Horses in Visions and Activation

I just got confirmation of something that's always bugged me.   I enjoy riding my horses as time permits and I was wondering why the horse I have in Heaven (that I see in my spirit) doesn't have a bridle or reins on her.    I told the Lord that I needed a saddle on her so that I wouldn't fall off and he acquiesced to my request.  But no bridle....   That's a scary ride on the earth for sure.

Now I'm hungry for more of God.  I want to be like Brother Lawrence that practised the presence of God all the time and people got so blessed when he would do the dishes in the monastery.  Some of them even collapsed because of the glory shining out from him!

Back to my story... so I'll be walking around in a heavenly realm asking the Lord, "what do you want me to see?" and my horse come up behind me and nudge me on the shoulder.  It's so special when a horse does that.   They want to be with you and that's a big, big compliment!

Anyhow,  yesterday I was listening to Bruce Allen teaching about Translation by Faith on Youtube and he talked about how the horses in heaven  don't have bridles or reins because the bond is love!

That makes perfect sense!   When I get on my horse in heaven, I just think something and we're there.  You can ride around if you want, but if you want to go somewhere fast you can do it in an instant.

If I've lost some of you remember that Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is at hand.  And Paul said that we are seated with Him in Heavenly places.  That means that our spirits are already engaging the realm of Heaven and that we can go there by faith whenever we want. We have access through the blood of Jesus into everything Father God has dreamed/planned for us.

As we determine to be a living sacrifice The Father has made provision for us to be cleaned up and presentable to him. Our job is to offer all of our dreams, ambitions, hopes and desires to him and to be willing to become of no reputation (like Jesus).... Then He will make us fit to do the Master's work.  That's his part.

I'm excited to be used by Father God more and to help more people.  I'm excited to see what he'll show me today.   So in a practical way you can start by putting on the praise  and worship music and repent of any sin that Holy Spirit shows you.  Then when you feel the spirit of worship start to worship and when you feel his presence ask Holy SPirit what he wants to show you.  Close your eyes and look and you'll see the blackness turn into light,,, then gradually pictures.   You can check with Holy Spirit to confirm what you are seeing.  That's a simple way to activate your spiritual vision. The more you practice the easier it gets.  Also, there are other ways to engage the Kingdom on Heaven that I'll explain in another article.

If you want this then please speak this prayer out loud:
Lord Jesus, I want to be yours today.  Please let me be your living sacrifice today.  I give all of myself to you to do with as you choose.   Thank you for opening my eyes and my ears to hear your truth.  Thank You for giving me a teachable heart today and a hunger for your words today.

I command every deaf and dumb spirit and every spirit of unbelief to come off me in the Name of Jesus and cover myself and my family and my home with the blood of Jesus. Every black hood of spiritual blindness come off us now, in Jesus' name!

Thank you Lord for activating me in the things of your Kingdom. Thank You Lord for teaching me how your kingdom operates.  I believe I receive impartation to engage in your Kingdom by faith today. Thank you for dreams and visions of Heaven  today and every day.  Thank You Lord that YOU want this for me, your child.  Amen!

Have a great day with Him!

Horse Testimony

Here's a testimony from last week.  A friend was having problems with her horse that had foundered very badly last year, to the point that some thought it would be better to put the horse down.

Well thanks to God and a lot of persistent people the horse survived and was doing quiet well although it wasn't on grass.

I knew that God could heal the cause of the foundering because he did it in an old mare I bought, not knowing that she had foundered.  The farrier enlightened me when he trimmed her hooves the first time.  I looked up what foundering meant and realized what a chore if would be to try to keep this horse off of rich grass in the Spring.  So I asked the Lord to reverse the diagnosis and heal the cause of the foundering.

Well, every Spring thereafter I would remind this mare that she didn't have founder and that she was going to be just fine on grass.  Now I wasn't stupid.  I normally put them out for a couple of hours the first day or two then increase it to about 10 hours for a few days, then I let them out full time.

God answered and she was always fine with no swelling or discomfort.

Back to my girlfriend's horse.  She had been through this harrowing experience with her horse and didn't have the faith to believe that God could reverse the diagnosis.  I understood completely, so I volunteered to go pray for her horse in person.

I showed up on the day she asked me to come and no one was around.  The dogs were barking wildly, but nobody was up.  The Lord told me to go ahead and pray for the horse.  So I walked to the back paddock and all the horses tried  to greet me, except the one I wanted.

I shooed the others away and when I started to pray he walked away from me, time and time again.  I asked the Lord to break off any curses that had been spoken over him and immediately he settled down and let me scratch him.  What a character he was!  I asked the Lord what was up and he said that the horse wasn't used to seeing the Glory on people.  Hmmm..... that's something to think about.

Nothing significant happened that I can recall and I didn't get stopped by any suspicious people.  I went home and carried on with my daily routine.

I sent my girlfriend a text to let her know that I had been over in the morning and that she could start him on grass anytime.

I got a call the next morning and  she said,  "How could you have known that he was going to get out last night and eat grass ALL NIGHT LONG?"

I replied, "I didn't. I just did what God told me to do."

"Well,  he got out last night and was happily munching grass all night and he's fine. No swelling and he's not lame."

Was she every happy.... That was quite the testimony for those who know this horse and his history.

Praise the Lord!  The only diagnosis that is permanent is the one you won't ask King Jesus about.

I bless you today! May you be challenged to let Jesus be Lord over all.  What he says goes.... that's the way to live. Amen."

Horses and Seeking the Lord

Hi there.  In this pic we are trying out our winter legs. Our horses are pretty skittish in the winter.  They love the cooler temps and want to play around-- not the safest thing when you are trying to ride them.  It doesn't help that they haven't been ridden in a few months!

Here we are making our way into the crusty snow.   The other horses are about 20 meters away so she's being pretty good.  The compost pile has caught her attention.

You would wonder how I have time to seek the Lord, go riding and still get everything done that I need to do.  It's amazing, but somehow the Lord gives back the time.   He helps me prioritize my day, tells me when to call people, when to do things and I get so much accomplished!  It's a new miracle every day.

Here is one last pic of us getting ready to ride.  I am checking out her attitude and stress level to hopefully ascertain if it's safe to ride on the driveway.  Winter riding with all the icy conditions is always interesting. The riding ring and round pen where I would usually ride are in deep snow.   I don't want to go without  angelic protection-- that's for sure!

Thanks for reading.  I am working on some video clips from church footage that will encourage you.  Check out my youtube channel "beloved4evr" especially during the winter (less work on the farm equals more time for video clip making).

Bless you!

I Love you More than Horses...

I Love the Lord so much yet I can easily let other things crowd out my time with him every day.  This is a constant struggle between being and doing.

Today I choose again to be a Mary who seeks and worships instead of a Martha who is so busy doing that she gets frustrated with everything it seems! (ref. Luke 10:38-41)

I wrote this song last November when I was determining to pursue Him.
Maybe you don't love horses but you can substitute whatever is taking your time from Him in the song to make it fit your life.

Enjoy!

Pipe Dreams

PIPE DREAM

Have you ever had someone tell you that your hope was a pipe dream and to get with it?  Well, I was surprised yesterday when someone told me this.  I was sharing about how our church is hoping to one day be able to support house missionaries, to spread the revival fire across Canada and the States.  Not a bad dream to have because it's a Kingdom motivated dream or hope.

It costs money to send people especially when they have to give up their work to do it, so we are stretching our faith, but that's okay.  Faith needs something to work on because it's a muscle.  Faith that can't be tested, can't be trusted.

Anyhow,  I was told to throw away my pipe dream and get with reality.   I didn't respond right away because I didn't want a fight and I'm trying to grow in the fruit of the spirit.  A fool vents all his anger but a wise man holds it in, right? Right. (ref. Prov. 12:6)

I started thinking about all the things people have told me I would never do and all the dreams people, well meaning people have told me to give up on and I got excited.

I started shouting, "Thank God for pipe dreams!" Thank God for the wild dreams that He gives us because He is able to bring them to pass!  I yelled, "Ha!" and it felt really good.

People told me I would never amount to anything, that I would always be a failure.  I went on to get my Engineering degree, with good marks and I have had several careers along the way!

People told me that I wasn't a good mom and I almost believed it. Thank God the worker at the Children's Aid Society took the time to open my eyes to see that I was doing a fine job with my daughter-- before I gave her up for adoption.

People told me that I would be back within three months when I shared how God was leading me to move to Ottawa, Ontario.  I was originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba which is about 2350 kms away. Ha!  I want to tell you that I have been living in the Ottawa area for 23 years so far.

People told me to sell my horse-back riding saddle because with all the debt I had and being a single mom it was a pipe dream to think of owning horses again.  I want to tell you that I have owned 15 horses over the last 17 years and I have a huge barn with foaling stalls and standing stalls, two run-in sheds, a round pen and a 1.5 acre riding ring on my property.  God promises that if we seek him with all our hearts that he will give us the desires of our hearts.  It's true!  He did that an so much more than I could ever initially hope for!

People thought it was impossible for Canada to be covered with the Glory of God as the waters cover the sea, but we are seeing it grow and spread over the last 12 years thanks to groups like the Watchmen, ( http://www.watchmen.org/ )

So, my advice is laugh!  I started laughing while I was working yesterday because I know how great my God is!  I have received the spirit of adoption. I know I am not an orphan!  My God loves me so much, he is not going to let me fall!  He takes no delight in seeing his children beat up by the devil. He specializes in making the weak and foolish look super.  Thank God we all qualify for his help.

Does anybody have any pipe dreams I can agree with you about in prayer?  It's time we started speaking to our mountains and asking the Lord for strategies. Oh, and let's make sure we ask for joy in our daily journey with Holy Spirit.  That's what he wants most of all-- our fellowship. I Bless you in Jesus' name; spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and relationally. Amen!

P.S. A good song to start with is Steve Swanson's "Changing the Atmosphere".  Here is a link to a youtube video of this song.  Awesome declarations!     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWqWauY0Nds&feature=related
