Hi Friends. Just an update.... I've been living in Edmonton for over three years and Alberta for four years. God put me in a really great church. For a while I wondered because we didn't have a pastor and we would get different speakers but the worship was great so I stuck it out.
Now we have Pastor Chris and Nicki Mathias from the States. The new name is The Summit Edmonton. It's been such a blessing because they believe in training up the believers and have a ministry team. Not only is it a protection from burnout for them but it's such great training for the body!
On top of that, Pastor Nicki is starting a school of music ministry for kids and people of all ages that want to learn how to play or sing or both! They'll be able to learn an instrument, learn how to be on a worship team and how to sing a new song to the Lord! How amazing is that? I am so thrilled for the people of our congregation!
Finally, we have a very anointed evangelist that goes out regularly to share at the malls and other places. I tried to connect with him once but it didn't work out. Think I'll have to try again.
All in all, the Lord has been restoring my hope. I know I need the body. I'm just one soldier in this army and I'm thrilled to bear witness with what God is doing!
God has promised to turn my scars into trophies and I'm seeing it happen before my eyes! The church is just one part, but so important to me! Hallelujah!
Here's the link to the facebook page where we have live services!

Have a great day with Him!
Blessings and hugs,

Flowing With The Holy Spirit
I love how our church encourages people to step out in their gifts. I know I am growing faster because I am using what I have already been given. I had a couple of new experiences last Friday that I want to share about as encouragement in case it ever happens to you.
I hope this helps you when you get opportunities to minister to people. Holy Spirit is faithful, he's never let me fall on my face yet! (Luke 21:13-19)
Lord what you have done for me, do for this precious person too. Give them boldness to step out of their boat and make a difference for you. Help them to ask clarifying questions to determine which way you want them to flow in every situation.
I decree that you rule and you reign through Jesus Christ. (Prov. 18:1, Rom. 5:17) The anointing you have received abides and remains on you. The holy of Holies is inside of you right now and you are building yourself up in your most holy faith by speaking and singing in other tongues. (1 John 2:27, Col. 1:26, Jude 20). Amen!
Bless you!
Big hugs,
Brenda Gale
A lady that I got to pray for last Friday night crumpled when I laid a hand on her. I felt a roar of indignation come out of me, Like "How dare you devil!" I wasn't sure what the roar was all about but it felt good! It was interesting that she felt she had to throw up as soon as I put my hand on her. When she crumpled I felt Holy Spirit insist that I keep my hand on her until he gave the release.
I asked the Lord what her problem was and he showed me some growths in her abdomen and she confirmed it when I asked-- fibrosis. She was mightily healed and felt much, much better.
I prayed for another lady after the preacher had to move on... he had felt the lump in her throat... moving. So I asked the Lord what to do and he gave me a few words of knowledge and a prophetic word that weren't about healing at all! I shared with her the words the Lord gave me and the direction I felt the Lord was prompting her to look for work in.
It was very cool... as her heart was encouraged and healed from emotional wounds her physical body responded as well. She must have thanked me 10 times.
Interesting eh? The Lord knew that emotional healing would remove the enemy's access point to attack her physically.
Next, on Friday morning as we gathered to pray for the evangelism team, I suddenly got a sore back when I looked at a fellow so I asked if anybody had a sore back. He said that his wife had just called and her back was extremely sore and she felt unable to look after their four young children. So we gathered around him and prayed for his wife that she would have a great day, that God would heal her back and that God would send encouragement and support her way via a phone call or visit.
It pays to ask the question when you get a word of knowledge. If no one responds all you have lost is your pride. I have had people come to me later and say, "Remember that word you gave? That was for my mom that I have been praying for." So, my thought is be obedient and let God look after your reputation.
I gave out some words of encouragement to a few teenagers before and after the service. I wasn't going to but the Lord kept at me so I obeyed. (Funny and tragic how quickly we can get caught by protocol and rules into doing nothing) These young men were not in the ministry line waiting for someone to pray for them and I didn't have a person with me when I prayed either. (Another protocol broken!)
One fellow was sitting behind me and this well of encouragement came out for him. I ended up praying that he would get a double portion of my song writing ability.
With one young man the word was about him coming out of the shadows because he was already a mighty man. Also, the Lord was very strong about not condemning himself because He was so proud of his 'tries'. He had a statesman's anointing and I felt it had the potential to go Canada wide. PTL!
Finally, I want to share that I missed it with team member. For the last two days whenever I looked at her I got a little pain in my rectum area. I meant to go ask her if she had an issue with hemorrhoids or something down there but never got the opportunity to ask her privately. I was not shocked when she shared about having tests on her colon. Now I know that that little pain I got was a real word of knowledge. PTL! I'm still learning and that's okay! Holy Spirit will do something else to cause people to pray. He's able! There is no condemnation for us! None! (Rom. 8:1)
I hope this helps you when you get opportunities to minister to people. Holy Spirit is faithful, he's never let me fall on my face yet! (Luke 21:13-19)

God's Not Answering
There comes a time in every Christian's life when you feel that God is not answering. Everything was going great and you could get blasted by Holy Spirit at every meeting, get healed, get touched and now it feels like nothing is going on.
I am hear to tell you not to give up. God only allows in His wisdom what He could easily prevent by His power. If you are not feeling His presence right now, it could be that you are moving into a new season of your life, where you walk by faith and not by sight (or sensation). This is quite normal in the Christian life and it's a sign of growth. You are getting rid of the diapers and moving into training pants.
You see, the only way you can personally please the Father is to walk by faith-- not sight (ref. Heb. 11:6). So that means you thank Him for touching you, even when you don't feel it, because you are convinced by the Bible's promises that God can't lie. If you ask Him to touch you, He is, whether you feel Him or not.
The same is true with regard to healing. I know some people who are upset because they still have some symptom or other and they have gone to many healing meetings. My heart goes out to them as I hear them express their frustration with God. "They've been healed before so why doesn't He do it now?" is the usual line I hear.
I don't have all the answers. I can share a bit from my own experience and I hope this will help you.
As we grow up, the Father wants us to grow in faith-- and faith is a muscle. We know that muscles that don't get used are not healthy and will eventually shrivel up. Therefore, we need obstacles to overcome for our faith to grow. We need to grow our faith and not rely on someone else's faith all the time.
Also, we can only give away with power the testimonies we have gained. Head knowledge doesn't cut it in the Kingdom of God. There's no 'umph!' with it.
I didn't have a preacher or a meeting that I could go to when I needed healing, so I went to the Word of God. I read the verse, that "by His stripes I was healed" and said, "That's mine." I knew that God can't lie and if He didn't want me to have that promise, He shouldn't have put it in His book. I already knew that He was no respecter of persons. (ref. Is. 53:5, Heb. 6:18, Acts 10:34)
Then I rested. I quit fretting and I let God be God. I stayed thankful and kept the praise and worship playing and tried to go on with my life as best as I could.
I was healed... It took me a while to realize it because it was progressive, like so many healings, but it started the moment I claimed it as mine and rested.
Our heads get us into so much trouble. We need to learn to take negative, doubt-filled thoughts captive and not speak them out loud. Negative talk has undone many a good healing confession.
Faith comes when you've planted the promise of God in your heart and meditated on it a while and it dawns on you. That's when you know you have the goods. Then you can pray and rest with a thankful heart.
Also, don't let circumstances or stress push you into messing up your faith-filled words. Many a healing has been lost by pressure. It's time to double up on the anointed word of God, not throw Your Bible on the shelf.
Then when you get to a healing meeting your faith will work with the ministry team person or preacher and not against them.
After you get a victory or two start giving away your victories by agreeing for healing for others when they go up for prayer.
Okay, enough said. Let me bless you now.
I declare that you are blessed, highly favored and passionate for God and His kingdom. May you plant the word of God deep in your heart and may it always bear fruit. May His word come back to your rememberance when you need it and may your life be full of blessing, in Jesus' name I ask. Amen!

Last Night Ministering, (written Nov. 27, 2010)
Myspace Graphics, God Graphics at WishAFriend.com
Hi Saints. Something unusual happened last night during the ministry time at our Friday night healing service so I thought I would attempt to share what happened.
I was sitting between two ladies in the front row of the church sharing some destiny words that the Lord had given me when one lady noticed that a leader was waving me over to come help him.
I excused myself and went over to help him and he told me to put my hand on the lady's lower back. I started to pray for her and got the giggles almost immediately because she wasn't receiving the anointing we were 'pulling in' for her. (Hang on, I will explain.)
I told this leader that there was a blockage and asked the Lord what to do and He told me "thankfulness". I didn't get the opportunity to talk to her as the other fellow was talking. We weren't getting very far as this blockage had her cut off from Heaven's flow.
The leader eventually left and I still had my hand on her back. Another man was praying for her and the Lord gave me a detailed word for him. He was so excited that it affected the lady, who I think was his wife. She turned to face me and I was able to give her a word of knowledge from God's heart and I could see it softening her heart. I then felt the Lord prompt me to share about choosing to be thankful.
I shared by way of example, "Thank You Lord that my feet don't hurt. Thank You Lord that my head doesn't hurt. Thank You Lord that I have shoes to wear. Thank You Lord for my wonderful husband and my beautiful children. Thank You Lord that I have a bed to sleep in."
As I was sharing this, God's presence showed up and her back got mightily touched and she started to move it around, from side to side and started talking really fast in an Asian language. She was so excited!
I explained to her how the Lord inhabits the praises of his people and that we enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise". (Psalm 16:11, Psalm 100:4) The Lord's presence backed off a bit while I shared this, so I started giving thanks again and a thick, tingly weight of God's glory came down on the three of us.
Talk about the Lord confirming the word that was spoken! I was rejoicing last night because some times I have shared the word and not felt His presence confirming it with signs and wonders.
These are new days. I was so encouraged to keep going. I asked the Lord to help me share with boldness outside of church again and He told me that if I would stay in thankfulness and praise that the anointing would flow wherever I was. Hallelujah! Now, we know that the Lord is 'no respecter of persons', so what He has told me will apply to your life too. (ref. Acts. 10:34) Therefore, I exhort to stay thankful and claim that His anointing flows through you every day.
Now go and expect Him to do mighty things through you! Bless you as you pursue Him for more in your life!
Big hugs,
Brenda Gale
