Home Ambiance....

I guess I didn't get it.   I've had so many people tell me over the years that my home was very peaceful and that they could feel the presence of God in my home.    I only saw the mistakes, the harsh words etc.   I have been learning to put on new glasses...to see things from Heaven's perspective and to get my attitude in line with Praise.   What a difference!

I realize now that because I was the stronger Christian I did have a great influence on my home.
I was reading James again the other night and these verses were brought to my attention.

James 3:16 says, "Where there is jealousy and selfishness there is also disorder and every kind of evil."  Wow!  That's a huge warning! Is it any wonder that some homes have no peace in them?  If the mother or father is operating out of jealousy or selfishness then every other kind of evil is allowed in that home!  That is not what I want in my home!

James, 3:17 says, " But wisdom from above is Pure, first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle and friendly, it is full of Compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; It is free from prejudice (pre-judging) and hypocrisy (say one thing but do another)"

That verse is a mouthful but the other night God highlighted the peaceful part.   See,  you can't give what you don't have.   If you are operating out of jealousy then all kinds of evil and strife are allowed in your home.  Conversely, if you operate with Heaven's wisdom, by following Holy Spirit's leading and renewing your mind... then you will fill your home with peace, gentleness and friendliness.   Who wouldn't want that in their home?   It gets better!  Who doesn't want a harvest of good deeds in their family and home?  Who doesn't want appreciation and team spirit in their home?    I know I do!

So the onus is on us.  As we treasure every nudge from Holy Spirit, as we crave wisdom from His word, we are aligning ourselves with Heaven and we get the fruit of it now; peace, love, compassion, gentleness, friendliness, camaraderie and no hypocrisy.

Friends  this works..... I now have a bigger clue as to why people come to my place and say it's peaceful, why they can relax,,, why they feel it's like an oasis.   It is!  Holy Spirit  and all the angels know they are welcome here,  and they bring Heaven with them!

When you claim Heaven on earth through you.... Holy Spirit will honor that and help you deal with your stuff  so you can have heaven around you and your home.

It is so worth the journey!  Be encouraged.  He who began a good work in you will finish it! (Phil. 1:6)

Religious Spirit

Image result for religious spirit

I was at the garage minding my own business when another driver asked about spiritual stuff.  I mentioned a few things I had seen and another fellow joined the conversation and said that I was full of demons. Bad thing to say to this lady!

I asked him how he knew that? He replied that "Healing has passed away and that if I was seeing demons on people then I was demonized."   I was stunned!  How could you ever think that?  That's ignorance gone to seed!

So the first thing I told him was that Healing was in the Old Testament and the new Testament and that the disciples were commanded to go heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons and cleanse the lepers in Matthew 10:8, long before Holy Spirit was given. (ref. Isa. 53:5, 1Pet.2:24)

As for being demonized  I doubt it as "a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand."  Jesus's own words!(Matt. 12:25)

Also, I explained to him how I saw stuff (occasionally) before I got saved but it was always demonic and it freaked me out.  I didn't want to see!  Fast forward to me becoming a Christian and getting filled with Holy Spirit inside of me and its a brand new world! Holy Spirit has helped me to see more stuff and guided me into greater truths so I can help more people.

In addition,  it's a fact that some psychics can see, just like seer gifted Christians can see in the spirit realm... The BIG difference is your source.  Is God guiding you or satan/lucifer/familiar spirit guiding you? That's the right question to ask!

So unfortunately this supposed Christian has believed a lot of junk and not read his Bible.   Like so many others with a religious spirit he has become totally ineffective at advancing the kingdom of God.  Imagine he wouldn't even vote!  Completely giving up on his right to influence society in a Godly way.

The icing on the cake was that he kept asking me who the first angel was... Like who cares?  What are you doing with your life to make a difference for God?  That's what really matters!

I was so not impressed with this fellow!   I told him, "Right...you sit here, in your little bubble waiting for the rapture and you are totally ineffective at advancing the Kingdom of God."  He got really upset at that.  So I asked him,  When was the last time you prayed for somebody and they got healed?  When was the last time you  introduced someone to Jesus.  When was the last time you prayed and demons fled?

The poor fellow that listened to us didn't know what to think!  When I told him about certain people not being allowed on my bus because of the demons in them  he really got interested.  Then I told him about the lady that found me after 3 or 4 weeks and she was so excited because her husband had finally been properly diagnosed after I prayed and was out of the  hospital feeling so much better.

So I know which bus the listening fellow wants to be on!  LOL....   As for the other guy.... what a waste.

Life is too short. I want to make a difference every day for the Lord.   Like I've said before  my usual prayer is, "Lord here I am. Please use me today!"

Anyhow... Thanks for reading... I needed to vent a bit, LOL.  May you have courage to pray that kind of prayer and follow Holy Spirit's nudges... It's definitely a life worth living!

Best Exercises for Learning How to See in the Kingdom

Hi.  I just listened to a Youtube video by Mike Parsons and it was so helpful!  I wish I had had this video 15 years ago when I first started  trying to learn how to see in the Kingdom realm.

I'm going to share it here for all of you.   He makes it really easy to follow and he even has mentoring groups  on Google that you can join if you are interested.   He's got the proof!  He's taken his whole church up into the courts and talk about the testimonies!!!  I'm in awe.

It's called , "Exercises - How To Enter The Spirit Realm and Interact with God"

Healing delayed?

Hi there....
I have got a good testimony to share with you. I stubbed my toe a while back and I keep reinjuring it.  No fun when it's my right foot and I drive approximately 6-8 hours a day.

Aliss Crisswell  has some great teaching about this. I made notes from her Youtube video.   She says that when  a condition doesn't respond to Healing prayer often there is a demon behind it and we need to deal with that.

So here's my summery of her teaching:
First we come out of agreement with this condition.  For example, "Lord forgive me for coming into agreement with the evil spirit causing my sprained or broken toe"  We don't even realize we are coming into agreement with it sometimes!  It can be as simple as taking some pain medication or telling others that we jammed our toe on the furniture!

Second, we command the evil spirit to go, In Jesus' Name!  Then we on purpose breath in Holy Spirit and breath out the demon and command it to leave and not bother anyone else but go straight to Jesus.

Also,  if you have someone that will agree with you get them to put a hand on your shoulder and command the spirit to leave immediately while you do the breath in Holy Spirit thing.

I want to tell you that I did this last night for my toe and it worked!  I've been praying for this toe for weeks and I put in a request for healing to a healing team a week ago and still the pain would get agonizing at times if I had to bend my toe at all.  I got mad and started praying for healing for so many people and I would not give up!

Hallelujah!  It pays to not give up! I am so grateful.  I wasn't even looking for anything about my toe,,, just learning about angels and their ministry when this video came up on the playlist and had Aliss Crisswell teaching on it.  How awesome is our God!!!   Now I can go walk my dogs for as long as I want!  Praise the Lord!

Anyhow, I hope this can help you too!  It pays to not give up.  God will get the revelation to you somehow if you keep seeking. I'm proof of that!

Have a great day!

Good listen about getting free from Porn

Hi there.....   I hate porn!  I hate everything about it!... I hate what it does to the person engaged in it and the death it brings to the person, their wives/girlfriends and children.

Also,  there are all the downstream effects of pornography: erectile dysfunction,   more twisted lusts, and the crimes people commit to fulfill those new desires and fantasies.

Did you know that the number one reason a woman will leave a man is because of porn addiction?  She knows he's fooling around on her.  I have met many porn widows.... some who were positive that their husbands/boyfriends were having an affair on them. They might not have been physically at that moment but they were emotionally!

There has been so little authoritative teaching on this subject and so many Christian men struggle with this I am thrilled to find this youtube video about purity.

Enjoy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCNBCm0egWo

There's also a book put out by Promise Keepers called, "Sex, God  and Men" by Douglas Weiss.  It has some good stuff in it about the different levels of masturbation etc.  and how to bond with your mate so porn is not so desirable.

Basically..... your best option is to ask Holy Spirit to help you to hate your sin... that's the start.  And, as always,,, run to God... not away from Him!  A healed heart is much stronger at resisting porn than a broken, hurting person.

So If you want to pray with me let's start out this way... You can add whatever the Lord lays on your heart.

" Lord, your will be done and your kingdom come in our lives in a greater way today.  We claim courage to run to You, not away from you. We know that you were tempted to sin, yet didn't sin and we too can resist temptation! Hallelujah for the hope and victories you have in store for us! Amen!"

Have a great day!

New Life Awaits

New Life awaits us...

When I lost most of my hours at the Library January 2014, due to cut backs I asked the Lord what to do and I heard him say, "Start painting and I'll open a door."  I was a bit upset at the time because I didn't know how I was going to pay my bills but I started painting our house in obedience.

Then our dog went into heat and I got the okay to breed her.  Four healthy puppies were born two months later!

I was able to sell the puppies to great people who liked the Boston Terrier breed and that helped a lot with the bills.

Then my daughter needed help in Edmonton.  I went to get her in April  using my air miles to fly out and we drove back during the Easter weekend.  God was orchestrating it all, hallelujah!

My daughter dared me to apply to some jobs out in Edmonton as we were chatting on the way back to Ontario.  So I started looking and applied for a couple of QA positions and a couple of bus driving positions.

Meanwhile at home I was still painting, to the point where I now had only  5 rooms left in the house to paint.
Freshly painted

I got a call from a bus company out West that interviewed me on the phone.  Then they asked for job references.  I gave them mine and prayed for favor from my bosses.

I did deviate from painting the house too.  I got tired of all the work and painted some water color exercises.

I had lots of fun this winter!

The house was completely painted by the time I passed my drug test and gave 2 weeks notice.  Amazing!  God knew what was coming down the pipe and got me ready before I even knew what it was.

My husband freaked out when I got the job, but oh well.   Dreams cost money and retirement isn't in the Bible -- enough said.  We were struggling to keep up with the bills since the Nortel collapse.  The downstream effects devastated the economy around Ottawa.

I want to encourage you to follow the nudges of Holy Spirit.  He's so patient with us and he knows the end from the beginning.  If you will attempt to follow his voice he will tell you when you head off in the wrong direction.  He is forever faithful and extremely patient with us!

As I look through all my pics from the last year or so I can't believe how much my life has changed.  Only God could do something so wonderful!  And I am content!  I can feel Holy Spirit's pleasure that I'm here -- 3 provinces away from my previous home.  It doesn't make sense but it's true.  Holy Spirit led living is the best!

Have a great day with HIM!
Big hugs,

The Voice of the Father

I always wondered what the Father's voice would sound like when I actually heard it.  I have been pressing into worship and seen lots of stuff in visions of God.  As I've gotten closer to the throne room of Heaven I've been wondering when I would get to hear his Voice.

There is so much music in Heaven.... it takes a bit of getting used to.  Everything is singing.  Even inanimate objects have a song resonating in them.  If I pause and stand and focus on the music I can see the notes appear in the air.  Amazing stuff.

Anyhow, I was getting stuck in the groups of worshipers that wait their turn in front of the throne level.  They are all so excited to be able to worship at the throne in Heaven.  I remember saying, 'help' in my head and all of a sudden I had a back stage pass in my hand and in a blink I was behind the throne area.

Now when I worship it's like I go to the back of the throne area immediately and there are all these angels and living creatures on that level.  There's a huge angel with wings that are at least 10 ft long at the top of the dais and he's curled his wing around me a time or two-- when the glory got to intense for me to stand in it.

Lately, I've been getting closer and I keep seeing this angel that's glowing with fire all over him.  When he moves fast he leaves a trail of fire.  He's looking at me and then looking back over his shoulder to the Father. I know he's got something for me.  I just know it!  He's waiting for the right moment.

Anyhow.... I was watching the Father intently and he was motionless, sitting on the throne.  I was awestruck with his majesty and power. I thought to myself, "All I want to do was to sit and watch him run the comos."

I heard Holy Spirit talk to me and I said, "I love you Holy Spirit but I'd really like to hear the Father's voice." and He said, "I am the Father's Voice."

I pondered that and then Holy Spirit said, "When you hear me, You are hearing the Father."

How amazing is that?  The most powerful, creative, awesome being in the universes and He's talking to me!!!

Every time we hear Holy Spirit we are hearing Father God cause he is God's voice.

Let's pray:  Lord we treasure you!   Help us to always be able to hear and discern your lovely voice.  Awaken us in the morning with your sweet songs and put us to bed in the evening hearing your precious, precious words of love.  Yell at us it we are going to mess up our lives and give us ears to hear and a receptive, humble heart to obey what you say. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!

Pentecost Today

This first was published in Come to the Table, a Facebook Group, May 24, 2013

Pentecost Today
Scripture Reading:  Acts 1:1-15, 2:1-21

When I think about Pentecost I think about what happened at the end.  What an explosive way to start a church!  As I'm sure you remember, Holy Spirit came down on everyone in the room like a huge wind and flames of fire appeared on people's heads.  People were baptized with Holy Spirit and started speaking in different languages as Holy Spirit led.  It was an amazing time.

What I tend to forget is all the stuff that happened while they were waiting.  Can you imagine 500 people waiting in a crowded room or building for God to show up?  Just the logistics boggle my mind!  I'm sure some people got turned off by the renovations that were always 'half-way done' and left.  I'm sure there were people who got tired of waiting and felt that they should be doing this or they could be doing that... and walked away.

I am also certain that in those cramped quarters people got upset with the leadership. After all,  look who the leaders were!  None other than, Peter, James and John-- the greatest deserters of all!  God surely couldn't use them after all they had done.

In those hot, stinky conditions who could pray for any length of time anyhow?  And look at brother so and so.  He's always hogging the speaker's place and trying to impress everyone.  Don't they know who he is?

Is it any wonder that the 500 people who saw Jesus after his resurrection whittled down to 120 within those 40 days?

I can see the same thing happening today.  I have talked to people from different churches across Ottawa and the valley and everybody knows that something is about to break, but we don't know what.   People are leaving churches, disengaging from churches or plain, not going to church.

Some are getting tired of leadership.  Others are getting tired of renovations.  There's a great uneasiness or dissatisfaction in the body-- almost like itchy feet.   We know something is up but we can't put our on thumbs on it.

So, I want to encourage you that you are not alone if any of this stuff has crossed your mind.  We are on the edge of a great, great move of God.

Holy Spirit woke me up last Sunday with these words, "I'm going to do something no one has dreamed of." (ref. 1Cor. 2:9)  I believe Him.  I've never, in all my 30+ years as a Christian, seen the body of Christ so uneasy.

The key I believe is to not lose our focus.  As we keep the big picture (the Kingdom advancing) the big thing in our lives God will sort out all the other stuff; renovations, leadership, volunteers, families, our lives and our dreams.

Did you know that Holy Spirit doesn't get upset with renovations?  He doesn't even get upset with leadership!  He's not remotely upset with your family members either.  I can see that I need to spend more time with Holy Spirit so that those things don't bother me either.

Let's Pray Out Loud:
"Thank You Lord for joy in our journey and for all your comfort and encouragement! Help us Lord to remember all the great things you are doing at our church.  Help us also to give grace to those around us when they disappoint us.  Help us to expect our rewards from you and not people.  And thank You Lord for using imperfect people, including us. Amen!"

Bless you!

Constant Fellowship

I wrote this for the Facebook group "Come to the Table" May 15, 2013
Enjoy!

Constant Fellowship

For this is what the high and exalted One says-- he who lives forever, whose name is holy: "I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. (Is. 57:15)

I love this verse because of what it means for us. God is promising to live with us, to be in constant fellowship with us as we are real and humble before him, in all situations we face in life. He's promising to revive the humble and repentant ones. I think we can all qualify for His kind of Revival!

As I am in this fellowship with Him, I love how Holy Spirit is always encouraging, always hopeful, always full of laughter and how he helps me to see the funny side of things. He's always telling me, "It's not as bad as you think!" You see, I'm naturally a serious person, and before I got to know the Lord I was Way too uptight!" Holy Spirit is so good at helping me see the humor in life. Thank God for all his comforts!

Personal journaling:
How has the Lord revived you when you were low?
Have you seen His encouragement when you didn't think you would ever make it?
Has he whispered your name lately?

Let's pray out loud... "Lord we come to you and ask for your encouragement today. Tell us things we don't know yet and show us the way to go. Make our lives count for Your Kingdom, in Jesus' name we ask. Amen!"

Further Reading:
Scripture: Psalm 51:17, Isa. 66:2, Micah 6:8 and
Rom. 15:5-6, "May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Bless you!

God knows the End from the Beginning

Is. 46:10. "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.
I say, ‘My purpose will stand and I will do all that I please."

He knows the end from the beginning.  Hallelujah!   All my days were written in His book.

God hid our destiny in the core of our being.  We are already on the road.  We might just need to find the road marks.  Visions, dreams and prophetic words will confirm what Holy Spirit shows us in our daily seeking times.

photo from Photobucket.com
God's road map is unfolding  as we walk in awareness of Him.  As we focus on Him we operate at peak performance.  No more self consciousness.

Be God aware, not self aware.

Being God aware helps us to recognize all the miracles that are happening in our lives from day to day.   Face up with a miracle.  Believe that they happen.  A meaningful coincidence is a little miracle.

Being thankful guards us against complaining... which keeps God's blessings flowing.  The quickest way to stop God's blessing is to be ungrateful.

So step out and trust God that he's able to steer you.  He's already programmed you.  He knows all the divine connections you need to make. As you stay  in a praising, thankful attitude you can be guarenteed to make all the right connections along the way.  No moments wasted.  What a concept!

Have a great day with Holy Spirit!
Big hugs,

Crocheting detour

Well, I did it.  I finally opened up my crocheting storage bin after a years break to see if I could make these fancy 'Robin Hood' style slippers.  It felt like Christmas!  It was so nice to be able to create again.  Just have to find the balance in life so that I don't go overboard again and miss out on time with the Lord.

I listened to some great preaching while I was crocheting these pieces.  I keep a note pad handy so I can write down any insights I want to work on.

I thought I was ready for Christmas when I got a request from my daughter.  Turns out my grand daughter loves her new Barbie doll and could I please make her some clothes?  Ha ha,  I scoured the internet and took out a few books from the library and found a few patterns I thought I could do.   Finding the right kind of yarn was a bigger challenge. I found the dress while I was searching for suitable yarn.

Here's what I ended up making while  I listened to some great preaching and watched a boring movie with my hubby.

Two hours for a little hat and keyhole scarf!  The stitches are so tiny that it takes forever to crochet anything.   I even did an internet search looking for Barbie clothes to see if I could find a deal and save myself a few hours and found that there is not much out there.

Went searching the next day for yarn and couldn't find any so I called a friend and she had some leftover baby yarn. PTL!  I got it from her and finished this outfit.

It wasn't a waste of time because I was able to review many of my good confessions and build myself up in the word.  Jedediah Tham says that in many cases our times with God are unfruitful because we haven't spent enough time in the word of God.  No word in your diet equals very little to chew on or meditate on.

Looking back I can see where having a full diet of the promises of God has helped my meditation time.   Lots of Word gives Holy Spirit lots to work with, lol.  Also, lots of word in your diet gives you lots of discernment because, "the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:11-13)

Powerful eh?  So the key is to make sure that your activities don't leave you spiritually starving for meat.  You want lots of good word in your diet so that Holy Spirit can breathe on it and make it a living word for you in your devotional times or meditation times.

Let's activate this with our words: "Thank You Lord for giving us a hunger for your word.  Help us to always make time for your word and protect our meditation times from intrusion and spiritual attack.   We want to bear lots of fruit for You, Lord Jesus!  Amen!"

Bless you!
Big hugs,

Breaking Strongholds in Marriages

This is from a precious friend who asked me to post it so that you would be encouraged.  He is so excited about the breakthroughs he is seeing in his marriage and his friend's marriages.  Be  encouraged!  God is on your side!

"Today I spent the whole morning breaking down strong holds in a married couple's house. When we thought that we where through Holy Spirit stayed and brought forth more and more revelation. After calling out peoples names living and dead we made a great step forward in discernment  by breaking off curses one at a time.

Again, just as I said, we thought we were through, but HOLY SPIRIT wasn't. We felt to call out each of the married couples to forgive each other. After they both forgave each other we could feel something lifting off.

I did this months ago with my wife and I also could feel something breaking off of me. Now here is the discernment that I was given at that time; when we get married we stand before the LORD and give a pledge to each other.  At this time our love is so great between us.

As life goes on we start to drift. We don't keep our love guard up and become less loving and all that goes with it.  Oh how the devil is so glad. We don't even know what is going on behind the scenes. After some time in our marriages we start thinking about our partner in negative ways. Now look closely, we are just thinking. So where do you think these negative thoughts come from?

It build and builds until there is great disagreement, bitterness and no forgiveness. Our marriage is now in great danger. Oh how the devil is so slippery. We think that we can do it on our own and that is such  a lie!

So what do they do now?  They split up and blame it always on the other partner because they cannot see through their own bitterness.

This would not have happened, if right from the start we received the proper education. It is about 'being tried' people, just like Adam and Eve. We are all in this trial forever and without proper education we will stay in this prison forever.

We have to fight back and take back what satan stole from us and the LORD says it is love. You see satan can't love and he doesn't want you to either. On the other hand, OUR FATHER is full of love, he heals with love and believe me his love is a total healing dictionary. A first aid kit that never runs out. The only time it runs out is when we run out of him.

Lets go back to our love problem. We have to forgive each other and go back to the alter where our vows were and take a stand against satan. My advice is to kiss your spouse regularly. Tell them you love them. Hold their hand and watch the world look at you. Speak well of them all the time.  Focus on their good points, not the things that irritate you.

The people around will all wonder and wish they had this. Choose to Stand on top of the world with your confession and faith in Jesus and Holy Spirit's comfort and counsel... instead of sinking into it to join the fallen."    (L.Jones)

Isn't that exciting?  I love to hear about people getting breakthroughs.  I don't want the devil to win in anybodies life!

Repeat this after me: I am a light set on a hill!  I am salt that is meant to preserve and flavor everything! I am a blessing everywhere I go!  I am 'love' walking and talking because his love is shed abroad in my heart as I ask him for it! I am his beloved and I can love those God puts in my path; especially my family, church family and coworkers!

Bless you!

Learning...

Beautiful Lemon Sunflower

God's been good.  I have been learning some great life lessons and enjoying the journey.  (I just want to always be looking for the Sun(Son)! lol.

First new idea is that if I can't help the person directly then I shouldn't be talking about them.  The Bible has lots to say about 'slander'.  I couldn't believe how many scripture verses  I found!

Second new idea is that I should talk about Jesus until Holy Spirit tells me to be quiet.  Completely different perspective from most Christians especially at work.   I prayed for healing out loud  for someone at work that was a Christian and I could see that they were uncomfortable with it.

Another time I was sharing with someone higher up in the chain of command about how God told me to be careful in a situation and he remarked, "So you're a Christian?"  "YOU BET,"  I responded. Sad thing is he doesn't know that over half the people I work with are Christians,  they just don't talk about it.   Fear in it's various forms has caused them to take the easy way.... and the devil wins another round and we shame the one who suffered so much for us.

I don't know about you but I reckon myself dead to the flesh.... and any fear I discover I have,  I am working to eliminate.   I have overcome a few things and have a ways to go, but I'm going in the right direction!  I have found that it's easier to overcome  when I stay strong in  my Bible promises.

Third new idea  is that I am busy, so I have to make time to stay strong in the word.  I usually have about 40 minutes before I leave for work in the morning, so while I'm letting the dogs out and getting ready,  I've been turning on Dan Mohler on youtube and getting some good anointed word in me.   Good stuff.

Fourth  new idea is that business doesn't have to take you away from God's plan for your life.  It can force the decision making process, so that you pare away the things that don't really matter.  The choice is really up to you.

Holy Spirit has been helping me through some really busy weeks and my family and I aren't suffering and neither is my walk with the Lord.  Hallelujah!  Holy Spirit has been helping me to keep my priorities straight and I am so grateful!  I do not want to miss this end time move of God.  I want to be in it somehow, someway.

On that note, I am going to go sing the Lord a few songs and see what else he has to say before bed.
I Bless you  abundantly; physically, mentally, spiritually, financially, and relationally, in Jesus' name!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

3 Keys to Releasing the Rivers Inside of You

I was trying to make a video clip and I lost 2.5 hours worth of work but I remembered what the preacher taught! This is from Ezekiah Francis.  He is an apostle from India and he really loved the presence of God in our church, (www.theoasis.ca or "Kinburn Revival" on Facebook, Kinburn Revival on YouTube).

He said that there is nothing to wait for.  "Quit singing, "One day, one day..."  We have already gotten all we are going to get.   The main key is to release the power of the Holy Ghost inside of us.  We have all the creative power of the universe inside of us already." (ref. Col. 1:27).

I believe that.  God promised to meet all our needs according to his riches in glory (ref. Phil.4:19).  Thank God he didn't say Heaven.   We can get to the glory realm every time we worship, are thankful, by sowing and obeying.  Those are the four main doors that I have discovered thus far (another teaching for another day)

In his presence we should ask Holy Spirit what we are allowed to decree or call into being.  That's the time to speak all the prophesies that you have over your life.  That's the time to pull down the provision you are waiting on.  That's the time to obey whatever Holy Spirit says to do or say.

You might think I am crazy and that's okay, but God did that!  He waited till Holy Spirit was moving before he spoke things into being. (Gen. 1:1-3)  Even Jesus learned to wait upon Holy Spirit.  He himself said, I can only do what I see my Father in Heaven doing. (John 5:19)  Since he was on earth when he spoke this, he was relying on Holy Spirit to show him what was going on in Heaven much the same way we need to wait on Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit is the only God agent on the earth.  He is our guide to walking in the spirit, too all things pertaining to life and godliness (ref. 2Pet. 1:3).

Ezekiah then mentioned 3 keys to releasing the rivers inside of us.

1. Expand your spirit.  Reading your bible will really help. He reads 10 chapters in his bible every day.    We read a lot of commentaries and how to books in the Western World but many of us have gotten away from reading our bibles (myself included).  We need to strengthen ourselves with His might in our spirits. (ref. Eph 3:16)

2. Guard your  heart.  Proverbs. 4:23 reads, "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."  We (myself included) need to be careful what we are allowing into our ears and eyes-- our spiritual gates.

3. Listen!  One word from God can change your life.   Reading your bible will help you tune your spirit back to heaven's frequency.  According to Ezekiah, the very best way to grow in your listening ability is to pray in tongues, then ask for the interpretation.  Speak in tongues at least 1 hour  a day and ask for the interpretation every so often.

I started out as a baby christian singing in tongues and the song's were helping me so much that I blurted out, "What am I singing Holy Spirit?"  I immediately got the interpretation.  I really do believe we have not because we ask not (ref. James 4:2).

Ezekiah prays in tongues a minimum of 3 hours before every service to prepare for it.   He challenged us to pray in tongues for one hour a day, asking for the interpretation so we would grow.

As I was writing down these notes in my journal I got, "We will yet do greater things than these!"  Holy Spirit wants this for us.

So I decided to give what he said a try.  I have a hard time setting aside the time to read 10 chapters at once but I can do 1 chapter in the morning, one at lunch, one at supper etc.  I was pleasantly surprised how peaceful I became after a stressful morning.  It works!  Reading one chapter of my bible helped me to refocus and I realized that what was bothering me wasn't really important in the grand scheme of things.

May I dare you to try this out?  It's helping me.  I know we are all busy, but he's worth more than anything in our lives-- isn't he?

Let me bless you now.  "I bless you with the ability to press in for more of God.  May you (and I) always have a hunger for his word and His presence.  May the zeal of the Lord consume us and may we seize the moments every day to obey and bring his Kingdom to the earth.  I declare you are blessed to be a blessing everywhere you go, in Jesus' name. Thank You Jesus that signs and wonders follow us as we obey your promptings today. Amen!"
