I love sailing ships.. I love how such a small ruder can turn the ship in any direction.
There's a great analogy about the kingdom for us too. Think of the rudder as our tongue, like the Apostle James said (James 3:4)
If we want to have a great day we need to first of all control what comes out of our mouths. That's some huge lessons right there. Ask Holy Spirit for help.
Second, we need to decree what we want to have happen in our day because our words are life and death. So lets be decreeing some life stuff. There are lots of good decrees in my blog. Just search "confession" in the top left header bar to find some of them.
Third, we need to ask Holy Spirit for divine appointments and for help not to miss these appointments to advance the Kingdom of God.
I told a friend that decreeing Psalm 91, 23 and 149 were good ways to protect her day. They'll help you too!
Also don't forget to throw out blood of Jesus bombs with your name on them to break all curses and witchcraft. How's that for a picture! Every time you decree (Isa 54:17) you are doing this! I like the visual to help me, LOL. So do this at the start of your day... Set the limits early so the enemy has no room to attack your life.
Pray in tongues much during your day. If you don't have a prayer language yet, keep asking! I know it took me months to get my first one. It's worth it! Keep asking and you'll get it eventually. Be like that widow that kept on asking and wouldn't quit! (Luke 18:1-8)
Finally, Don't forget to thank and praise the Lord for all the good stuff going on in your life. The sound of Praise changes our cells! It makes them healthy! Praise is so, so powerful! Ask Holy Spirit if I'm telling you the truth! Ask him to show you the power of Praise! It breaks off every spirit of heaviness that would try to steal your joy and strength!
On that note I'm going to set my rudder ie. work on my latest decrees and confessions! Have a great day with the Lord!
Blessings and hugs,

Loving Someone....
Loving someone is a very complex deal.... There are times when we get caught in a bad relationship because we don't either recognize it, we feed it with our own expectations or we feel trapped and unable to change the situation.
I know. Eventually you get to the point where you realize that this person is not good for your emotional health.. You've tried to change them and it hasn't worked. You've tried to put on a thicker skin and parts of you are dying inside from all the toxic words.
When I cried out to God for help to try to heal... God eventually moved me out of the situation after I said I'd rather be alone the rest of my life than to live like this. Of course there were other changes that had to be made in preparation of moving but I started the ball rolling. Yeah it was tough! We tend to become co-dependent... and we're so used to the behavior that we can even make excuses for it.
I was very lonely,,, but it was the best thing that could have happened to me! God had me learn a bunch of positive, Bible based confessions that helped me change my expectations. So important because if you don't change your expectations you'll reward the wrong behavior!
With God we can do All Things. (Phil 4:13) He means it. If I did it, you can do it. You are stronger than you know!
As you change your self talk, you change your habits, which changes your walk, which changes your destiny! IT really does work!
Here's some of the confessions I used when I was recovering from a 20+ year marriage breakup. Looking back I realize now that it was the best thing that could have happened to me. Please feel free to use the ones that help you!

Three's a Crowd!
It's Very unfortunate that most people don't know the first thing about Soul Ties.... they have such a bearing on whether or not you are ever able to make healthy changes in your life!
You see.... A soul tie is a spiritual bond with a person that you have had sex with usually, although parents can have soul ties with their children too. For the purposes of this article we'll focus on soul ties created by sex because they are the most prevalent. You might have broken up with them years ago but they can still influence you!
Some of the indications that you have a soul tie or bond are:
1. You feel like they are watching you when you are trying to make an important decision.
2. You are unable to make healthy changes in your lifestyle or get away from toxic relationships.
3. They know when you are feeling something... especially strong emotions.
4. You defend your right to stay in touch with that person,,, even if they are no good for you!
Here's a good example. You start a new relationship... but you are unable to move on. Parts of you keep rehearsing things that have happened with your ex. You might have broken the soul tie in prayer but if you open the door of communication again with that person then guess what? Yes! The soul tie is reestablished. That's why it's so important to stay on top of this! You can be happy and then miserable all in 5 minutes because of the other person's influence.
Now put this together with toxic emotions like anger, hate and jealousy and you have a powerful vehicle of cursing going to the unfortunate person that's trying to make changes in their life.
The best thing you can do is to limit or cut all communication with the toxic person or ex. Even thinking or meditating on past experiences with that toxic person can reestablish the soul tie. Then you'll want to break the soul tie. It's really easy because Jesus paid the price! All you have to do is ask the Lord to break the soul tie between you and the person, in Jesus' name. Claim your freedom! Ask the Lord to forgive you for sleeping around and you'll be free. He wants this for you!!!!
Also, you'll want to keep declaring that "No weapon formed against you will prosper and every tongue that has risen against you is cut down, in Jesus' name!" (ref. Isa. 54:17) Then claim that you have the "mind of Christ" and chose to bless those that are persecuting you with their words. "Father forgive them, they don't know what they are doing!" (1. Cor. 2:16, Luke 22:34)
Then start to speak good things over yourself to counteract the curses. Confessions like, Thank You Lord that I have the mind of Christ, Thank You Lord that I am blessed to be a blessing! Thank You Lord that I have favor with all people, Thank You Lord that I can't fail for winning, I can't lose for succeeding and that in all things You cause with to conquer through your power that is working so mightily in me! Thank You Lord that I'm aware of the enemy's schemes! Help me to recognize when someone is cursing me so I can shut it down right away. Thank You Lord that I choose to walk in Love. Thank You Lord that your love is shed abroad in my heart by Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord that I have your supernatural strength and courage to make changes in my life. Show me how as I wait on You!
I hope this helps you. There's lots more on the internet about soul ties. In deliverance ministry one of the first things we do is break the soul ties... People can actually become schizophrenic because of the other person's influence.
Remember, Three's a crowd! Get rid of all the influence from the toxic person (ex)... You'll be much happier for it!
Big hugs and blessings!

Don't Lose YOUR Voice
A while ago someone praying over me told me that I was getting back the voice that I had lost. I didn't understand what she meant at the time so I filed it away and asked God about it every so often.
This morning I heard Pastor Mark Redner teaching about taking dominion over things, situations and circumstances and the light bulb went off.
Somehow, through discouragement I had allowed myself to quit walking by faith. The Bible says that we are supposed to walk by faith and not by sight but can I tell you that sometimes your sight can overwhelm your faith?
I never would have thought it could happen to me, but it can, even to seasoned faith talker like me.
The accusations of people, the niggling thoughts about nothing's changing, the self doubts that the enemy plays in your head all attack the promises and destiny that God has for you.
We need to be ever vigilant to take those negative thoughts captive and to make the effort to hang out with other people of like mind. An analogy that fits is, 'one coal by itself will soon go out but many coals together keep each other burning.'
We are in a real war. I need, we need to act like soldiers. As difficult as that can be we need to remember that we are bought with a very high price and we are not our own.
"Calling things that be not as though we are" is not a habit that we can let slide. If we ever want things to change we have to keep on doing the things that have brought us this far.
The other thing that Pastor pointed out that I thought was really appropriate was that we can't wait for our friends or family to get fixed before we go on with God. As tough as it is we have to let them wallow in the pigsty if that's what they choose to do. You can only hold your hand out so long before you'll get a crick in your back. If they are that insistant that they want to live their lives the way they choose-- then that's their choice. We have to honor that freedom to choose and move on with our lives.
Is it difficult to do this? You bet! Especially with family members! All we can do is keep decreeing the promises of God over their lives and bind the enemy and leave them with the Father. That's what faith does.
Nothing is worth sacrificing your fellowship with the Lord. Nothing. Without him we are nothing and apart from him we can do nothing! (John 15: )
On that note I got out my thankful confessions this afternoon and started speaking them out loud. Hallelujah! Do you know that I've seen lots of breakthroughs because of these confessions? Yes.... it's really true. Someone once said, "We make our habits, then our habits make us." I want good habits, so I can leave a legacy of encouraging words, videos and people healed and delivered.
Impossible? Nope! Nothing is impossible for God! He loves impossible situations! It's his opportunity to shine brightly in your life.
So What do you think? Has anyone or anything stolen your voice for a season? Are there promises of God that you have put on the shelf? I hope I've encouraged you to take all the land that God has promised you!
For Meditation:
Heb. 6:12 ... "Be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."
Gal. 6:9 "Do not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not faint."
Isaiah 40: 29-31"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised" (Heb 10:35-36)
Have a great day with Him!

Slandered!
I'm sure as I write this, that it's happened to many of you. You go to work one day and people are looking at you funny and asking strange questions. You might not think anything of it till you get called into a meeting with managers, where they start grilling you on events gone by.
As you try to recollect the details of the events that transpired you have the sinking feeling in your gut that you have been slandered. Your motives have been called into question. It's a horrible feeling. It can wreck your best day and cause many sleepless nights.
I am here to tell you that God is faithful. If you will stick with God and determine not to become bitter or vengeful God will vindicate you. He got me out of many nasty situations that the HR manager called 'a poisoned work environment'. And praise the Lord, I never lost my job!
I was wondering how slander gets started and it's so sneaky. It can start off with being disappointed and then you want to 'air' your feelings. It can start with you wanting to manipulate a person, because of preconceived ideas of what you need them to do, so you feel comfortable or satisfied. Most of the roots are fear based. You start asking why and eventually you'll get to a fear based reason.
I hate fear because it's not from God. So when I recognize it in my life I go after it to root it out. Here are some scriptures I have been using to renew my mind so I don't become the enemy's tool to destroy someone else.
Thank You Lord that I am wise because I don't utter slander. (ref. Prov. 10:19)
Those who hide hatred with lying lips are fools, (Prov. 10:18). Therefore I choose to forgive and You look after me.
Thank You Lord that it's to a person's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel. Prov. 20:3
Thank You Lord that the reverential fear of YOU if the beginning of wisdom! I draw near and ask for more please. (Ps. 111:10, Prov. 9:10)
The words of a gossip are like choice morsels, they go down to a man's inmost parts. (Prov. 26:22)
A gossip separates close friends. (Prov. 16:28)
Thank You Lord that though bosses sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees. (Ps 119:23)
Do not slander a servant to his master, or he will curse you, and you will pay for it. (Prov. 30:10 italics mine)
That's warning enough eh? You'll pay for slandering others! Lord have mercy on us and give us a great guard over our mouths and set watch over our lips so that we don't sin against You or others that You died for. (Ps. 141:3) Amen.
Bless you today!
Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

Crocheting detour
Well, I did it. I finally opened up my crocheting storage bin after a years break to see if I could make these fancy 'Robin Hood' style slippers. It felt like Christmas! It was so nice to be able to create again. Just have to find the balance in life so that I don't go overboard again and miss out on time with the Lord.
I listened to some great preaching while I was crocheting these pieces. I keep a note pad handy so I can write down any insights I want to work on.
I thought I was ready for Christmas when I got a request from my daughter. Turns out my grand daughter loves her new Barbie doll and could I please make her some clothes? Ha ha, I scoured the internet and took out a few books from the library and found a few patterns I thought I could do. Finding the right kind of yarn was a bigger challenge. I found the dress while I was searching for suitable yarn.
Here's what I ended up making while I listened to some great preaching and watched a boring movie with my hubby.
Two hours for a little hat and keyhole scarf! The stitches are so tiny that it takes forever to crochet anything. I even did an internet search looking for Barbie clothes to see if I could find a deal and save myself a few hours and found that there is not much out there.
Went searching the next day for yarn and couldn't find any so I called a friend and she had some leftover baby yarn. PTL! I got it from her and finished this outfit.
It wasn't a waste of time because I was able to review many of my good confessions and build myself up in the word. Jedediah Tham says that in many cases our times with God are unfruitful because we haven't spent enough time in the word of God. No word in your diet equals very little to chew on or meditate on.
Looking back I can see where having a full diet of the promises of God has helped my meditation time. Lots of Word gives Holy Spirit lots to work with, lol. Also, lots of word in your diet gives you lots of discernment because, "the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:11-13)
Powerful eh? So the key is to make sure that your activities don't leave you spiritually starving for meat. You want lots of good word in your diet so that Holy Spirit can breathe on it and make it a living word for you in your devotional times or meditation times.
Let's activate this with our words: "Thank You Lord for giving us a hunger for your word. Help us to always make time for your word and protect our meditation times from intrusion and spiritual attack. We want to bear lots of fruit for You, Lord Jesus! Amen!"
Bless you!
Big hugs,

Breaking Strongholds in Marriages
This is from a precious friend who asked me to post it so that you would be encouraged. He is so excited about the breakthroughs he is seeing in his marriage and his friend's marriages. Be encouraged! God is on your side!
"Today I spent the whole morning breaking down strong holds in a married couple's house. When we thought that we where through Holy Spirit stayed and brought forth more and more revelation. After calling out peoples names living and dead we made a great step forward in discernment by breaking off curses one at a time.
Again, just as I said, we thought we were through, but HOLY SPIRIT wasn't. We felt to call out each of the married couples to forgive each other. After they both forgave each other we could feel something lifting off.
I did this months ago with my wife and I also could feel something breaking off of me. Now here is the discernment that I was given at that time; when we get married we stand before the LORD and give a pledge to each other. At this time our love is so great between us.
As life goes on we start to drift. We don't keep our love guard up and become less loving and all that goes with it. Oh how the devil is so glad. We don't even know what is going on behind the scenes. After some time in our marriages we start thinking about our partner in negative ways. Now look closely, we are just thinking. So where do you think these negative thoughts come from?
It build and builds until there is great disagreement, bitterness and no forgiveness. Our marriage is now in great danger. Oh how the devil is so slippery. We think that we can do it on our own and that is such a lie!
So what do they do now? They split up and blame it always on the other partner because they cannot see through their own bitterness.
This would not have happened, if right from the start we received the proper education. It is about 'being tried' people, just like Adam and Eve. We are all in this trial forever and without proper education we will stay in this prison forever.
We have to fight back and take back what satan stole from us and the LORD says it is love. You see satan can't love and he doesn't want you to either. On the other hand, OUR FATHER is full of love, he heals with love and believe me his love is a total healing dictionary. A first aid kit that never runs out. The only time it runs out is when we run out of him.
Lets go back to our love problem. We have to forgive each other and go back to the alter where our vows were and take a stand against satan. My advice is to kiss your spouse regularly. Tell them you love them. Hold their hand and watch the world look at you. Speak well of them all the time. Focus on their good points, not the things that irritate you.
The people around will all wonder and wish they had this. Choose to Stand on top of the world with your confession and faith in Jesus and Holy Spirit's comfort and counsel... instead of sinking into it to join the fallen." (L.Jones)
Isn't that exciting? I love to hear about people getting breakthroughs. I don't want the devil to win in anybodies life!
Repeat this after me: I am a light set on a hill! I am salt that is meant to preserve and flavor everything! I am a blessing everywhere I go! I am 'love' walking and talking because his love is shed abroad in my heart as I ask him for it! I am his beloved and I can love those God puts in my path; especially my family, church family and coworkers!
Bless you!

Throwing Bombs in the Morning!
A few years ago a Prophetic person told me that I was supposed to start throwing 'bombs' out in the morning. That really got me wondering what he meant. I didn't get a chance to ask him about it so I put it on the back burner for a while.
Well, I finally figured it out. As Christians we are supposed to be "as shrewd as snakes and as harmless as doves" so obviously hitting the enemy, or the people he's working through was not the right solution. (ref. Mat. 10:16)
Too bad. At times I would love to give some people a piece of my mind. However, what the Lord was showing me is that the best way to throw out a 'bomb' is to declare something like, "Thank You Lord that my family is protected from freak accidents today."
Really what we're doing is putting up walls of protection. We are deciding how our day is going to go with the words we speak. We are putting up fences in the spirit realm so that the enemy cannot trespass.
What I have been doing is using Psalm 91 as my foundation. It's easy to memorize and if I've forgotten all my notes at home I can still decree this on my way to work. Here is what I have come up with so far. Remember to speak them out loud because the devil can't hear your thoughts.
Thank You Lord that we choose today to abide with you and remain conscious of your presence today.
Thank you Lord Jesus that we rest in your presence today.
Thank You Lord Jesus that we determine to praise You today.
Thank you Lord that You are our refuge and fortress today.
Thank You Lord for teaching us and guiding us today. Thank You for going ahead of us and preparing the way for us today. Thank you Lord that we live to bring you glory today. Teach us how to love one another and honor one another more.
Thank You Lord for giving us teachable hearts that we might learn more about your faithfulness.
Thank You Lord that You save us from anything coming against us physically, spiritually, mentally or financially today.
Thank You Lord that You protect us from all bad biologicals and any form of attack against us.
Thank You Lord for protecting us from things we can't see.
Thank You Lord for confounding (mixing up, confusing) all the plans of the enemy today.
Thank You Lord Jesus that no harm befalls my family and I.
Thank You Lord that no calamity comes near our home or business.
Thank You Lord Jesus for all the angels that hearken to the voice of your word through us, that are protecting us all day long. Hallelujah! Let them get their testimonies Lord.
Thank You Lord that we tread upon the lion and the cobra. That in Your name we are victorious over all evil.
Thank You Lord that you are causing all things to work together for our good. We are more than conquerors through your love working in us.
Thank You Lord that because we love You, You will honor us and deliver us and You will be especially close to us in times of trouble.
Thank You Lord that you honor us with long life and You will show us more about our 'great salvation' and what it means in our lives.
Thank You Lord Jesus for renewing our youth today.
Amen!
Hope you liked your decrees. I can feel God's presence around me just speaking them out. He's so good to us! Have a great day with Him! Throw a few 'bombs' for me while you are at it!
Bless you!

Bless you!
Big hugs,

Too Busy... No way!

Yup.... it was a eye opener for sure. Now I am looking for ways that I can trim my grocery bill a bit more, without sacrificing the variety of our diet. I don't think I'm ready to have beans 4 different ways a week.
The other thing she pointed out was that I didn't give out a word of knowledge in the grocery store and she's right. I have been so busy video taping and video editing that I've fallen out of the groove and slipped back into not doing much with what I have.
It's time to set up some better boundaries with certain individuals and stoke the fire again. If I have been there once I can get there again.
Here's some confessions that I use to stoke the fire of God inside of me. Speak them out loud and see how they help you!
Thank You Lord that You are always with me. That you will never leave me or forsake me.
Thank You Lord that I see with your eyes and that Your love compels me to reach out and help relieve suffering, wherever I find it.
Thank You Lord that I am full of you, Holy Spirit.
Thank You Lord that I am a walking conduit of Heaven's glory and presence.
Thank You Lord that I release the light of your glory within me every where I go.
Thank You Lord that I resist the devil and he has to flee.
Thank You Lord that I exult Your word above my experience.
Thank You Lord that I don't let a lack of instant results deter me from reaching out and commanding healing to flow to others. I can always give them a church business card and ask them to contact us with their testimony later.
Thank You Lord for all the angels that hearken to Your word through me. Show me what to decree so the angels get their testimonies today.
Thank You Lord that I resist fear and I walk with Holy Spirit. Freely I have received and freely I give.
Thank You Lord that I don't grieve Holy Spirit today.
Thank You Lord that I am quick to repent when I don't feel Holy Spirit's abiding presence around me.
Thank You Lord that I honor your 'nudges' above my need for comfort or security.
THank You Lord that I seize the moments to make a difference for You.
Thank You for Heaven on earth flowing through me.
Thank You Lord that I'm bold because I'm righteous!
Thank you Lord that I am Your revival vessel today, right now!
Thank You Lord for going ahead of me and preparing the path for me.
Thank you for opportunities to advance your kingdom and for your help to recognize what you would have me to say and do.
Thank You Lord for more of your love shed abroad in my heart to day.
Thank You Lord for a great day with You.
Thank you Lord that there's nothing that can happen that we can't get through together.
Thank you that You are working all things together for my good.
Thank you for blessing and protecting Israel and all her people.
Thank You Lord for protecting all my leaders. Bless them and guide them Lord. Amen!
That's a good way to start. Believe it or not, I have to get past the point of 'what if nothing happens' too. Actually, something always happens when we pray for people. It is just it starts on the inside first and works it's way to the outside. Just like a cold starts inside before you ever have symptoms, so does healing start from the inside.
Therefore be encouraged! You will get your testimonies! God is faithful! He won't test you beyond what you can endure. And in the mean time he's pruning you and growing you into a short, bushy tree that bears much fruit for the Kingdom of God. Hallelujah!
Bless you!

Winter Colds & Sickness
We don't have to be sick every winter. Really, we don't. Sometimes we curse ourselves when we speak words like, "I always get sick in the winter." or "I get every cold that comes around."
Sometimes it is words that family or friends have spoken over us that have opened the door for these spirits of sickness to attack us every winter. This often happens when we are children and don't know not to receive it and the words become a perpetual curse.
So to start, I would break the curse in Jesus' name then start renewing your mind. God has given us authority to bind and loose things. We need to take this privilege seriously. Whatever we bind on Earth is bound in Heaven and whatever we loose on Earth is loosed in Heaven. (ref. Matt. 16:19)
Thank You Lord that I prosper and I'm in health as my soul prospers. You want me whole and healthy in all seasons. (ref. 3John 2)
Thank You Lord that I am strong in you and my immune system fights off every virus. (ref. Eph. 6:10)
Thank You Lord that I am protected from secondary infections in Jesus name.
Thank you Lord for protecting me from the plague (pneumonia) that tries to attack me. (Psalm 91)
Here's a blog post that's full of good confessions to use to renew your mind.
http://www.greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2011/10/confessions-for-hospital-patient.html
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. (ref. Rom. 10:17) Fear comes by hearing and hearing the word of the devil. You choose what you listen to and receive in your heart.
Did you know that you believe what you say more than you believe what anybody else says? Yes it's true. Therefore you and I need to line up our words with Heaven and give the angels something to work with. They hearken to the voice of his word through us. (ref. Psalm 103:20)
Have fun!
I bless you in Jesus' name!

Word and Spirit Balance
I had a great time on the weekend with a whole bunch of believers. Holy Spirit was moving and we all got blessed.
As great as the spiritual visions and revelations are I want to encourage all believers to develop a rock solid foundation in the word of God. You might ask why? It's because there is supernatural power in the word of God to bring itself to pass in a believer's life.
"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. "(1Pet. 1:3-4)
God wants us to walk like Jesus on the earth and this is the process. We behold him in the word and we see stuff in us that we don't like. Instead of saying "I'm not going to do that anymore" and then fall when stressed, we want to replace it with a new, good habit.
For example, let's say that I had a problem criticizing people and I realize that this is not pleasing to the Lord. Then I want to reprogram my mind to react differently to the stimulus. I can do this by decreeing God's word, "Thank you Lord that I am full of the fruit of the spirit. I am quick to hear, slow to speak and very slow to become angry or offended." This is how we transform our minds and it is a daily process. (ref. Gal 5:23, James 1:19)
"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. "(2Pet. 1:5-8)
As we add God's promises to our lives, they will root out bad habits and change us from the inside out. This is how we renew our minds. (ref. Rom. 12:1-2) This is how we become effective and productive in our knowledge of Jesus Christ, the anointed one and his anointing.
Another reason why we don't just want to live off of our visions, feelings or dreams is because the Lord didn't. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness he didn't respond to the devil with, "Well, I had this great vision saying that I was the son of God." No, he responded with, "It is written..." (Matt.4:4,6,10)
If Jesus resisted the devil this way then we should too.
Here are some confessions that I wrote in 2000. Feel free to use whichever ones will help you.
-Thank you Lord that no foul or polluting language comes out of my mouth but only speech that is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it. (ref. Eph. 4:29)
-Thank you Lord that we are developing an attitude of gratitude and it will raise our altitude.
-Thank you Lord that we don't offend anyone in speech, that we are becoming fully developed in character, able to control our whole bodies and to curb our entire nature. (James 3:2)
-Thank you Father that through Jesus I constantly and at all times offer up to you a sacrifice of praise. (Heb. 13:15)
Oh Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, Oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer. (Ps. 19:14)
-Thank You Lord so much for putting a guard on my mouth and tongue so that I will be kept from troubles. (Prov. 21:23)
-Thank you Father that I can sow good seed into my life and into other people's lives. Please lead me by your spirit to pray and say the right words so we can reap a huge, wonderful harvest. In Jesus' name I ask for your glory Lord. (ref. Luke 6:38, Gal. 6:7,9)-Thank You Lord that it's only by your grace and mercy that I'm not doing 10x worse than ________________. (anyone else!!!)
-Thank You Lord that I stay humble. I don't want the pride of my heart to deceive me. (Obad. 1:3)
-Thank You Lord that You know the humble intimately, but the proud you know from far away. (ref. Ps. 138:6)
-Thank You Lord for the seeds in my life that will produce great blessings. Help me to hang on to your promises (imagine, meditate and mutter them) and to watch the seed grow in Jesus' name. (Zech. 4;10) -Thank you Lord that we do not slander/criticize or judge each other." (ref. James 4:11-12)
-Thank you Lord that we don't judge another man's servant. We pray blessings on them instead. (Rom. 14:4)
-Thank God for his mercy and grace!
-Thank God for his mercy and grace!
I bless you with more of his love. Thank you Jesus that your love is shed abroad in our hearts by Holy Spirit! (Rom. 5:5)

Stay Small
I was asked to go to the hospital by a friend to visit someone that was diagnosed with cancer months ago. I was really excited because a fellow that does healing meetings was going to visit at the same time.
My girlfriend and I had prayed for our friend together a couple of times and we thought she had received her healing, but the symptoms continued.
This was a new day and one of the first things the fellow told her was to put the past in the past. Good thought. As he started to talk about examples in the Bible, I started to weep because I felt Holy Spirit's presence manifest around us.
He prayed for her and I probably wasn't as quiet as I should have been because I was excited and wanted to agree with him. There is power in agreement! (ref. Matt. 18:19)
Afterwards, he shared how he knew, but he knew that she had received healing virtue and that if she would agree with God every part of her body would be healed, not just the cancers.
His praying was no different then our praying, Holy Spirit said, because the cancers would start to jump around whenever I prayed for her. We knew we were on to something. I think it was the persistence and the added faith of this fellow minister that helped.
Another thing that influenced her healing was that today her faith was excited. You see she had confirmed a prophetic word that she would be healed after nine months. Well today was the end of the ninth month.
I am sharing this with you so that you will be encouraged to keep praying for people and to keep laying hands on them. Just because they don't get healed the first couple of times is no reason that we should give up on them or get offended. We want to keep standing for them until such time that they receive the full manifestation of their healing and for many people this is a process.
Yes, it is humbling when they can't seem to get their healing through you, but it's a good thing to stay humble in your own sight. The humble know God really well, but the proud he knows from far away (ref. Psalm 138:6). I don't know about you but I want to stay in God's arms all my life.
I Bless you as you go today. I decree that healing and miracles flow through your hands in Jesus' name, by His Spirit that abides in you! Amen! (ref. 1John 2:27, Mark 16:14-20, 1John 4:17)

Some Confessions I Like To Use Before I Go Out
Well Worn Confession Sheets |
Did you know that I fight fear every day that I don't speak God's word over myself? So take heart, I have learned to build myself up and so can you.
Thank You Lord that just like the other Apostles I speak the word of God boldly. (Acts 9:28, 13:46, 14:3 18:26, 28:31)
Thank You Lord that because of my boldness and persistence I will get what others have given up on. Hallelujah! (Luke 11:8-9)
Thank You Lord that my mouth shall deliver myself and a multitude of people. (Prov. 12:6)
Thank You Lord that my mouth commands healing to come to all people. (Prov. 15:4)
Thank You Lord That because I keep a tight rein on my mouth my religion is of priceless worth. (James 1:26)
Thank You Lord that my lips are not my own. They belong to you! (Ps. 12:4)
Thank You Lord that through Your power I am overcoming all unbelief. (Matt. 9:24)
Thank You Lord that I am bold because I'm righteous. (Prov. 28:1)
Thank You Lord that Your Spirit is mighty in prophesy and Your Spirit moves mightily through me!
THank You Lord that I am Bold and Stouthearted (Ps. 138:3)
Thank You Lord that I can't fail for winning and I can't lose for succeeding. I am more than a conqueror in all things through You. (Rom. 8:37)
Thank You Lord that whatever I put my hand to do prospers.
Thank You Lord that Your revelation light dawns for me in every situation I face. (Ps. 112:4)
THank you Lord that Your love is shed abroad in my heart right now. (Rom. 5:5)
Thank You Lord that as I practice loving people with Your love, all fear is cast out. (1John. 4:18)
Thank You Lord that I feed my faith and starve my doubts, every day.
Thank You Lord that my mouth speaks truth every day. Your word is truth.
Thank You Lord that I resist the devil (fear) and he flees!
Did you know that the more times you do what you know to do, even if you are afraid, the easier it will get? It's true. It's like you walk through a curtain of fear and then it's behind you and all you can see is God speaking and loving through you.
It's the most amazing thing. I have trained myself to be sensitive to Holy Spirit's nudges and now it's like I feel a tug at my heart when He wants me to go talk to someone. His love is nudging me, compelling me to make a difference. (2Cor. 5:14) The more you listen to His voice, the easier it gets to reach out past your comfort zone.
Don't be surprised if one of the first things Holy Spirit tells you to do is cut out some shows on tv. Your spirit man doesn't know the difference between make believe and reality and will react to the situations you see on tv. Remember, your eyes are a gate. You need to be careful what you let in so that your conscience does not get seared, tough or thick-skinned. (1Tim. 4:2)
Anyhow, these confessions will get you started renewing your mind. Have fun and don't be afraid to make up your own thankful confessions that suit your situation. These confessions have come from Bible verses that Holy Spirit highlighted to me one year. I write them down in the back of my journals as thankful confessions so that I have a quick reference to the verses the Lord wants me to renew my mind with.
I declare that you are blessed and highly favored and that your steps are bathed in butter (the anointing). Thank You Lord for releasing all the Angels assigned to my precious friend and may they (the Angels) get their testimonies today. Amen!
Blessings,
Brenda Gale Thompson

Reality Bites
Reality bites for today.
We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2Cor. 5:21)
Our old nature is dead. Rom. 6,7
Wherever there is great love, there are great miracles.
We are seated with him in Heavenly places. (Eph. 2:6)
We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus, the anointed one and His anointing. (ref. Eph 1:3)
The anointing we have received abides in us and will never leave. (1John 2:21-27)
For too long people have been trying to visit Heaven, or have a supernatural experience. That is like trying to get into a chair you are already seated in. Talk about a frustrating time. The reality is that we are already sitting in it! (ref. Eph. 2:6)
God inhabits the praises of His people. Therefore as I make the choice to make praise and thanksgiving a habit during my day the manifest presence of God which is Heaven starts to show up right here.
Repent for anything that might have caused you to sin and fall short of the glory of God. Plead the blood of Jesus and His glory will cover you again.
Did you get that? That's why God doesn't want us to sin. It causes us to fall short of the glory of God. He wants us in the glory. He's not trying to keep us out! He wants us to learn how to walk in the glory while we are doing our thing here on earth. We've prayed it so long, "Your kingdom (glory) come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
There is no time in the Glory. When God shows you something it's yours. Don't put off receiving it by saying, "One day I'll be Your minister" for example. Claim it now.
One time I saw a big treasure chest on a beach and I heard the Lord tell me to go open it. I opened it and there were gifts in it for me. So I started thanking God for my gift that I would receive. Wrong! Better to thank Him for the gifts He has given you now. There is no time in the glory so don't put off receiving anything Holy Spirit shows you. It might take you a while to get the revelation of who you are in the Spirit realm, so start now.
We have been made righteous. It's not about doing all the stuff to get clean. No where does the sacrifice have to clean itself before it can be used! That's the bosses job! In the same way when we offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to the Lord it's his job to clean us up! (Ref. Rom. 12:1-2)
In Zech. 3: 1-7 we see that Joshua the high priest got a new garment as soon as he showed up. We do too as soon as we enter his presence with our praise and worship. Just receive it by faith!
Bless you as you start to walk by faith, believing that Your Heavenly Father wants supernatural experiences for you. He's no respector of persons. So put on the worship music and praise and thank Him for a while. Repent as He leads to restore your fellowship with Him and then ask Him what He wants to show you. Close Your eyes and see what He shows you in your imagination. Enjoy! You know by faith that if you ask for bread, your Heavenly father will not give you a fish. He is forever faithful!
You are blessed and highly favored!

Carve Out Your Zone
I did. I remember worshiping and asking the Lord to flow through me one day and then I got told to go to the mall. I thought, "What's this about?", but I obeyed.
I got to the mall and I had stopped to ask the Lord where to go next, when a lady appeared in front of me, all of a sudden, to ask me something. When she got close there was, what I would describe as an explosion in the air between us. She immediately burst into tears and kept telling me, "Thank you, thank you, thank you."
I replied, "You're welcome. God bless you." As she walked away, I asked the Lord, "What was that all about?
He told me that the demon had to leave because I was carrying His presence around me. Cool eh? I immediately declared that she would be free forever.
I know this stuff is real. At work this week I asked the Lord how to help the people because there are so many colds going on around me. The Lord told me to heal them. So, I claimed healing for all the people close to me and I cast down any negative, idle words that they had spoken. They don't know better after all.
Guess what? They were all better by Friday. I just kept ignoring their negative confessions and when one lady said that she toke some vitamin c and she was not getting sick, I said, "I can agree with that!"
So there you go. I grew in this ability over time and so can you. I started taking authority over stuff affecting my own body first. (1 Pet. 2:24, Rom. 5:17, Phil 4:6, 1Cor. 2:16, Psalm 103:3-5) Then I started helping my family. Then once I knew how to stand and resist the devil for my whole family, I started helping my friends and my work-mates. (James 4:7, Matt. 10:8, 1Pet. 5:5-10)
For example, one time at work, I started to notice that after breaks, strange, weird things would happen on the production line. I got tired of all the problems this was causing and started asking God what was going on. The Lord told me that these people were picking up their evil spirits on break, while outside the plant and bringing them back in. Something in me rose up and said, "No way! This is God's turf while I am here." And I realized that I was affecting the spiritual climate of the whole plant. Amazing eh? It's true. We are destined to be more than conquerors through Him. We are spreading the fragrance of Him everywhere we go. Hallelujah! (2Cor. 2:14,16, Rom. 8:37)
In conclusion, I want to encourage you to start where you are at. Learn to walk tight with Holy Spirit; like He's your best friend, and He'll show you how to take authority over all that would try to come against you and what angels to release to fight for you. Believe you receive when you ask Him specific questions. He wants this for you. As you learn to trust Him and obey Him you will grow in authority. The best part is you are destined to win. You get to keep batting till you get a home run! (2Cor. 2:14)
Lord, I ask that you bless the person reading this. May they grow in revelation regarding Your plans for their lives. May they hear Your voice more clearly and know Your great love so much more, each and every day. Go ahead of them Lord and prepare the way for them, (Eph. 2:10). Help them to expect divine appointments every day. Give them a hunger to wait on You and seek You every day. Thank You for giving them the right words to speak to each person. Thanks. Amen!
