventually have to jump off an airplane, you’d want to be wearing a parachute, right? Just knowing that one existed won't help you.  In the same way, we are all going to die someday and the parachute is Jesus.  "There is no other name by which man can be saved" (John 14:6).  You don’t have to believe me. Check it out like I did.  No other religion ‘forgives sin.”

I hope you start asking questions too, and may you find Jesus, the Prince of Peace!

God bless you, in Jesus’ Name!!

------------------------------------------------------

This was the first tract I did.  I had good success giving it to students at the university and to people at the malls.

If I were going to do it again I would include scripture.  I would change the part after
"So where are you?"  to something like...

If you died today do you know for certain that you would go to heaven or are you just hoping? I've got good news for you.  The bible says that if you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and confess him with your mouth, You shall be saved. (Romans 10:9-10)  Just ask Jesus  to forgive all the things you've done wrong and come into your heart to stay.
 God Bless you!

If you've done that  or have any questions we want to hear from you.  Please contact us at the following address, phone number, church etc.

I hope this encourages you to work on your testimony.  We should always be able to share it with somebody verbally, whenever we have the opportunity, because it truly is a miracle. God will use it for His Glory to touch other lives.  Hallelujah!

Let me bless you now. "Lord I ask that you would help this reader to write out his/her testimony and that You would show them how to word it.   Help them  to memorize the important parts.  Help them to learn Your word so that they can share it with others and give them boldness to do this.  In Jesus' Name I ask. Amen!"

Big hugs,

Don't Quit!

I saw this nice poem on the net so I thought I would share it.  I used to have it on a poster in my room when I was going through Engineering. It really helped me, that and having my western saddle sitting in front of my desk on a stand. I knew that I would need a good job if I wanted to have horses again. LOL.

Don’t Quit
When things go wrong,
as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging
seems uphill,
When the funds are low and
the debts are high,
and you want to smile,
but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must . . . but don’t you quit.
Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell
how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So, stick to the fight
when you’re hardest hit . . .
It’s when things go wrong
that you mustn’t quit.

There you go. Did you know that the stats say that it takes the average entrepreneur 3 bankruptcies before they hit the right combination of idea, marketing strategy and management style before they are successful?

Never mind how many inventors  had to deal with failure after failure before they finally figured out how to make their inventions work.

I had six miscarriages, before I finally had my daughter Cassie.  What would have happened if I had quit after the fifth miscarriage?  The doctors told me there was nothing they could do for me.  It caused me to turn to God more and then after the sixth miscarriage I learned that there was a promise in the Bible about God healing us.  (Is. 53:5, 2Pet. 2:24)

Well, the rest is history as they say and I had three more healthy babies, with all the attributes and giftings the Lord directed me to pray into them.  Plus I have prayed for countless others for healing since then.  God turned  the nightmare in my life into a huge blessing.

So, I can say 'don't quit" because God is no respecter of persons.  What He has done for me, He will do for you.  He loves you with an everlasting love, He really does.

I Stay Strong In The Lord

Hi Saint.  I got this song last summer and it really helped me to stay focussed of some of the promises God has given me for this valley. The Bible talks about having endurance so that we can finish our race and get the prize. I sure don't want to find out that I quit 10 feet in front of the finish line  or 10 seconds before a breakthrough occurred! (Ref. Gal 6:9)

I'm going to share it here so it can help you too.  Enjoy!

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." ( Gal. 6:9-10)
"But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit." (Jude 1:20)

God's Not Answering, Part 2

Hi there.  I was reading the post I wrote today about "God's Not Answering" and I thought I better add to it.

Sometimes when you feel that God is not answering  it's because He wants you to ask detailed questions.  As you ask Holy Spirit what's going on and follow His direction you will get more details about what is troubling  you and He will lead you to victory.  Then you will be better equipped  to help other people in their time of need.

Also, sometimes it can be that the symptoms you are fighting are an illusion and God will tell you to rest and let Him work.  That has happened to me when I felt the Lord telling me to declare that the cause of the symptom was healed.

There are times when it can be a word of knowledge for another person and they are having a hard time receiving the anointing because of doubt-filled words, a bad confession, frustration or unforgiveness.  Then I will still have the symptoms as I pray God's mercy and grace to cancel out all their wrong words and frustration.  As soon as they start to receive my symptoms leave. That is one of the ways that I know I have broken through for them.

Finally,  there are times when you feel that God is not answering and it can be that you are going into a winter season of the soul.  Things appear dead on the surface, but God is wanting to do a deep work in your heart to prepare you for the next season.   I have learned to rejoice in the winter's of the soul because I know I am going to learn more and come out with some huge personal victories, as I cooperate with what the Lord wants to do in my life.

Be encouraged. He is watching over us better than we will ever realize.

Lord I ask that You would give the person reading this a revelation of Your constant care for them. May they sense Your presence afresh right now and may they delight in You.  I ask for grace and trust to take You at Your word Lord, and for joy in their journey with You. Amen!

God's Not Answering

There comes a time in every Christian's life when you feel that God is not answering.   Everything was going great and you could get blasted by Holy Spirit at every meeting, get healed, get touched and now it feels like nothing is going on.

I am hear to tell you not to give up.   God only allows in His wisdom what He could easily prevent by His power.  If you are not feeling His presence right now, it could be that you are moving into a new season of your life, where you walk by faith and not by sight (or sensation).  This is quite normal in the Christian life and it's a sign of growth.  You are getting rid of the diapers and moving into training pants.

You see, the only way you can personally please the Father is to walk by faith-- not sight (ref. Heb. 11:6).  So that means you thank Him for touching you, even when you don't feel it, because you are convinced by the Bible's promises that God can't lie.  If you ask Him to touch you, He is, whether you feel Him or not.

The same is true with regard to healing.  I know some people who are upset because they still have some symptom or other and they have gone to many healing meetings.  My heart goes out to them as I hear them express their frustration with God.  "They've been healed before so why doesn't He do it now?" is the usual line I hear.

I don't have all the answers.  I can share a bit from my own experience and I hope this will help you.
As we grow up, the Father wants us to grow in faith-- and faith is a muscle.  We know that muscles that don't get used are not healthy and will eventually shrivel up.  Therefore, we need obstacles to overcome for our faith to grow.  We need to grow our faith and not rely on someone else's faith all the time.

Also, we can only give away with power the testimonies we have gained.  Head knowledge doesn't cut it in the Kingdom of God. There's no 'umph!' with it.

I didn't have a preacher or a meeting that I could go to when I needed healing, so I went to the Word of God. I read the verse, that "by His stripes I was healed" and said, "That's mine." I knew that God can't lie and if He didn't want me to have that promise,  He shouldn't have put it in His book.  I already knew that He was no respecter of persons. (ref. Is. 53:5, Heb. 6:18, Acts 10:34)

Then I rested. I quit fretting and I let God be God. I stayed thankful and kept the praise and worship playing and tried to go on with my life as best as I could.

I was healed... It took me a while to realize it because it was progressive, like so many healings, but it started the moment I claimed it as mine and rested.

Our heads get us into so much trouble.  We need to learn to take negative, doubt-filled thoughts captive and not speak them out loud.  Negative talk has undone many a good healing confession.

Faith comes when you've planted the promise of God in your heart and meditated on it a while and it  dawns on you. That's when you know you have the goods.  Then you can pray and rest with a thankful heart.

Also, don't let circumstances or stress push you into messing up your faith-filled words. Many a healing has been lost by pressure.  It's time to double up on the anointed word of God, not throw Your Bible on the shelf.

Then when you get to a healing meeting your faith will work with the ministry team person or preacher and not against them.

After you get a victory or two start giving away your victories by agreeing for healing for others when they go up for prayer.

Okay, enough said. Let me bless you now.

I declare that you are blessed, highly favored and passionate for God and His kingdom. May you plant the word of God deep in your heart and may it always bear fruit.  May His word come back to your rememberance when you need it and may your life be full of blessing, in Jesus' name I ask. Amen!

Quieting Ourselves

Have you ever wondered why God doesn't yell at us much?  I have. I think it would be so much easier if He did.  I wonder if it's because He wants us to seek Him?  He wants relationship that's based on choice and not forced on us.

Most of the time He speaks very gently to us, like a friend.  If we are not paying attention we won't hear His voice above all the back ground noise in our lives.  It takes practice to quiet our minds so we can hear His gentle whispers.

I was trying to quiet my mind one evening while I was worshiping on the piano and this song came.  I thought it might encourage you to press in for more so I recorded it today.  Enjoy!

Thank You Lord for helping us to take our thoughts captive so we can hear Your gentle voice.
Thank You Lord for helping us to set aside time each day to hear your voice.
Lead us to Your throne and give us dreams and visions about Your kingdom Lord, in Jesus' name we ask. Amen!

Help for Stress

Hi there.   I was just out with a girlfriend and I don't know what's going on, but so many people are depressed these days.  This is not right. We who have the Lord, have a lot to be thankful for.

I was encouraging her to look at the bigger picture that each job is a stepping stone. For example this current job that she has, has allowed her the money and time to get her driver's license and pay off a car.  Maybe the next job will be one that requires a car and now she is prepared for it.

I encouraged her to go home and do something new. Draw something, try a new recipe, do a new craft, something that will encourage her that she can learn new things and that change doesn't always have to be bad.

And above all, I told her,  keep doing your daily devotions and reading your  bible.  There is so much hope and encouragement in the Bible.  It's a wonderful way to keep your brain sharp.  I love how many seniors there are at the prayer group I go to and their minds are so quick.  I truly believe that there is supernatural power in the word of God to renew your youth and keep you young.

Christmas should be a time where we try to enjoy our families, whether blood or adopted.  Since Roy and I got laid off again a week apart we are trying to do things that don't cost a lot of money.  Making cookies and decorating them, playing music together, doing crafts together and even playing a board game together count for some really good memories.

I am going to post a song that the Lord gave me when I found out that I was grinding my teeth in my sleep. I didn't realize that the stress of being laid off before Christmas was bothering me until this happened.  May this song help you like it's helped me!

Not bad eh?  Amateur quality but the pictures sure are nice.  Some good confessions to speak over yourself are:

"Thank You Lord that You give me a good night's sleep because You love me." (ref. Ps. 127:2)
"Thank You Lord that I lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." (ref. Psalm 4:8)
Thank You Lord that I can rejoice always!  Thank You for showing me how. (ref. Phil 4:8).
I declare that You are Blessed and Highly Favored by the Greatest King of All!

I Won't Let Anything Stop Me

A few months ago I got this song and it has helped me to set aside things to pursue more of the Lord's presence in my life.  I trust that it will bless you.

When I start to hum this song I know it's time to count the cost and make time to hear His voice. Without Jesus I am nothing. Without Jesus I can do nothing (1Cor. 13:2, John 15:5).
I bless you with a determination to seek His face at all cost.

Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

Well 'tis the season of sugar cookies.  My daughter and I made these for the Bethlehem Live play our church (www.wwca.ca) puts on.  There were over one hundred people that came last night to our little church out in the country and we heard it was a great show. I was in the kitchen, with some friends putting out the cookies and getting the hot chocolate ready for the crowds.

Here's the recipe for them:

SOUR CREAM SUGAR COOKIES

1/2 cup butter (melted)
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 egg
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda
dash of salt

In a large bowl combine butter and sugar and beat till mixed. Add the sour cream, vanilla and egg and beat again.  Add in 2.5 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and mix it together with a spoon. If the dough is super wet and won't form a sticky ball add in the last 1/2 cup of flour. Mix and then refrigerate for a few hours.

The dough, when it is chilled, is quite hard and sticks to the bottom of the bowl (that's good). On a well floured surface, roll each half of the dough to 1/8-1/4 thickness (I aim for 1/4 inch thickness). Using cookie cutters, cut into desired shapes. With a spatula transfer the cookies to  ungreased cookie sheets, placing them 1/2 inch apart.

Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes, or till edges are firm and bottoms are very lightly browned. Remove and cool on wire racks.

Glaze
 1 1/2 cups icing/powdered sugar               1/2 tsp vanilla
Milk   ~2 tablespoons                                 Food Coloring if desired.

In a medium mixing bowl stir together the icing sugar, vanilla and enough milk (try 2 tablespoons) to make mixture of glazing consistency. Spread the top of each cooled cookie with some of the glaze. Put on the sprinkles you want. Allow to dry before storing (approximately 1 hour).
Makes about 33, 1/4 inch  snowmen.

Merry Christmas and remember, Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

Make A Way

It's time to make a way for the love of God. It's time to lay aside the busyness of life and all the good things and pursue the best thing, which is God.  I'm preaching to myself now. LOL. I've got sugar cookies that need decorating and I'm supposed to go shopping in an hour.

Sound familiar?  So, I am not going to make  shortbread right now.  It will have to wait. And I've got a teaching tape playing as I type this.   I guess you can tell that I like to multi-task.

Have a great day with Him.  Lord, help us to stay in touch with you during our day.  Use us for Your Kingdom and I thank You in advance for divine orchestration of all our activities and meetings.

Bless  YOU!

We Recover All!

Who hasn't had anything stolen from them?  I mean this Christian life is not easy at times.  There have been lots of times when I wondered if I was ever going to reap the harvest on the seed I had sown.

So I was really happy when I got some teaching about recovery at a Wagner Leadership Institute course.
I was reading a book titled "The Worship Warrior, Ascending in Worship Descending in War"  by Chuck Pierce and with John Dickson and I got a song that goes with the text on Page 222.
May it bless you too!

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFwUlLhwO6M

Not bad eh?  I was recording the song and I was thinking, "What's the chorus?" and then it came.  You feel free to sing it anyway you want.  It's a real head ache around here trying to get it quiet enough to record so I left it as it was.
Here's the text I based the song on:
"-Recover lost and broken relationships (see Jer. 29:14).
-Recover your prophetic call (see Ps. 105:19).
-Recover delayed promises (see 2 Cor. 1:20).
-Recover the spirit and gift of faith (see Rom. 1:17, Ps. 23:3).
-Recover the miracle of healing (see Jer. 30:17).
-Recover your spiritual stability ( see Mal. 3:10, Ps. 129:8).
-Recover your financial stability (see 1 Sam. 7:11-14, 2 Chron. 20:6).
  -Recover joy (see Neh. 8:10).
-Recover wasted years (see Joel 2:25)
-Recover the lost sheep stolen from your pasture (see 1 Sam. 17:34-37; 30:20).
-Recover the blessings of God (see Deut. 28:1-4).
-Recover all (see 1 Sam. 30)."
"The Worship Warrior, Ascending in Worship Descending in War"  by Chuck Pierce and with John Dickson, Published by Regal, page 222-223. ISBN-13: 978-0-8307-3056-8

Let me pray for you now: "Lord I ask that you would give the precious person reading this the faith to believe that You are on their side and that You want them to recover all.  Show them how to posture themselves in praise and thanksgiving so nothing will stop people and angels from bringing the harvests in to them. Yes Lord, let their spiritual gates always be open to You in praise and adoration.  We give you all the glory for what You have already started to do in their lives. Amen!" (see Heb. 11:6, Is. 60:11, Ps. 24:6-10, Ps. 100:4).

Handling Disappointment

These are crazy times when jobs are disappearing and financial stress is at an all time high.  Families and marriages are feeling the pressure and people's love is being tested severely.

About two years ago the last thing I wanted to do was spend time in my room seeking God and waiting on Him. I was so disappointed at the way things turned out. You know how it is; your prayers didn't get answered the way you were expecting them to and you are left with an ache in your heart. And since God didn't do anything about it you feel, in some way, that He was willing for this to happen.

So I was avoiding my secret place, trying to keep busy and ignore the gnawing in my heart and emotions.  This melody kept coming to me in 'tongues' and I got the interpretation. May it bless your heart and help to heal you too.

The devil knows that if he can get you offended at God, he's cut you off from your source of healing. It is only in God's presence that we are transformed from glory to glory. (2Cor. 3:18)

God has promised that He will cause all things to work together for our good, even the pain and suffering we go through.(Rom 8:37)  It is said that if the devil knew what was going to happen to Jesus at the resurrection, he would never have allowed Jesus to die.

Therefore I want to encourage you to keep singing your pain to the Lord, but like David in the Psalms, end it off with a line or two of thanksgiving.   He inhabits your praise, so that's the fastest way to get the supernatural help of God working on your stuff.

And remember, He allows in His wisdom what He could easily prevent by His power.  He is making something beautiful out of your life!

The Eagles Are Moving Across Canada

God gave me a new song as I was worshiping  last Thursday. I had just gotten to my room when this song came.  Holy Spirit is happy with what's happening in Canada in the spirit realm.   Apparently spirit animals are assigned to us to help us fulfill the call of God on our lives.  Interesting.

Lord help us to discover what your plans for us are and give us the will and ability to fulfill them all, in Jesus' name we ask. Amen!

We Rule and Occupy the Gates

Psalm 24
The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it,
   the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
5 They will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
 7 Lift up your heads, you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
   The LORD strong and mighty,
   the LORD mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is he, this King of glory?
   The LORD Almighty—
he is the King of glory.

We, born again, spirit filled Christians are the living gates this psalm is talking about.  We choose by our words what is allowed in or out of the spiritual atmosphere around us. As we determine to use our mouths to utter His praises, the gates are open for the Angels to minister.  When we use our mouths to cut down, tear up and destroy we activate the devil's minions. The choice is ours.  I don't know about you, but I choose LIFE!

As the Bible says, "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:" (Deut. 30:19)  Also, Jesus said, " 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10) So the choice is ours.  I don't know about you, but when I learned this I started doing some heavy duty repenting for all the bad words I had spoken.  What a learning curve it is to speak words of life all the time! Thank God for grace and Holy Spirit's patient counsel. With out it we would all be sunk.

Anyhow, did you know that the Angels are happy when we start speaking words that make sense to them? They are waiting to hear God's words out of our mouths like it says in Psalm 103:20-21.  Psalm 91 and the Lord's prayer are great places to start.

See my blog article http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2010/06/how-many-angels.html
for more on angels.

Here's a song the Lord gave me to sing. I usually get it when the Lord wants me to take dominion over stuff.  Enjoy!

Psalm 149

Hi there.  This song came because a minister looked at me when he was autographing a book I purchased from him and wrote "Psalm 149" and his name. I saw that he wrote Psalm 15 in my girlfriend's book so I was intrigued by this type of prophetic word.  I came home and looked up the Psalm and got this song.
May it bless you!

‎"Let the HIGH praises of God be in our mouths and a two edged sword in our hands...
We bind every wicked king(in the spirit realm) in chains and nobles with fetters of irons.
We execute upon them the vengeance written from the Lord.
This honor have all his Saints."

Amen. Devils watch out! The Saints are waking up to their rights.  Hallelujah! Have fun!  We are on the winning side!

Bless you!
Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

P.S. Katie Souza  teaches about binding up wicked kings if you want to learn more. It's really good teaching.

Come And Sit with Me

I got this song about a year ago as I was attempting to to quiet myself to seek the Lord.  It was a progressive journey of learning to set aside good things to pursue the best-- which was Jesus.

Our days can get so busy that we forget  to take time to be quiet and hear His voice. Then before you know it the day is gone and you've missed another opportunity to hear from Heaven.  Before you know it the days turn into weeks and the weeks turn into months and you've forgotten what it was like to have Holy Spirit show up in your life.

I think Holy Spirit was trying to encourage me to seek Him.
Here's the little clip I did. Enjoy, and may you be encouraged to seek Him!

Computer Tech Day

What a day. Have you ever had one like that?  I sat at my computer for 5 hours trying to figure out how to get all the songs I have recorded onto my computer and in a format I could put on these pages to share with you.  I'm no slouch either.

The pocket recorder my husband got me for Christmas won't play on the PC.  We've tried buying software on line, to decode it, with no success, so now I am trying to record the songs on my Mac with Garage Band.

It was taking so long that I thought, "Forget trying to do a full arrangement for each song."  That really sped things up. I got about 20 done so far and I have a lot more to do.

You know what was the coolest thing?  I was getting a system down to record these little songs and then transfer them over to Itunes and while I was doing it I started to get drunk in Holy Spirit! It was so cool.  I was trying to be serious and my insides were feeling sloshed because He showed up!

Joshua Mills said that every new song releases a new level of Glory. Well I believe it.  Since I've been spending time seeking Him every day I have been getting lots of new songs.

Guess what? Blogger does not allow me to upload audio files! No problem, I'll just learn another computer application today. LOL. Too funny.

So below is my very first slide video. I grabbed the wrong cut of the song and the video cuts out at the end but hey, it's a start. Enjoy, and keep praying for me,LOL!

"Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him." (Is. 64:4)

Go On The Offensive

It really bugs me when I see Christians taking hits from the enemy and not thinking they can do anything about it.  I have been there and it's no fun.  So I have learned to do something different.

You heard right. I go on the offensive.  If I am having a spiritual battle then I go and deliberately bless people. If I am fighting on the financial front I go sow some extra seed and mess with the devil's kingdom. Smack him in the face with how good my God is. I sow in faith and pretend I'm the widow with the widow's mite. You cannot out give God.  He will not be anyone's debtor.

Now that's not the only thing I do. I start to do double duty on the word of God and MAKE time to hear His voice.  I also ask another intercessor to pray for me and see what they get.  It pays big time to stay under spiritual authority.

For example, yesterday I was fighting offense and frustration which I don't normally fight so I was praying in tongues a lot and watching my mouth to make sure I was speaking words of life.  My children wanted to go shopping at a big mall in Ottawa so I took them and stocked up on tracts  before I left. I asked the Lord to give me boldness to give them out and to show me  how and where.  Well  I handed out about 10 tracts to different people and left out another 30.  Smack in the devil's face!  People are getting touched and saved from the seed I sowed. I was able to pray for a man in a wheel chair and speak life and blessing over him.  His mind and body are getting healed in Jesus' name!

I got home to a phone message from a dear friend.  She called and was concerned about me as the Lord kept reminding her to pray for me.  We prayed together and asked the Lord to show me what was going on.

About half an hour later I was deliberately praising the Lord when it dawned on me that this attack had started after I laid hands on a friend.  I was getting all the stuff that was attacking her. Bingo! Now I knew how to fight.

I had a grand time praying for her and others and singing spontaneous songs to the Lord. Ha! He wins!

Going to bed I kept getting prodded and poked so I bound up the wicked king of witchcraft, Agag and the wicked king of curses, Balak using Psalm 149.  I got a measure of victory but I was still getting bugged in bed.  So I woke up my husband and I got him to agree with me that our whole family was getting a good night's sleep.(Prophesy the good you want)  Then I started to pray out loud for whoever came to mind because I figured they were probably under attack.   (It takes practice to discern who the word of knowledge is for. I should have asked right away instead of assuming the attack was against me.)  That broke it all off and the Saints and Cdn. Government leaders were protected too. (te-he)

We woke up refreshed this morning, Praise the Lord!  The word and the blood of Jesus work!

What I have learned I am giving to you freely because our time is short.  God needs us to be on the offensive and stopping the enemy, period. The blood of Jesus and the name, "Jesus" are so powerful and they are our most important weapons.  The other things to be aware of are the the power of your covenant with your spouse-  it's very dynamic, and the power of singing a new song.  All through the Psalms we read "sing a new song".  I believe that there is a direct correlation  between singing a new song and the victories we will have.

There you have it. I have given you some hard won nuggets that work in the trenches. Now you climb on my shoulders and reach for the stars.   God is waiting for us to make all His enemies His footstool. (Heb. 10:13) Let's get the job done so that the whole world will know who the Great God is and then go home.

Bless you with His joy--which is your strength, tenacity, perseverance and His grace to ask questions and believe you receive answers. Amen!

NOTHING Can Stop You

Yes that's the truth.  We are part of God's army and nothing can stop us if we are determined not to quit.  Holy Spirit is teaching us and we are learning to walk, climb and swing in the Spirit more and more.

My girlfriend came under attack when she got involved looking after a little boy who's mother and grandmother were occultists.  Well, let me tell you, it's been a learning experience.

God allows in His wisdom what He could easily prevent by His power.  We know that as truth.  All creation awaits the revealing the sons and daughters of God that it might be delivered from it's bondage.  So it behooves us to grow up in faithfulness so that we can steward more of Heaven's resources. (Rom. 8:21, Matt. 25:21-23)

I want to say that we are childlike in our faith and innocent in regard to evil. (ref. 1Cor. 14:20) Also, we are growing in the fruit of self-control because Holy Spirit has been saying that we need to speak to our mornings every day and not be wishy-washy about it anymore.  (ref. Gal. 5:22-23 Job. 22:28)

These are days where discipline is required if we want to move ahead. No soldier decides day by day if he is going to be a soldier. While he is enlisted he is there- no deliberations allowed.  The same should be true of us.

Also, Holy Spirit says I have to get better at throwing out faith bombs at the enemy's camp... before there is an attack.   I am willing to live by the fruit of my lips (with lots of grace).  I ask Holy Spirit to show me quickly where I might have said wrong words and then I repent quickly and speak words of life.  I am growing in this and so can you!

My Bible says, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. " (Matt. 5: 44-45).

Only fools would try to curse a son or daughter of the Living God so I ask the Lord to have mercy on them, because they do not realize what they are doing.  They don't realize that "NO  undeserved curse will land on the righteous." (Proverbs 26:2).  Even if you don't think you are righteous at this moment,  Jesus took all your curse so you could have all His righteousness (Gal. 3:13)

Therefore, since we don't fight flesh and blood, we bless them many times what they have dealt out. You see, blessing them declares God's sovereignty over their lives and puts  coals on their heads, figuratively (Prov. 25:22).  And then we confound every plan of the enemy directed towards our lives or the lives of those we pray for. Ha!  That's how to take dominion and enforce our victory. (Gen. 1:26, Heb. 10:13)

The good news is that my girlfriend and her family are protected now and God is turning the situation around for good.  However, it appears that some intercessors have fallen back, probably because they came under attack.  It's important that we pray for each other as intercessors.  We are so important.  We are the back bone of the Kingdom of God! Nothing happens without prayer--nothing!

Holy Spirit told me to "Sing my future in the morning." Imagine, I will be singing a new song (which He loves) and prophetically decreeing what I have now, all at the same time (Ps. 149:1, Job 22:28-30).  Sounds like a winning combination to me.

I learned from Joshua Mills that every new song brings a new realm of glory with it. Hallelujah!
So here goes. Let me share what I have learned over the years.

To get comfortable singing the new song over yourself, take something that the Lord has been asking you to work on, for example; patience, strength, joy or peace and sing that you have it in any familiar melody you know.  The melody can be  "Three blind mice", or "Jesus' loves me".  Give it a try and sing the same line till you have it figured out then sing a slightly different line for a while. It will bless your heart I'm telling you!

That is how it starts. As you get better, you will get different melodies and you might even get bridges or verses to go with your choruses.

Here is one chorus I got a few days ago.

"My job is to praise You, yea my job is to praise You.
I don't look at the natural,  I look in the Spirit,
'cause my job is to praise You."

Have fun. I decree that no weapon formed against you prospers, In Jesus' Name and every tongue that has risen up against you in judgment is condemned, now!  I speak life to you physically, mentally, spiritually and financially.  I call in blessings from Heaven over you and speak to Heaven's angels to guard and keep you in all your ways.  I ask the Lord to go ahead of you and prepare the way for you today that you might walk worthy of the calling He has given you.
-I declare that you walk in His favor today with all people  and that you have His joy and peace in your journey. I decree an open Heaven around you today and an ease in conversing with Holy Spirit  today and boldness to give away what you have freely received.
- I decree that the blood of Jesus is a shield around you and your family protecting you from every curse and that you are growing in faithfulness to the Lord.  We give you all the glory Lord for what you are doing! Amen.

Last Night Ministering, (written Nov. 27, 2010)

 Myspace Graphics
Myspace Graphics, God Graphics at WishAFriend.com

Hi Saints.  Something unusual happened last night during the ministry time at our Friday night healing service so I thought I would attempt to share what happened.

I was sitting between two ladies in the front row of the church sharing some destiny words that the Lord had given me when one lady noticed that a leader  was waving me over to come help him.

I excused myself and went over to help him and he told me to put my hand on the lady's lower back.  I started to pray for her and got  the giggles almost immediately because she wasn't receiving the anointing we were 'pulling in' for her. (Hang on, I will explain.)

I told this leader that there was a blockage and asked the Lord what to do and He told me "thankfulness".  I didn't get the opportunity to talk to her as the other fellow was talking.   We weren't getting very far as this blockage had her cut off from Heaven's flow.

The leader eventually left and I still had my hand on her back. Another man was praying for her and the Lord gave me a detailed word for him.  He was so excited that it affected the lady, who I think was his wife. She turned to face me and I was able to give her a word of knowledge from God's heart and I could see it softening her heart.  I then felt the Lord prompt me to share about choosing to be thankful.

I shared by way of example, "Thank You Lord that my feet don't hurt. Thank You Lord that my head doesn't hurt. Thank You Lord that I have shoes to wear. Thank You Lord for my wonderful husband and my beautiful children. Thank You Lord that I have a bed to sleep in."

As I was sharing this, God's presence showed up and her back got mightily touched and she started to move it around, from side to side and started talking really fast in an Asian language. She was so excited!

I explained to her how the Lord inhabits the praises of his people and that we enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise". (Psalm 16:11, Psalm 100:4)   The Lord's presence backed off a bit while I shared this, so I started giving thanks again and a thick, tingly weight of God's glory came down on the three of us.

Talk about the Lord confirming the word that was spoken! I was rejoicing last night because some times I have shared the word and not felt His presence confirming it with signs and wonders.

These are new days.  I was so encouraged to keep going.  I asked the Lord to help me share with boldness outside of church again and He told me that if I would stay in thankfulness and praise that the anointing would flow wherever I was.  Hallelujah!   Now, we know that the Lord is 'no respecter of persons', so what He has told me will apply to your life too.  (ref. Acts. 10:34) Therefore, I exhort to stay thankful and claim that His anointing flows through you every day.

Now go and expect Him to do mighty things through you! Bless you as you pursue Him for more in your life!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale

Kitchen Volcanoes and Such Like

Hi there.  I just had to tell you what happened yesterday.  I was all proud of myself for my new recipe idea to use these apples I froze and so I made up the recipe again yesterday.

The apples were such a good idea that I thought well more would be better and I wasn't sure how much lemon juice I had added the first time so I thought I'll measure it this time.   Four tablespoons looked good so I added that, mixed it all up and forgot to taste test along the way, never mind ask the Lord what He thought about the whole thing.

Well,  the timer went off and imagine my surprise to see a mini volcano cake in the oven.  Here's a picture of it.

Good thing is, my kids are not put off by my experiments and it's more than half gone as I write this to you.

Talk about a lesson in humility (snort).   The awesome cook, Brenda, just got taken down a peg or two by an apple cake.  So my hint of advice is always ask the Lord questions along the way and taste test before you add more lemon juice!

Have a great day with Him, knowing that He's laughing along with you at your foibles and He's always available for consultation along the way.

Here is a pic of the cake I made this morning.  Can you tell I asked the Lord what to do along the way?  It pays to stay humble and ask Him for help. LOL.

Innovation

Hi there.  I want to share about something the Lord has been challenging me on.  In Ephesians 3:20 we read that God has promised "to do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond all that we can think, dream or imagine" so I have been asking the Lord for new ideas and witty solutions for my family. Then as my faith and confidence grow, I want to believe for bigger ideas and solutions for my town and area.

The first solution I got was for a problem we have around here with hanging up laundry.  Don't laugh, it can be quite a headache because my hubby hates when we use the clothes dryer.  I have close lines strung across my living room, dining room and exercise room as I speak and I still run out of space to hang up all the socks and underwear that five of us can accumulate.

I was thinking to myself as I was hanging up clothes that I would have to buy one of those racks that you can hang clothes on and I thought, "Ask the Lord."

He caused me to look at the wooden baby gate we have installed in one room and it 'dawned' on me that if I stretched out that baby gate, it would look just like a rack.  I stretched out that gate and put some socks and underwear on it and was tickled pink at how well it worked.

I told the kids about it when they came home and they thought it was an improvement and my hubby thought it was a great idea since I wouldn't be using the dryer.  We have wood heat so the clothes dry quickly.

The second new innovation I got was a neat twist on a recipe.  I froze many bags of peeled, sliced and diced apples when they were coming off the trees this summer. The only problem is that they are very wet when thawed and don't work well in a lot of the recipes that call for diced apples.  So I asked the Lord what recipe would work tonight to use up these apples.

I 'happened' to notice a pineapple cake recipe in my recipe box that my kids love.  I was thinking this is such a great recipe and then it occurred to me that I might be able to use some lemon juice to increase the accidity of the apples to get the recipe to work.  Well, a little here and a little there while I am asking Holy Spirit questions and I got the recipe in the oven.   The recipe turned out so well that my gang  all commented on how good it was. Praise the Lord!

It is amazing how much the Lord wants to be involved in our lives.  He cares about all the details we care about.  I sure am encouraged to ask Him more questions.  I hope you are too.

Lord help the person reading this to hear and trust Your voice more clearly today. May they have Joy in their journey and peace when they lie down tonight, in Jesus' name! Amen.

Update on Waiting on the Lord

Hi there... It's been almost 40 days since I started this new habit of waiting on the Lord at least one hour daily.  It's been a challenge with me working 50 hours a week lately, but God has given me grace and my husband has been a huge help.

So I want to tell you the exciting things that have been happening around here.
First of all, I have noticed that when I walk upstairs I can sence Heaven and the Lord's touch. I  get His holy laughter, which is a miracle in itself as I am prone to tears in His presence.

Then a week or so ago the Lord led me to read Revelation 10 and told me that this mighty angel is the one I have been sensing around me at certain times.  He's been such a comfort and he really likes it when I speak God's word.

Third, I've been able to nail the spirit attacking this lady at work.  She's got a mean, mean mouth and likes to complain about people.  At first I was able to bind the spirit of Jezebel; complaining, manipulation, envy and jealousy and then on Thursday it didn't work.  I was like "Lord, what's up?" I knew this spirit must be hiding behind another 'strong man'  spirit but I didn't know which one.

The Lord told me it was a viper spirit.  I didn't know much about them so I just bound it and then looked it up when I got home.   Remember the Pharisees?  Well, Jesus called them a brood of vipers... with  the master spirit of Beelzebub.  Bingo! That's my clue.  My girlfriend also mentioned that I should bind the "queen of Heaven" a territorial spirit.  Don't know much about that one yet.  I'll ask the Lord. The Lord told me to be aware of a scapegoat spirit that always wants to make me a punching bag or a fall guy for the person.  Good thing to be aware of.

So Friday morning on my way to work, after worshiping and enjoying God's presence,  I started to command my morning. I loosed Angels to bind those wicked kings that the Lord showed me (Ps. 149) and then I decreed camaraderie and joy in the journey for our group.  I claimed the whole team for the Kingdom of God, all of them.

What a difference! This stuff works!  The Lord was really happy with me and another Christian and myself were able to shine brightly the presence of the Lord.

Let that encourage you.   It's always worthwhile to spend time with the Lord.  Sometimes I play the piano for Him, sometimes I read my bible,  sometimes I just sing and then wait on Him.  Holy Spirit will lead you, just like He leads me.

I decree that His word out of your mouth is 'like a fire and a hammer that breaks the rocks into pieces!" (Jer. 23:29) Amen! (So be it!)

My Friends

Friends are so important, don't you think?  I have a few good friends that I can call anytime and they will help me with emotional and spiritual support.  It's so nice to know that you have people who believe in you.

My girlfriend wants me to write a book about how to make time to seek God.  What a nice compliment!  I am no pro, that's for sure, but I could probably fill a book with all my bloopers. I can't repeat a joke properly to save anything so I won't even try, but my friends laugh when I mention my daily antics with the job, kids and farm. I am so glad I don't have to try to be somebody I am not.

So, my thought for the day is pray for your friends and be yourself.  God loves us so much for who we are and not for what we can do. Hallelujah! His love sets us free to be ourselves and all that He's dreamed for us.

I bless you with an open Heaven today. May you have His abiding presence with you today.  May you comprehend all the good things He has laid up for you in Heavenly places and may you learn how to pull them down by faith. In Jesus' name I ask.  Amen!

Update

Hi there.  It has been over 21 days since I started this endeavor to seek His face and has it been interesting.  You never realize how many distractions there are until you decide to lay them all aside for the best thing.

On a good note, His presence around my life has been increasing.  There have been many new songs, many new revelations and an ease I have found to staying in His presence while I work or look after my children and other responsibilities.

The Lord asked me to fast idle words a few weeks ago.  That has been a little more difficult.  I didn't realize how careful I have to be to think before I speak.   This precludes mouthing off when upset of course.  I am not done learning how to master my reactions in any and all circumstances.

I want to say emphatically that pursuing Jesus in your quiet place is so worth it!  In fact an hour a day is not enough!  I was just told by somebody on Friday that I am now going in a new direction. He had no idea that I was on a secret mission.  How cool is that?  Breakthroughs are abounding on the family front, for my friends and for those I pray for while on the ministry team at church.  It has been a very good investment in time.

So that is why I am not posting much these days.  I will have lots to catch up on... someday.

Bless you!
Big hugs and blessings in Jesus' name!

Remember When...

Remember when I treated your children like my own, when they came over.
Remember when my family helped you move and no one else would.
Remember when my daughter babysat your kids so you could work in the store.
Remember when I prayed for you, when you were sick and Jesus healed you.
Remember when I shared my food with you and you shared your food with me and we both laughed about it.
Remember that I am a friend, not an 'infidel' or something you have been taught to exterminate.
And lastly -- remember that I love you... friend.

"...And the greatest of these is 'love'", love which never, ever fails. (1Cor. 13:13, 8)  I am claiming this family for the Kingdom of God.  The kids love Veggie Tales and appreciate getting out of their tiny, two bedroom apartment and coming out to our farm.  God is working in a great way.   People of other faiths love getting dreams and visions so  I have been praying for them to get some. LOL.

Hmmm, maybe I am wrong, but I have noticed that when they are in the minority they are great people.  It is only when they are the majority that they start to try to force their religious laws on others.

We have the greatest weapons though. No religious spirit can stand against Love, Hallelujah! (2 Cor. 10:4-5, Eph 6: 10-20)
Bless you... in Jesus' Name!

Reality Bites

Reality bites for today.
We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2Cor. 5:21)
Our old nature is dead. Rom. 6,7
Wherever there is great love, there are great miracles.
We are seated with him in Heavenly places. (Eph. 2:6)
We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus, the anointed one and His anointing. (ref. Eph 1:3)
The anointing we have received abides in us and will never leave. (1John 2:21-27)

For too long people have been trying to visit Heaven, or have a supernatural experience. That is like trying to get into a chair you are already seated in. Talk about a frustrating time. The  reality is that we are already sitting in it! (ref. Eph. 2:6)

God inhabits the praises of His people.  Therefore as I make the choice to make praise and thanksgiving a habit during my day the manifest presence of God which is Heaven starts to show up right here.

Repent for anything that might have caused you to sin and fall short of the glory of God. Plead the blood of Jesus and His glory will cover you again.

Did you get that?  That's why God doesn't want us to sin.  It causes us to fall short of the glory of God.  He wants us in the glory.  He's not trying to keep us out! He wants us to learn how to walk in the glory while we are doing our thing here on earth.   We've prayed it so long, "Your kingdom (glory) come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

There is no time in the Glory.  When God shows you something it's yours.  Don't put off receiving it by saying, "One day I'll be Your  minister" for example.   Claim it now.

One time I saw a big treasure chest on a beach and I heard the Lord tell me to go open it.  I opened it and there were gifts in it for me.  So I started thanking God for my gift that I would receive.  Wrong!  Better to thank Him for the gifts He has given you now.   There is no time in the glory so don't put off receiving anything Holy Spirit shows you.  It might take you a while to get the revelation of who you are in the Spirit realm,  so start now.

We have been made righteous.  It's not about doing all the stuff to get clean.  No where does the sacrifice have to clean itself before it can be used!  That's the bosses job!  In the same way when we offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to the Lord it's his job to clean us up! (Ref. Rom. 12:1-2)

In Zech. 3: 1-7 we see that Joshua the high priest got a new garment as soon as he showed up.  We do too as soon as we enter his presence with our praise and worship.  Just receive it by faith!

Bless you as you start to walk by faith, believing that Your Heavenly Father wants supernatural experiences for you.  He's no respector of persons.  So put on the worship music and praise and thank Him for a while. Repent as He leads to restore your fellowship with Him and then ask Him what He wants to show you.  Close Your eyes and see what He shows you in your imagination.  Enjoy! You know by faith that if you ask for bread, your Heavenly father will not give you a fish.  He is forever faithful!

You are blessed and highly favored!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

Idle Words Part 2

Hi there.  I have been trying to fast, negative, doubtful, idle words the past few days  and it's challenging at times.  With God though, all things are possible.  (ref. Mark 10:27)

I was reading in James, chapter 3:1-6 today and  it says that the tongue;
-is a fire
-is a world of evil.
-it sets the whole course (destiny) of a person's life on fire (destroys it.) For example words like, "I'll never..., you always... )
-is set on fire by hell.

I'm going to turn this around to work for me by declaring:

-Thank You Jesus that my tongue is edifying my whole body, soul and spirit.
-My tongue is setting the course of my life  to have Glory and Heaven right here, right now because I am already seated with him (Jesus) in Heavenly places. (Eph. 2:6)
- Thank You Lord that I am a Heavenly Being right here, right now, full of glory and signs and wonders.
-Thank You Lord that my tongue speaks words of blessing, encouragement, love, hope and destiny.
-Thank You Jesus that my tongue is on fire for God alone. (opposite of James 3:6)

That will help us immensely.  We are the captains of our own lives you know.  You believe what you say about yourself more than you believe what other people say about you.  That's why it's so important to speak good things over yourself.  You start speaking the Word of God, which is supernatural, over yourself and you will have a supernatural life.  (ref. Is. 55:7-12, 2Pet.1:3-8) Every promise from God is infused with supernatural power that has the ability to change  you, if you will put it to work.  So work with God and don't let your boat sink!

Bless you, in Jesus' name!

Idle Words

A few days ago as I was talking to the Lord in the car,  I got the song from the Lord, "I will fast and I will pray,  that You'd touch our hearts afresh Lord..."  so I asked the Lord if He wanted me to fast a bit.
"Yes, He replied, "from idle words."

Ok.  That's harder than a food fast, but with Holy Spirit's help I can do this.  No more idle, inactive, doubt filled words.
To help I've been building myself up in the Word. Here are some of the thankful confessions that I have used over the years:

Thank You Lord that I am quick to hear, slow to speak and very slow to get angry or offended. (James 1:19)
Thank You Lord that there is a huge guard on my mouth and tongue. (ref. Ps. 141:3)
Thank You Lord for setting a watch over the words of my mouth. (ref. Ps. 141:3)
Thank You that words of healing pour out of me.
Thank You Lord that the law of kindness is in my mouth. (Prov. 31:26)
Thank You Lord that only words of love, grace,  mercy and power flow out of me.
Thank You Lord that I build myself up in my most Holy faith by praying in tongues more.(Jude 23)
Thank You Lord that I edify myself by singing psalms and hymms and by making melody in my heart to the Lord. (ref. Col. 3:16, Eph. 5:19)
Thank You Lord that I think and speak about whatever is good, noble, praiseworthy, pure, lovely, encouraging and excellent. (ref. Phil 4:8)
Thank You Lord that I, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."(Eph. 4:29)

I am going to go over my scripture confessions every day to help build better habits.  I have come a long way in the last few years and Holy Spirit is happy. Hallelujah!  I believe we are going to see the Word of God become so powerful out of our mouths that miracles will happen before our eyes.  To that end I  press on, for the High calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Bless you as you pursue Him for more in Your life.  May we always be hungry for more of You, Lord! Amen.

Seeking God Update

Well, it's  two weeks today and it's getting easier and easier to set aside time to seek the Lord.
A couple of times the Lord's laughter bubbled up inside me even before I sat down in my room.  Another time I got the "Wedding March" song as I walked up stairs.

I have the assurance that He is working while I wait on him (Is. 64:4)  My house hasn't fallen apart either! LOL.  I was a teensy bit concerned about that, I must admit.  With three teenagers and all of us busy, it can get pretty chaotic around here.

So please be encouraged by my little testimony.  It is always worth while to set aside time for Him.  I can't go into all the breakthroughs I have seen so far because I want to protect people's privacy, but trust me-- it's worth it all.  He's worth it all!

I was so encouraged to hear that the National House of Prayer (www.nhop.ca) is asking all Canadian Christians to pray and fast this month, on behalf of Canada.  God's on the move! Revival come now, in Jesus' Name!

Let me bless you now: "Lord I decree that the person reading this article right now, is precious in Your sight and has a special destiny in You.  May they know Your joy that passes understanding.  Bless them as they try to put You first in their lives and make time to seek Your heart.  Give them an oasis of Your presence in their homes like You've done for me. In Jesus' name I ask. Amen!"

Work Ministry

(pic from www.avadirect.com)
Lots of times I don't know what to do to help bring in His glory at work.  I'm working away, singing to the Lord or listening to my ipod and I'll get a revelation so I scribble it down to meditate on it later.

If I don't get any words of knowledge before lunch, I'll ask the Lord if I should go to the store to give out tracts or talk to someone in the lunch room.  There's always something we can do.   Then in the afternoon, I'll pray for the people that got tracts or that I talked to.

There's this prevailing attitude that work is work and ministry is ministry,  however, I have noticed that the people around me are very quick to express their preference for music and say "Jesus" in a derogatory way. So, when I hear someone gasp because of pain I can't help but pray and rebuke the condition.  Love compels me to do something.

You know, we must let love lead us and not be afraid of what people will say or do.  Fear can paralyze us to the point where we are not effective at all.

The bottom line is that we must die daily.  That is what it means to be a living sacrifice. We are His hands and feet and His blessing wherever we are. (Rom 12:1-2,  Eph 2:10, Gal 3:13-14)

I can vouch for the fact that the Lord specializes in delivering power.  You see, I once worked at a place where they loved it when I got words of knowledge about bad product on skids.  It saved the company thousands of dollars in rework costs. I had the freedom to follow the Lord's leading and I can't tell you how many times I would show up at a production line just as something wrong was happening or had just happened.

The only thing is, they didn't want people getting saved. I was even told to leave my God at home by one supervisor. This guy had no idea what he was asking me to do.

Anyhow, the Lord fixed it all up, because this guy's mother got very sick with pancreatitis and  I waited till the Lord said to go talk to him.  Many weeks later, he was despairing because the doctors were going to put her into palliative care.  I happened to ask him about his mother and he told me his tale of woe.

I asked him, "Do you mind if I pray for her now?" (They had no hope at all at this point.)

"No, not at all." was his response.

Can you guess what happened? She was home, healed within a week or two. She got her miracle and that supervisor now knows who the King of Kings is.  It's Jesus!

God has always raised up supporters for me whenever persecution has come and if you ask Him, He'll do the same for you. So go be a witness for him.  Don't let His precious blood be wasted another day. He died so that you could be endued with His miracle working power and be a light wherever you go. Go make Your Heavenly Daddy proud.

Let me bless you now. "Lord, show us how we can make a difference every day.  We decree, that Your love is shed abroad in our hearts today and that we walk worthy of the calling to which You have called us.  Thank You Lord that we walk in the anointing we have attained and we don't slip back.  We expect divine appointments today and we are looking for Heavenly treasure everywhere we go.  We walk in love, faith and boldness.  Thank You that we always have supporters and Your wisdom to know how to answer people. Amen!" (Rom. 5:5, Eph. 4:1, Phil. 3:16, Eph 2:10, 2Cor. 5:18-20, Prov 28:1, 1Pet. 3:15, Acts, 4:21-33, Luke 21:11-19)

Big hugs,

Random Thoughts on Glory, Dust and Pursecution

(pic is from www.wallpaper4god.com)
Let us be joyful in the glory and the beauty which God Almighty  confers upon us; let us sing for joy upon our beds. ( Psalm 149:5)

It's hard to sing lying down.  Can you imagine how joyful this person was that it was erupting out of them in bed?  It's hard to sleep after you have been praising the Lord. LOL.  I love nights like that!

God's bestowing glory on us.  I wonder what that looks like? Sometimes I can see sparkles in my eyes after I've been worshiping.  Have you ever checked after you've been praising and worshiping?  I want to be a sign and a wonder for Him.

I have to admit, I had a hard time with the glory dust at first.  I had to keep asking God, "Is this You?"  The Lord is very gracious and kept witnessing to me that yes it was Him.  I was even more settled when I heard that Joshua and Janet Mills have been banned from 3 cleaners because of the glory dust.  Apparently, it doesn't want to come off of their clothes and it has even spread to the furnishings of one  dry cleaners. Talk about being a sign to the proprietors!

That clinched it for me because persecution always follows God's signs. I know I sure got my fair share of persecution when I was street preaching and doing destiny words on Sparks Street, Ottawa.

I guess the best thing to do is keep pressing in for God's heart and fight unbelief with the light we've been given.  If it's God I want it all. I can't remember how many times I asked the Lord to make me a sign and a wonder  because the people would try to ignore me or walk by when I was street preaching. They were not moved to action. We need to ask to be signs and wonders in our day.  There are just too many distractions in this life and when reality hits them, it could be too late.

I have seen where a person's heart became hardened because they kept postponing the decision to open the door to Jesus.  This fellow was in a hospital bed, in Palative care, next to the fellow God had sent me in to get out.  The man I was sent to, (let's call him Joe)  asked me if I could do something about his room mate because all he did was moan.

I went over to him as requested and saw a strong man, moaning and groaning in the bed, unable to communicate because he had had a stroke and part of his mind was gone.  I didn't know what to do. It was so pathetic.  (This was many years ago when I was just learning about authority and healing)

The Lord told me to sing, "Jesus loves you."  I didn't even get half way through the first chorus and he had settled down. That poor man was being tormented.  I had a flash vision of him putting off Jesus, over and over again and now he was being told it was too late. He was in a prison of his own, unresponsive flesh and mind, scarred by the strokes etc. that he had gone through.

I sang, "Amazing Grace" to him next and the whole room became quiet as God's presence permeated the atmosphere.  I felt to speak grace over him so I did. I declared that it wasn't too late, that God hears the cry of the heart, especially when the body is in a prison.

That's another reason why I don't want to miss any opportunities. How many people around us are in prisons of their own minds or bodies?  Selah (pause and think about it).

Thank You Lord for making us Your signs and wonders to help us get the good news out. Thank You for giving us boldness and wisdom to take advantage of every situation;  to share the good news and to introduce the people to Jesus.  We give you all the glory in advance. Amen!

Quick Check List for Words of Knowledge

Hi Saints.   I keep meeting Christians who are unaware of how words of knowledge work so I'm going to give you a power packed,  in depth list to help you.

First of all,  all of us have had a word of knowledge at some point in our lives. The problem is we didn't recognize it.  You can feel it when you walk into a room where an argument is going on.  The people might be quiet but you are picking up on the spiritual ambiance.

The second time is when there are people around you with colds, sneezing and coughing.  All of a sudden your throat starts to get sore or you start to sniffle.  Yes, that's a word of knowledge. It takes 24 to 48 hours for a cold virus to incubate in your body so why the instant sniffles?   God wants you to pray for others.  Freely you have received, freely give.  (Matt. 10:8)

The biggest clue to recognizing a word of knowledge as it comes to your various senses, is that you didn't have it a few minutes ago.  The best thing you can do is ask Holy Spirit, "Is this for me or for somebody else?" As you get better (with practice) at discerning the various words of knowledge around,  you will be able to ask who is it for and the Lord will give you more details.

Keep praying in tongues and stay in thanksgiving and praise so that your spiritual gate will not be shut.  We are the living gates of Psalm 24 after all.

You might get a different sensation for a particular sickness than I do and that's okay.  Just keep asking Holy Spirit questions and realize that you are the Lord's hands and feet in this world right now.  Rebuke the sickness, cast the spirit out into dry places, in Jesus' name  and declare, "You are healed in Jesus' name," then claim them for the Kingdom of God. ( Job. 22:28, 1 Pet. 2:24, Luke 18:19, Matt. 12:43) Finally, remember it takes on average eight witnesses for a person to get saved.  Your word of knowledge is an important part of God's effort to get them saved, healed and delivered.

So here's my list:

-Sniffles or an itchy nose = a cold virus.

-sore throat  = sore throat from a cold or from singing, preaching too long.

-a pain under my right arm pit = cancer (to me) from when I fought off breast cancer curse in my early thirties.

-people with moving pain symptoms = spirit of infirmity.  Loose angels to get rid of it.

-sudden desire for someone for no reason (visual, sensual)  = spirit of lust

-Pin pricks on the top of my head = witchcraft.  Break any and all  curses (Is 54:17),    using Psalm 149: especially verses 6-9) Loose angels to take them out.

-sudden sharp pain in my ear= somebody telling lies or an ear infection.

-Brain fog, sudden loss of words = curse or witchcraft,  (Bind wicked king,  Balak using Psalm 149 and your angels)  This Happens a lot to street preachers and ministers. The enemy is trying to stop the anointed word from getting out.

-People dozing in the service = Spirit of religion.  Decree that they are hungry for the Word and alert to receive.  Can be a hot room or it's a spirit attacking, religion lethargy and complacency... especially if you notice that after you pray for some people, others in a different area of the church start to doze.

-Any sudden body pain =  word of knowledge for somebody in the vicinity or it can be for a loved one. Ask the Lord questions to help you pin point it.

-Arguing, fighting = strife, spirit of contention and fighting.

-Cynicism, superiority, disdain = spirit of pride, criticism  (leviathan spirit).

-People misunderstanding me or twisting what I say = spirit of leviathan. Loose your angels to take care of things.  Decree that the plans of the enemy are confounded in your life.  Decree that You walk in God's favor all the time,  You are a blessing everywhere you go.

-Hypocritical people criticizing those who try to act on the Word.= religious spirit, Haman or Pharaoh  are the strong men.  Loose your angels and tell the enemy where he can go.

-Sharp pain in an eye= can be a physical word for someone or it can be a blinding spirit to keep you from revelation.  Also, cockatrice spirit operates this way.

-Head ache pain = Can be physically caused but also, unforgiveness, bitterness, oppression or Jezebel spirit attacking. Keep a short account with the Lord.  He wants you to stay in His presence and not to fall short of His glory.  Also watch judgmental words spoken against leadership in particular.

-Sudden heaviness or negative thoughts  when you were happy a minutes before = someone around you might be struggling with depression or oppression.  Decree  that sighing and sorrow must flee away.  You have been given Joy in His presence,  and your cup runs over.  (Is. 35:10,  John 15:11, Luke 10:21, Psalm 23:5)  Claim that  the Lord's oil of joy would overflow in your/their lives. (Is. 61:3)

-Sudden flash of blackness or hopeless feeling = spirit of suicide or a death curse.  Break it and speak life over the person. Get their angels activated.

-Pain around my heart = heart problems most of the time but it's also been a spirit of death Holy Spirit wants me to rebuke.  Also, get their angels going to help them out.

There are probably more words of knowledge that I have come across, but this will get you started.  The most important thing I can advise you to do is stay humble.  Ask the Lord what it is, who is it for and what He would like you to do with it.  As you can tell... I am  the Lord's question box and He's never, ever gotten upset with me for asking questions. What He's done for me He will do for you because He is no respecter or persons. (Acts 10:34)

Finally, make sure you bind any retaliation, backlash or transference of spirits after you pray for anybody. Keep your armor on (Eph 6), plead the blood of Jesus over yourself, practice speaking good words (Phil 4:8) and keep the praise coming out of your mouth. (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16) That makes you pretty well invincible, Hallelujah!

I Bless you, in Jesus' name; physically, spiritually, mentally and financially.  Lord, help this precious person to hear and recognize the words of knowledge around them and give them wisdom what to do with them. Give them the anointing You've given me, please. (If you were here I would lay my hands on you and impart to you, to accelerate your growth)  I declare that you do have lots of joy in your journey with the Lord. Amen and Amen!
