Waiting on the Lord

The Lord told me over a year ago that if I wanted to help birth this huge revival that I needed to spend 90% of my anointing on Him.  I have taken him at his word because he can't lie and He doesn't change.   He was the one who said that the pure in heart would see His face.  I am taking that promise to the bank.

That means that I haven't gone out to do much prophetic evangelism and I only went out to preach at a church once last year -- mind you I did prophesy over every person there, lol.  Most of my time was spent serving at my local church and waiting on the Lord.

Waiting on God is never a waste of time because it intensifies the anointing on you.  I led a little girl to the Lord a week or so ago.  I've been getting really accurate words of knowledge for people as I drive around and they've been healed. Just today I was able to share with a lady about the meetings at Kinburn and she wanted to know about God so I shared about getting saved, dreams and interpretation and I testified about all the different types of healings I've seen at Kinburn Revival.

Also, I went shopping  two weeks ago and I witnessed to the clerk, gave out some tracts to some young teens that were wandering around and I loved on a lady that God showed me was really lonely.

I want to encourage you to wait on the Lord every day.  He will give you your marching orders and make your time really fruitful.  We all want to make a difference right?  Lord, show us how!

On that note, here is a really good clip by Dave Reid, about the rewards of waiting on the Lord...
  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBl-QzkVaXo

The Lord gave me a verse to help me be tenacious.  It's Is. 42:4, "I will not falter or be discouraged until your justice is established in the whole world."  AMEN!  We won't quit or be discouraged. We build ourselves up in our most holy faith by praying in other tongues. We do seek the Lord while he may be found. We are bold and courageous because we study His word (Bible).

Here's the latest video clip of myself at church sharing a vision that the Lord gave me.  Let it ignite your heart to seek Him More!   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP92N5zfKXc

Bless you!

Confessions of a Street Preacher

I  realize now that I was a lousy street preacher.  I would get out to Sparks Street and set up my signs and everything and then, when I would want to start preaching, such love would fill me that all I could do was tell the people how much God loved them. I quit counting how many times I sang "Amazing Grace" and "Jesus Loves You" to the lunch crowds.

I got into trouble with the organization I was with because I couldn't stay on topic.  I had a hard time with some of their material. After preaching the same sermon a few times I would get bored and the needs of the people would cause me to preach what they needed to hear.  The decisions they were facing, the word of healing for a diseased body part, the encouragement they needed to get through another day. As I asked Holy Spirit what to say he would give me stuff to help them.

Funny enough, the religious folks were never happy no matter what I preached or shared.  Everybody got mad when I told them that Jesus was the way, the truth and the life.  The new age people got really mad when I would give out destiny words for free.

Yet, I never felt more alive than when I was out there.  If I could only preach what God wants me to preach and not have to worry about what others want or think, I think that would be pretty close to heaven on earth.

Yes there was tons of warfare. I saw many desert me because they misunderstood the warfare and got offended.  I saw many freak accidents around our farm as the warfare intensified..... the more people I was impacting the more exciting it got.  The devil tried.... but he didn't succeed. A few intercessors have stood by me faithfully and I got some valuable training.

I think I need a name change.... I am not a street preacher the way most people think of one. I am a ______  Preacher who loves to tell people that God loves them with an everlasting love and then demonstrate that love.

"Lord I ask that you would bless my precious friend. May they know your great love that won't leave them alone and may they hear your awesome voice today in new ways. Amen!"

Stay Small

I was asked to go to the hospital by a friend to visit someone that was diagnosed with cancer  months ago.  I was really excited because a fellow that does healing meetings was going to visit at the same time.

My girlfriend and I had prayed for our friend together a couple of times and we thought she had received her healing, but the symptoms continued.

This was a new day and one of the first things the fellow told her was to put the past in the past. Good thought. As he started to talk about examples in the Bible, I started to weep because I felt Holy Spirit's presence manifest around us.

He prayed for her and I probably wasn't as quiet as I should have been because I was excited and wanted to agree with him.  There is power in agreement! (ref. Matt. 18:19)

Afterwards, he shared how he knew, but he knew that she had received healing virtue and that if she would agree with God every part of her body would be healed, not just the cancers.

His praying was no different then our praying, Holy Spirit said, because the cancers would start to jump around whenever I prayed for her.  We knew we were on to something. I think it was the persistence and the added faith of this fellow minister that helped.

Another thing that influenced her healing was that today her faith was excited. You see she had confirmed a prophetic word that she would be healed after nine months.  Well today was the end of the ninth month.

I am sharing this with you so that you will be encouraged to keep praying for people and to keep laying hands on them.  Just because they don't get healed the first couple of times is no reason that we should give up on them or get offended.  We want to keep standing for them until such time that they receive the full manifestation of their healing and for many people this is a process.

Yes, it is humbling when they can't seem to get their healing through you, but it's a good thing to stay humble in your own sight.   The humble know God really well, but the proud he knows from far away (ref. Psalm 138:6). I don't know about you but I want to stay in God's arms all my life.

I Bless you as you go today.  I decree that healing and miracles flow through your hands in Jesus' name, by His Spirit that abides in you! Amen! (ref. 1John 2:27, Mark 16:14-20,  1John 4:17)

Flowing With The Holy Spirit

I love how our church encourages people to step out in their gifts.  I know I am growing faster because I am using what I have already been given.   I had a couple of new experiences last Friday that I want to share about as encouragement in case it ever happens to you.

A lady that I got to pray for last Friday night crumpled when I laid a hand on her.  I felt a roar of indignation come out of me, Like "How dare you devil!"  I wasn't sure what the roar was all about but it felt good! It was interesting that she felt she had to throw up as soon as I put my hand on her.  When she crumpled I felt Holy Spirit insist that I keep my hand on her until he gave the release.

I asked the Lord what her problem was and he showed me some growths in her abdomen and she confirmed it when I asked-- fibrosis.  She was mightily healed and felt much, much better.

I prayed for another lady after the preacher had to move on... he had felt the lump in her throat... moving.   So I asked the Lord what to do and he gave me a few words of knowledge and a prophetic word that weren't about healing at all!  I shared with her the words the Lord gave me and the direction I felt the Lord was prompting her to look for work in.

It was very cool... as her heart was encouraged and healed from emotional wounds her physical body responded as well.  She must have thanked me 10 times.

Interesting eh? The Lord knew that emotional healing would remove the enemy's access point to attack her physically.

Next, on Friday morning as we gathered to pray for the evangelism team,  I suddenly got a sore back when I looked at a fellow so I asked if anybody had a sore back.  He said that his wife had just called and her back was extremely sore and she felt unable to look after their four young children. So we gathered around him and prayed for his wife that she would have a great day, that God would heal her back and that God would send encouragement and support her way via a phone call or visit.

It pays to ask the question when you get a word of knowledge.  If no one responds all you have lost is your pride. I have had people come to me later and say, "Remember that word you gave? That was for my mom that I have been praying for."  So, my thought is be obedient and let God look after your reputation.

I gave out some words of encouragement to a few teenagers before and after the service.  I wasn't going to but the Lord kept at me so I obeyed. (Funny and tragic how quickly we can get caught by protocol and rules into doing nothing)  These young men were not in the ministry line waiting for someone to pray for them and I didn't have a person with me when I prayed either.  (Another protocol broken!)

One fellow was sitting behind me and this well of encouragement came out for him. I ended up praying that he would get a double portion of my song writing ability.

With one young man the word was about him coming out of the shadows because he was already a mighty man.  Also, the Lord was very strong about not condemning himself because He was so proud of his 'tries'.  He had a statesman's anointing and I felt it  had the potential to go Canada wide.  PTL!

Finally, I want to share that I missed it with team member.   For the last two days whenever I looked at her I got a little pain in my rectum area.  I meant to go ask her if she had an issue with hemorrhoids or something down there but never got the opportunity to ask her privately. I was not shocked when she shared about having tests on her colon. Now I know that that little pain I got was a real word of knowledge.  PTL!  I'm still learning and that's okay! Holy Spirit will do something else to cause people to pray.  He's able! There is no condemnation for us! None! (Rom. 8:1)

I hope this helps you when you get opportunities to minister to people.  Holy Spirit is faithful, he's never let me fall on my face yet!  (Luke 21:13-19)

Lord what you have done for me, do for this precious person too. Give them boldness to step out of their boat and make a difference for you. Help them to ask clarifying questions to determine which way you want them to flow in every situation.

I decree that you rule and you reign through Jesus Christ. (Prov. 18:1, Rom. 5:17)  The anointing you have received abides and remains on you.  The holy of Holies is inside of you right now and you are building yourself up in your most holy faith by speaking and singing in other tongues. (1 John 2:27, Col. 1:26, Jude 20). Amen!

Bless you!

New Knees!

I was helping with the ministry team on Tuesday night and happened to be beside the preacher as he prayed for a lady with metal in her knees.  She was in incredible pain just trying to stand up and move to where the preacher wanted the people to go stand for prayer.

When he prayed for her she went down and he moved on to pray for other people that had surgical metal in their bodies.  I could feel an empowering as I was praying for her and I saw a quick vision of leg bones with knee caps.  The Lord wanted me to pray for her so I downloaded knees into her by faith, while she was down on the floor.
She then moved her leg a bit and started to cry and when I asked what was going on, she told me that she this was the first time she hadn't been in pain bending her leg in 4 years.  Praise the Lord!   I found out that she had hurt herself while in military service and had had both knees replaced surgically.  She couldn't have been over 35 years old and was awfully young to be so debilitated.
I told the preacher  what was happening to her and he had her stand up and asked her what had happened. All of the pain and most of the metal was gone from both knees, so he prayed for the last little bit of metal to go (I joined in quietly) and she got totally healed.  I was so encouraged and empowered by the preacher's authority and to realize that I heard the Lord right and that he used me.

Also,  I believe I received something from the Lord as I prayed for the preacher... because initially I was just praying for the preacher, covering and protecting him in prayer.  He had asked the people to pray in tongues for him a couple of times... so I thought he might want help spiritually.  We can never out give God!

What an exciting service. I want to encourage you to get involved whenever you can because you get trained up as you help serve men and women of God.

Bless you today!  May you walk in the anointing you have received!
Big hugs,

Word at Dentist's Office

So you would tend to think after reading the last 4 or 5 posts that I am always this bold person, always flowing in words of knowledge and prophesy, right?

Think again! Yesterday I got busy at home before my dentist appointment and did not do my daily devotions or good confessions.  I was more concerned about what to get done on my tooth and praying for protection over the procedure, etc., etc.

So there I was, sitting in the dentist's chair with a frozen mouth, waiting on the dentist.  Getting a little bored, I thought to ask the Lord, "What's up with the dentist?"

I immediately got this picture of him working in another office and thought, "That's cool. I wonder if he is going to expand?  I asked the dental assistant when she came in and she said, "No, he's quite happy here."

So, I didn't mention the word to him.

Has it happened to you?  A little bit of discouragement comes, so you ignore the prompting of the Lord and shut down your gift.  I have done it countless times and you probably have too, without realizing it.

I have learned to repent quickly.  Then I revisit the words or visions I get and double check with Holy Spirit to see if I am right, by asking for more details and clarifying the vision. Second, I double check to make sure my motive is right-- I want to bless and encourage the person.  Third, I ask the Lord if I have missed my window of opportunity to deliver the word.

With that in mind, I went through my check list and then I sent the dentist an email about my word.  The worst case is, he will disregard it and think I am a little odd.  That's okay, I have already died to what other people think about me.  As long as Holy Spirit is happy, I am happy too.

The upshot is that my word might help him to recognize a God ordained opportunity when it comes.  God will always confirm His word. It's worthwhile being obedient.  I have had people come to me years later and thank me for the words I have given them, even those that rejected  the word initially.

I hope this helps you to step out of your comfort zone.  The thrill of being obedient to Holy Spirit and helping Him is far greater than any discouragement or backlash from a person.

Let's pray: "Lord help us all to be so Heavenly minded that we can help tons of people here on the Earth. Help us set our minds and affections on things above.  Holy Spirit expose the pride of our hearts so that it doesn't deceive us. Thank You Lord that because we love Your word we avoid pride and offense.  May we always be motivated by Your great love and may we always live in the light of eternity. Amen! " (Col. 3:1-3, Obed.1:3, Ps. 119:165,  1John. 3:18, John 9:4)

Have a great day with HIM!
Love and hugs,

Last Night Ministering, (written Nov. 27, 2010)

 Myspace Graphics
Myspace Graphics, God Graphics at WishAFriend.com

Hi Saints.  Something unusual happened last night during the ministry time at our Friday night healing service so I thought I would attempt to share what happened.

I was sitting between two ladies in the front row of the church sharing some destiny words that the Lord had given me when one lady noticed that a leader  was waving me over to come help him.

I excused myself and went over to help him and he told me to put my hand on the lady's lower back.  I started to pray for her and got  the giggles almost immediately because she wasn't receiving the anointing we were 'pulling in' for her. (Hang on, I will explain.)

I told this leader that there was a blockage and asked the Lord what to do and He told me "thankfulness".  I didn't get the opportunity to talk to her as the other fellow was talking.   We weren't getting very far as this blockage had her cut off from Heaven's flow.

The leader eventually left and I still had my hand on her back. Another man was praying for her and the Lord gave me a detailed word for him.  He was so excited that it affected the lady, who I think was his wife. She turned to face me and I was able to give her a word of knowledge from God's heart and I could see it softening her heart.  I then felt the Lord prompt me to share about choosing to be thankful.

I shared by way of example, "Thank You Lord that my feet don't hurt. Thank You Lord that my head doesn't hurt. Thank You Lord that I have shoes to wear. Thank You Lord for my wonderful husband and my beautiful children. Thank You Lord that I have a bed to sleep in."

As I was sharing this, God's presence showed up and her back got mightily touched and she started to move it around, from side to side and started talking really fast in an Asian language. She was so excited!

I explained to her how the Lord inhabits the praises of his people and that we enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise". (Psalm 16:11, Psalm 100:4)   The Lord's presence backed off a bit while I shared this, so I started giving thanks again and a thick, tingly weight of God's glory came down on the three of us.

Talk about the Lord confirming the word that was spoken! I was rejoicing last night because some times I have shared the word and not felt His presence confirming it with signs and wonders.

These are new days.  I was so encouraged to keep going.  I asked the Lord to help me share with boldness outside of church again and He told me that if I would stay in thankfulness and praise that the anointing would flow wherever I was.  Hallelujah!   Now, we know that the Lord is 'no respecter of persons', so what He has told me will apply to your life too.  (ref. Acts. 10:34) Therefore, I exhort to stay thankful and claim that His anointing flows through you every day.

Now go and expect Him to do mighty things through you! Bless you as you pursue Him for more in your life!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale

Quick Check List for Words of Knowledge

Hi Saints.   I keep meeting Christians who are unaware of how words of knowledge work so I'm going to give you a power packed,  in depth list to help you.

First of all,  all of us have had a word of knowledge at some point in our lives. The problem is we didn't recognize it.  You can feel it when you walk into a room where an argument is going on.  The people might be quiet but you are picking up on the spiritual ambiance.

The second time is when there are people around you with colds, sneezing and coughing.  All of a sudden your throat starts to get sore or you start to sniffle.  Yes, that's a word of knowledge. It takes 24 to 48 hours for a cold virus to incubate in your body so why the instant sniffles?   God wants you to pray for others.  Freely you have received, freely give.  (Matt. 10:8)

The biggest clue to recognizing a word of knowledge as it comes to your various senses, is that you didn't have it a few minutes ago.  The best thing you can do is ask Holy Spirit, "Is this for me or for somebody else?" As you get better (with practice) at discerning the various words of knowledge around,  you will be able to ask who is it for and the Lord will give you more details.

Keep praying in tongues and stay in thanksgiving and praise so that your spiritual gate will not be shut.  We are the living gates of Psalm 24 after all.

You might get a different sensation for a particular sickness than I do and that's okay.  Just keep asking Holy Spirit questions and realize that you are the Lord's hands and feet in this world right now.  Rebuke the sickness, cast the spirit out into dry places, in Jesus' name  and declare, "You are healed in Jesus' name," then claim them for the Kingdom of God. ( Job. 22:28, 1 Pet. 2:24, Luke 18:19, Matt. 12:43) Finally, remember it takes on average eight witnesses for a person to get saved.  Your word of knowledge is an important part of God's effort to get them saved, healed and delivered.

So here's my list:

-Sniffles or an itchy nose = a cold virus.

-sore throat  = sore throat from a cold or from singing, preaching too long.

-a pain under my right arm pit = cancer (to me) from when I fought off breast cancer curse in my early thirties.

-people with moving pain symptoms = spirit of infirmity.  Loose angels to get rid of it.

-sudden desire for someone for no reason (visual, sensual)  = spirit of lust

-Pin pricks on the top of my head = witchcraft.  Break any and all  curses (Is 54:17),    using Psalm 149: especially verses 6-9) Loose angels to take them out.

-sudden sharp pain in my ear= somebody telling lies or an ear infection.

-Brain fog, sudden loss of words = curse or witchcraft,  (Bind wicked king,  Balak using Psalm 149 and your angels)  This Happens a lot to street preachers and ministers. The enemy is trying to stop the anointed word from getting out.

-People dozing in the service = Spirit of religion.  Decree that they are hungry for the Word and alert to receive.  Can be a hot room or it's a spirit attacking, religion lethargy and complacency... especially if you notice that after you pray for some people, others in a different area of the church start to doze.

-Any sudden body pain =  word of knowledge for somebody in the vicinity or it can be for a loved one. Ask the Lord questions to help you pin point it.

-Arguing, fighting = strife, spirit of contention and fighting.

-Cynicism, superiority, disdain = spirit of pride, criticism  (leviathan spirit).

-People misunderstanding me or twisting what I say = spirit of leviathan. Loose your angels to take care of things.  Decree that the plans of the enemy are confounded in your life.  Decree that You walk in God's favor all the time,  You are a blessing everywhere you go.

-Hypocritical people criticizing those who try to act on the Word.= religious spirit, Haman or Pharaoh  are the strong men.  Loose your angels and tell the enemy where he can go.

-Sharp pain in an eye= can be a physical word for someone or it can be a blinding spirit to keep you from revelation.  Also, cockatrice spirit operates this way.

-Head ache pain = Can be physically caused but also, unforgiveness, bitterness, oppression or Jezebel spirit attacking. Keep a short account with the Lord.  He wants you to stay in His presence and not to fall short of His glory.  Also watch judgmental words spoken against leadership in particular.

-Sudden heaviness or negative thoughts  when you were happy a minutes before = someone around you might be struggling with depression or oppression.  Decree  that sighing and sorrow must flee away.  You have been given Joy in His presence,  and your cup runs over.  (Is. 35:10,  John 15:11, Luke 10:21, Psalm 23:5)  Claim that  the Lord's oil of joy would overflow in your/their lives. (Is. 61:3)

-Sudden flash of blackness or hopeless feeling = spirit of suicide or a death curse.  Break it and speak life over the person. Get their angels activated.

-Pain around my heart = heart problems most of the time but it's also been a spirit of death Holy Spirit wants me to rebuke.  Also, get their angels going to help them out.

There are probably more words of knowledge that I have come across, but this will get you started.  The most important thing I can advise you to do is stay humble.  Ask the Lord what it is, who is it for and what He would like you to do with it.  As you can tell... I am  the Lord's question box and He's never, ever gotten upset with me for asking questions. What He's done for me He will do for you because He is no respecter or persons. (Acts 10:34)

Finally, make sure you bind any retaliation, backlash or transference of spirits after you pray for anybody. Keep your armor on (Eph 6), plead the blood of Jesus over yourself, practice speaking good words (Phil 4:8) and keep the praise coming out of your mouth. (Eph. 5:19, Col. 3:16) That makes you pretty well invincible, Hallelujah!

I Bless you, in Jesus' name; physically, spiritually, mentally and financially.  Lord, help this precious person to hear and recognize the words of knowledge around them and give them wisdom what to do with them. Give them the anointing You've given me, please. (If you were here I would lay my hands on you and impart to you, to accelerate your growth)  I declare that you do have lots of joy in your journey with the Lord. Amen and Amen!

Waterslide Ministry

I took my daughter to the waterslide park yesterday because there was a free event put on by CHRI, the local Christian radio station. It started to rain so I sought shelter and it got really crowded when the thunder and heavy rain started. I was praying quietly for everyone that tempers wouldn't flare and that the love of God would manifest because we'd been waiting a long time for the rain to stop.

Then a latino fellow started playing his guitar and a sing-a-long started. I squeezed my way over so I could hear and join in and we had a great time exalting Jesus and encouraging one another in the Lord. Later, he played a song where we were supposed to reach out and show Christian love by greeting one another so I overcame my own hesitancy and reached out.

As soon as I did I started getting impressions and words for people so I quickly shared them as I went from one person to another. It was so cool. There was an openness there and I felt Holy Spirit smiling as I looked to see the gold in people.

I kept singing under my breath as the rain stopped and people slowly went back to their regular activities.

I still had to fight fear with my words... the enemy did not want me encouraging people. That's all the devil has is fear... so do like I do and tell him to take a hike. You have "not been given a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind." (2Tim. 1:7) You are bold because you are righteous. (Prov. 28:1)

Sometimes I only get one word or a picture and I've learned it's better to speak the one word that God gives you and trust Him to give you more, than to sit and wait and hope that you'll get another word. I have missed many opportunities waiting for more words. Just like Peter we have to step out of the boat, figuratively and trust that He'll come through for us.

Anyhow I must have shared words with about twenty people. It went really well except for one guy. When I first saw him I got, 'Double Life.' That's not the kind of word that I want to go speak to someone because I was thinking, okay he's hiding something and I've pegged him.

Wrong. I took those thoughts captive. (2Cor.10:4-5) I asked the Lord for something else for him. Didn't get anything. Sigh. I asked the Lord if He really wanted me to go talk to this man. "Yes." sigh, okay...

When I went up to him and told him the word I had, his guard went up, and I told the Lord (in my head) "See, I told you!" but then I got some more. It turns out there was a great disconnect between this guy's past and his present life and the Lord wanted to bring healing and restoration into his past. (That wasn't so bad eh?)

So I shared what the Lord gave me then I blessed him. He said, "Oh, okay." The relief was evident on his face.

That's something I learned from Graham Cooke. When you get a negative word of knowledge, ask the Lord to tell you what to prophesy to counteract that negative word. Prophesy is always for edification, exhortation, comfort and encouragement. We never want to do the devil's work for him by criticizing or judging someone.

Anyhow, it was a great day. I saw one of the guys I shared a word with on the way out and he invited me to the radio station for a visit. Said he liked the spirit our church was operating in. Amen to that!

I have awesome leaders now. There's an openness at our church and it's so awesome to be a part of what God is doing. I have found a new freedom to be who God created me to be and all I can say is "Thank You Lord!"

If you want some of this anointing, let me pray for you.
Lord I bless the person reading this. I ask that Your kingdom come in their lives and Your will be done in your lives right now. Thank You Lord for breaking off the hindrances in their lives. Open up the possibilities in their lives to hear Your voice and to act on it. Let your love and compassion compel them to make a difference everywhere they go in Jesus' name I ask. Amen!

Now go praise and worship Him and expect Him to keep His word and inhabit your praises. Then ask Him to show you the gold in people and believe you receive it and share His love and encouragement.

When I started, all I had was His love and I would go bless people and it took me a while to recognize all the impressions I was getting were for them and not me or random things. So go have fun learning how to be His Living Sacrifice, full of His glory and passion, making a difference.
I declare that your life will never be the same. Hallelujah!
