Prayers to Release Trauma

Very interesting subject....

Trauma causes us to lose a part of ourselves to the past-- to the traumatic event.

Symptoms of trauma can be an inability to get to sleep, or a rough time staying asleep, a struggle to make important decisions or to move forward with your life just to name a few.

Jim Banks has a great teaching about trauma and he prays for you at the end.  Well worth the listen!

Enjoy this and may you find healing so you can finish your course well!

Healing delayed?

Hi there....
I have got a good testimony to share with you. I stubbed my toe a while back and I keep reinjuring it.  No fun when it's my right foot and I drive approximately 6-8 hours a day.

Aliss Crisswell  has some great teaching about this. I made notes from her Youtube video.   She says that when  a condition doesn't respond to Healing prayer often there is a demon behind it and we need to deal with that.

So here's my summery of her teaching:
First we come out of agreement with this condition.  For example, "Lord forgive me for coming into agreement with the evil spirit causing my sprained or broken toe"  We don't even realize we are coming into agreement with it sometimes!  It can be as simple as taking some pain medication or telling others that we jammed our toe on the furniture!

Second, we command the evil spirit to go, In Jesus' Name!  Then we on purpose breath in Holy Spirit and breath out the demon and command it to leave and not bother anyone else but go straight to Jesus.

Also,  if you have someone that will agree with you get them to put a hand on your shoulder and command the spirit to leave immediately while you do the breath in Holy Spirit thing.

I want to tell you that I did this last night for my toe and it worked!  I've been praying for this toe for weeks and I put in a request for healing to a healing team a week ago and still the pain would get agonizing at times if I had to bend my toe at all.  I got mad and started praying for healing for so many people and I would not give up!

Hallelujah!  It pays to not give up! I am so grateful.  I wasn't even looking for anything about my toe,,, just learning about angels and their ministry when this video came up on the playlist and had Aliss Crisswell teaching on it.  How awesome is our God!!!   Now I can go walk my dogs for as long as I want!  Praise the Lord!

Anyhow, I hope this can help you too!  It pays to not give up.  God will get the revelation to you somehow if you keep seeking. I'm proof of that!

Have a great day!

Word and Spirit Balance

I had a great time on the weekend with a whole bunch of believers.  Holy Spirit was moving and we all got blessed.
As great as the spiritual visions and revelations are I want to encourage all believers to develop a rock solid foundation in the word of God.  You might ask why?  It's because there is supernatural power in the word of God to bring itself to pass in a believer's life.

"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. "(1Pet. 1:3-4)

God wants us to walk like Jesus on the earth and this is the process.  We behold him in the word and we see stuff in us that we don't like. Instead of saying "I'm not going to do that anymore" and then fall when stressed, we want to replace it with a new, good habit.

For example, let's say that I had a problem criticizing people and I realize that this is not pleasing to the Lord.  Then I want to reprogram my mind to react differently to the stimulus.  I can do this by decreeing God's word, "Thank you Lord that  I am full of the fruit of the spirit. I am quick to hear, slow to speak and very slow to become angry or offended."   This is how we transform our minds and it is a daily process. (ref. Gal 5:23, James 1:19)

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. "(2Pet. 1:5-8)

As we add God's promises to our lives, they will root out bad habits and change us from the inside out. This is how we renew our minds. (ref. Rom. 12:1-2)  This is how we become effective and productive in our knowledge of Jesus Christ, the anointed one and his anointing.

Another reason why we don't just want to live off of our visions, feelings or dreams is because the Lord didn't.  When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness he didn't respond to the devil with, "Well, I had this great vision saying that I was the son of God."  No,  he responded with, "It is written..."  (Matt.4:4,6,10)
If Jesus resisted the devil this way then we should too.

Here are some confessions that I wrote in 2000.  Feel free to use whichever ones will help you.

-Thank you Lord that no foul or polluting language comes out of my mouth but only speech that is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it. (ref. Eph. 4:29)
-Thank you Lord that we are developing an attitude of gratitude and it will raise our altitude.
-Thank you Lord that we don't offend anyone in speech, that we are becoming fully developed in character, able to control our whole bodies and to curb our entire nature. (James 3:2)

-Thank you Father that through Jesus I constantly and at all times offer up to you a sacrifice of praise. (Heb. 13:15)
Oh Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer. (Ps. 19:14)

-Thank You Lord so much for putting a guard on my mouth and tongue so that I will be kept from troubles. (Prov. 21:23)
-Thank you Father that I can sow good seed into my life and into other people's lives. Please lead me by your spirit to pray and say the right words so we can reap a huge, wonderful harvest. In Jesus' name I ask for your glory Lord. (ref. Luke 6:38, Gal. 6:7,9)

-Thank You Lord that it's only by your grace and mercy that I'm not doing 10x worse than ________________. (anyone else!!!)

-Thank You Lord that I stay humble. I don't want the pride of my heart to deceive me. (Obad. 1:3)

-Thank You Lord that You know the humble intimately, but the proud you know from far away. (ref. Ps. 138:6)

-Thank You Lord for the seeds in my life that will produce great blessings.  Help me to hang on to your promises (imagine, meditate and mutter them) and to watch the seed grow in Jesus' name. (Zech. 4;10)   -Thank you Lord that we do not slander/criticize or judge each other." (ref. James 4:11-12)
-Thank you Lord that we don't judge another man's servant. We pray blessings on them instead. (Rom. 14:4)
-Thank God for his mercy and grace!

I bless you with more of his love.  Thank you Jesus that your love is shed abroad in our hearts by Holy Spirit! (Rom. 5:5)

GOD WANTS YOU!

God wants You!

I think it's so amazing that GOd wants to use us, right where we are, right now. You might be wondering how God could use you and I hope to answer that question.

In Romans Chapter 12, the apostle Paul writes "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, Holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. So every day I say something like "Here am I Lord. If you need someone please use me." It works. I can't begin to tell you the wonderful things that have happened over the years. I give him all the Glory!

The next thing to do is to ask the Lord for his love because our love is so weak. In Romans 5:5 we read...."And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love, into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." So every day, sometimes many times a day I ask the Lord to shed his love abroad in my heart because let's face it,,, some people are hard to love!

After that I ask the Lord for his angels to protect me all day long (ref. Psalm 91) There's so many things that could happen and I want his protection on me and my loved ones and the people I encounter in my day.
That reminds me of something the Lord taught me. I was very young in the Lord and had just heard that we have angels assigned to us all our lives. So that night before I went to bed I asked the Lord if I had kept my angels busy that day. "Not really." he replied. So I asked the lord to show me how to keep them busy. That led me to learn about intercessory prayer and how prayer is the mightiest weapon. Hallelujah! Months later I asked the Lord "Am I keeping my angels busy?" and He said "Yes." I asked the Lord "How many angels can I have? and he replied, "As many as you will keep busy." WOW! That excited me. So Praise God, keep your angels busy. The Bible says that they hearken to the voice of his word and since we are the ones speaking his word on the earth, right now they'll listen to you as your prayers line up with Heaven. Pretty amazing eh? It gets better!

You might be thinking Where can I go? Easy! You don't have to go far to find people that don't know the Lord. The first way the Lord told me to go was to live conscious of Him all the time. I keep in touch with him many times a day. Just tell Him "Lord, I love you. Did I tell you that today?" He Loves hearing that. He loves to fellowship with us all day long. He is always looking for those who will worship him in spirit and in truth. As we do this Holy Spirit hovers around us and the people around us get a taste of heaven whether it be at work, school, in the grocery store, at the gas station, in the bus, everywhere we are.

That reminds me of a time before I got saved when I was riding a bus. I was searching at that time and I couldn't help but notice an older man on the bus because his countenance glowed. I couldn't stop looking at him he was so full of joy and peace. I wanted what he had so bad but I didn't have the guts to go ask him what made him shine. So remember, just because you can't see the glory of God on your face doesn't mean that God can't highlight you for someone else when He needs to. And the next time you spend some time praising and worshiping the Lord take a good look in the mirror afterwards. You'll start to see glory in your eyes.. Amazing eh? That's how it starts. We are changed from Glory to glory as we behold him. (2 Cor. 3:16-18)

Bless You!
