Driving my bus and leigh lines

Hi there.   I'm working  late night shifts  driving around the city.  I love it! Gives me lots of time to pray and sing over the city and I've had lots of encounters too!

I claim the glory of God on my bus and its amazing how some  people are drawn to my bus and others are repulsed.   Yay God!

I pray for people too as the the Lord leads.   Most times I just bless them or ask them if I can pray for them first.  Haven't been turned down yet!

The other night I was  driving along and came across some  leigh lines that had been contaminated so I was cleansing them as I usually do.  Then this fellow appeared at my right door as I drove (in the spirit).   As soon as I saw him he disappeared. Lol.  I think he was freaked out that I could see him!    He tried to throw a forgetful curse at me... didn't work of course.

Made me sad that there are so few Christians taking authority over their neighborhood that this guy came to check out who was busting up his pentagram over the area  in the spirit realm.

Friends its so easy to do this!   Just pray "Lord, your will be done  and your Kingdom come in this area just as it in in Heaven!  Let your angels get their testimonies  and let me be your worship warrior, in Jesus' name! Amen!"

Then I sing the song the Lord prompts me to sing as I drive and decree what he nudges me to decree over each area.

My advice is start with your street and Remember to break off all retaliation, backlash and transference of spirits hourly and you'll be fine!

Why you say? Because your enemy is a dirty fighter.  If you punch him he's going to punch you back where ever you hurt.  So be ready for it.  You are a soldier!   We rule and reign with the words and songs we speak or sing out of our mouths.   No words,,, no victory!  Wrong words and you've just helped the devil steal, kill and destroy....  The Choice is yours!

Needless to say I major on God's mercy!   It's only by his mercy and grace that I'm doing anything at all!

Nuff said.

Have a great day with him!

An Oasis

Pic from wikipedia.com
I will never forget the first time I went to West Carleton Christian Assembly (Kinburn Revival).  It was on a blustery Friday night, Jan. 1st as I remember.  There weren't many cars in the parking lot but I didn't care.  I had heard that God's presence was welcomed there and I was desperate for living water.

Just a few weeks earlier the church I used to go to had a guest speaker and his band ministering.  I was praising and dancing like a fool at the back of the church when a lady commented on how hard I was dancing.  I told her that I was so desperate for a breakthrough that if God told me to dance naked I would have.  That ended that conversation!

So anyhow, I got to this church I heard about  and had to wait for someone to unlock the door.  When I walked in I could feel in the spirit that it was different.  I started to pray and seek the Lord and the service started soon after.  When they invited worshipers to the front I was thrilled!  That's my favorite place to be!  It's so much easier to focus on the Lord when there's no one in front of you, at least for me it is.

During the worship the Lord told me to lay down on the floor. I hesitated and then thought, "What have I got to lose?"  Well did the Lord ever minister to me!  A fellow came by and told me to sit up a couple of times so he could give me a prophetic word and I couldn't!  I was pinned to the floor by an invisible force and I felt Holy Spirit taking away layers of pain and disappointment.  It was awesome!   I didn't want to get back up.  Wave after wave of love and encouragement flooded my soul and healed my heart.

This church has been an oasis for so many people.  This song goes out to all the people looking for an oasis.  May you find one within driving range soon!

Glory Within....

The glory of God is coming out of us.  We keep looking around for the glory of God to come down and visit but God keeps telling me to release the glory that's already in me.   As I do by praying for others for healing, blessing etc.,  the joy of the Lord increases in me and I can feel the level of fiery glory increasing inside of me.  It's so awesome!

So for me the key is to praise and worship and then ask Holy Spirit what I am allowed to declare over people, situations, cities etc.  As I release his 'now' word I have occasionally seen small bursts of light out of the corner of my eyes.  I asked the Lord what it was and he said that it was angels taking off.

I hope this helps you.  We can all release the measure of God that we have already received.  Spending time with the Lord is never a waste.  You cannot give your time to the Lord in waiting on him and singing to him the songs he wants to hear and not come away changed.  It's impossible.  He's the greatest giver there ever was.  If he wouldn't withhold his son from us, how can we think that he won't freely give us all things?

Last Friday night our worship leader was playing and prophesying.  She encouraged us to say his name, "Jesus".   I took it one step further by singing who he was to me, Wonderful Counselor,  Prince of Peace, my lover, my helper, my Savior, Righteous Judge, Rose of Sharron, Ancient of Days.  The glory of God increased  as the spontaneous song went up.  A fellow told me later that as he came to stand behind me during the worship he nearly fell down.    I was blissfully unaware of what was going on.

Holy Spirit loves our worship.  I was taught by Ray Hughes about the power in a spontaneous song and it's so true.  Try it out sometime! Here's the link to the article I wrote about it... http://greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.ca/2010/09/new-song-impact.html

Have a blessed day with Him!

I Love you More than Horses...

I Love the Lord so much yet I can easily let other things crowd out my time with him every day.  This is a constant struggle between being and doing.

Today I choose again to be a Mary who seeks and worships instead of a Martha who is so busy doing that she gets frustrated with everything it seems! (ref. Luke 10:38-41)

I wrote this song last November when I was determining to pursue Him.
Maybe you don't love horses but you can substitute whatever is taking your time from Him in the song to make it fit your life.

Enjoy!

Vision & Video

I have been wanting to advertise all that God has been doing in our church (www.wcca.ca or Kinburn Revival on Facebook)  to encourage others.  We have not arrived by any means. We are just a group of people with a hunger for God and some awesome pastors that are encouraging us to grow in our gifts.

I am learning Adobe so I can make dvd's of the services. An off shoot of this is that I can make video clips of some of the highlights.

So I thought it would be a good idea to share this clip.  As you can see, I have a  lot to learn about stage presence and public speaking skills. Yet... people told me there were blessed by what I shared!

Pastor Darren's word after I share is especially encouraging.  If God can use us than He can certainly use you!!! Be encouraged!  Here's the link:

Help with Worship

Not our church (but it sure is cute!)
I was at our church this past Sunday and the praise had already started. Some people were getting involved, but many were just watching.  Pastor Darren exhorted the people to step past their situations and make the choice to praise the Lord anyway.

During the next song I saw a vision.  As the song started I saw a vivid green expanse and people standing in various places.  As they started to get involved in the praise and worship clouds began to form around them individually.  It was the most amazing thing to watch.  Then the most intoxicating smell from a cloud hit my nostrils and I was smitten with it. I don't know what it was, but it smelt heavenly-- like a really good quality perfume-- yet even better.  I know that the prayers of the saints are like sweet smelling incense. Perhaps our worship is like that too. (ref. Rev. 5:8)

The clouds were translucent and different sizes around the people.  Some people were totally engulfed by their shimmering cloud and others were only partially obscured.  There were angels helping the people to enter into worship.

It was a beautiful scene and it was really blessing the Father's heart.  I could feel Holy Spirit's joy.

Just think, our choice to worship the King despite everything that's going on, causes us to give off the sweetest fragrance to the Lord. I know that every time we make mention of His name there is a record made in His book of remembrance. (ref. Mal. 3:16)

This vision reminded me of the verse, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. " (John 4:23) Imagine, the Father, the Creator of the Whole Universe is seeking those who will get past themselves and give him the worship and adoration that He deserves.

In return, we get touched by his presence and find that things change: solutions to problems come, peace comes, healing comes, demons flee... all in His presence.

Amazing, a precious lady got a song in the Spirit which we all sang and many were touched during the service.  Praise the Lord!  To God be all the glory forever and ever!

I pray that you are encouraged to press in to praise and worship Him regardless of what's going on in your life.  He is worth it!  We can never, ever out give him!

I bless you, in Jesus' Mighty, Mighty name!

Corrected by Holy Spirit, LOL

Cute corrections.
Well did I ever get shown differently last night at church.  If you read my last post I talked about sometimes feeling like a raft at sea attempting to steer in the direction Holy Spirit wanted.   Did I ever get an upgrade last night.

I got to church late, which is never good, but sometimes happens-- it's called family.

Praise and worship was good,  the first vision I saw was of some grey things (spirits) which the Lord told me to get rid of.  The second time I ascended I saw some flashes so I knew that there were angels in our midst.  I decreed that they would get their testimonies and that no one would go home the same.

The third time Holy Spirit asked me what do I see and I saw lots of turquoise blue water.  Tons of water and a small raft with a home made triangular sail.   You guessed it, I was on the raft.  I watched in slow motion as the wind would blow a little, the sharks would come close but not touch me and even a sea gull came to visit to keep me company.

I asked Holy Spirit what was the meaning of all this and he said that EVERY detail of my life has been planned out. He is ever attentive to us, his beloved.  There isn't a tear we shed that isn't stored in crystal bottles in Heaven (ref. Psalm 56:8)  He has engraved us on the palms of his hands and even counted the hairs on our heads (ref. Is. 49:16, Luke 12:7)

So though you might think you are all alone and spinning your wheels, Holy Spirit doesn't think so.   He has your future all mapped out and as long as you try to hear and heed his voice, you'll get to the right destination at the right time.

I really felt that his grace is over us at this time, great grace even. (Ref. Acts. 4:33) I remember a word that Russ Moyer had for our church.  "Transition is a place of great pain, like child birth.  He's going to bring us in. Obey, obey, obey!" (Nov. 25, 2011)

On top of that two people came up to me and said basically the same thing and one lady prayed that people would intercede for me so I can make it to this new place in God. That really encouraged me.

May we all be encouraged to press into the transition.  May we all have a prophetic upgrading of our thought lives so we can see new things and go new places and envision our future.  Amen!

I bless you spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, financially and relationally, in Jesus' Name!

Advancing To A New Level

Advancing to the Next Level
I have been feeling that God wants me to keep pressing in for more.   I am just like every one else... I have lots to do and the days go by really fast.

So how do we keep God's priority our main focus?  I don't have any really good answers.  I feel like a ship at sea that doesn't have a map and I'm getting occasional radio messages.  I'm sure you've been there too.  You've headed out on your ship of faith with a goal but then all these storms and winds come and blow you off track.  It really messes up your plans if you know what I mean.

Sometimes we slow down and play with the radio trying to catch a transmission so we can get our bearings and figure out how to adjust our steering.

Sometimes we just give up and drift at sea, at the mercy of the winds and ocean currents.

Sometimes we get going so fast and then bam! we get a transmission that shows if we keep going the same direction we will end up hopelessly lost.  It's a tough go no matter how you look at it.

That's when the encouragement from another brother or sister on their ship of faith can really help.

Well, the good news is that our brother, Bobby Connor has heard from the Lord and we are on track. As usual, the message is the same, "Keep seeking the Lord!"

I have to laugh, of course the answer is to keep seeking the Lord.  That will always be the answer! Funny how encouraging it is to hear that line coming from somebody else.... we really aren't doing this alone.  I know it feels like the whole world is passing us by when we spend time with the Lord, but all over the world there are other Christians that are setting aside their busy schedules to wait upon the Lord and to listen to what he has to say.

Therefore, let us press on toward that high mark of the calling we have in Christ Jesus.  The last time I checked God was still looking for full grown sons and daughters. I am signing up to become one of them.  We are changed from glory to glory as we stand in his presence, so seeking him with praise and worship is definitely worth it! (ref. Phil. 3:14, Rom. 8:19, 2Cor. 3:18)

I bless you as you make time to seek God and to hear his voice.  He is worth it!  There is no God like our God who works on the behalf of those who wait on him! (ref. Is. 64:4)

Bobby Conner's article on Elijah List can be found here. He is so encouraging and it's well worth the read.

Soaring on Eagle's Wings

Red-tailed Hawk

I've seen a red-tailed hawk twice in the last week or so, one even on the left shoulder of the road as I drove by!  It didn't fly away and I got to see it so close that I could see the wind ruffling it's feathers.  What  a thrill!  I was rejoicing and praying for him/her all the way home. Then I saw one yesterday perched in a large tree right over the road I was driving down. In December, yet!  It's cold here in Eastern Ontario, the thermometer has been between -10 and -20 centigrade for almost a week.

I couldn't believe how big their eyes were!  These birds can see so well and their beaks are large and strong.

I really believe that the Lord held him there for me because I enjoy them so much. Some people get prophetic encouragement from seeing different types of numbers, I get encouragement from seeing these big birds.  I especially love to see how they soar and ride the air currents.  It's a big reminder to me of how we are supposed to act during the storms of life.

You don't see an eagle hiding from a strong wind or a storm. Nope, they are in their element riding and coasting on the air currents, soaring higher and higher. This is how Christians are supposed to be. Whenever the winds of adversity or affliction are blowing, they only cause us to ride higher and higher in praise and worship to our King.

On that note, I'm going to spend some time just loving on the Lord; asking him what he'd like me to sing to him or play for him and then I will pause and listen to what he would like to tell me.   Truly, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not be faint." (Is. 40:31)

Let me bless you: "May you always be able to soar on the winds of the spirit regardless of what's happening around you.  I bless you with the supernatural ability to bless the Father's heart today and the determination to make a difference for Him.  May you hear His heart beat today and may you be a blessing wherever you go today, in Jesus' name I ask. Amen!"

Roses For Us

Last week I had a brief vision during the worship time at church.  Holy Spirit asked me what I saw and I immediately saw Jesus and he had some long stemmed roses in his arms.  I just looked at him for a bit and then he gave me one.

The smell of the rose enveloped me and I felt such love and hope at the same time.  It suddenly dawned on me that he "is" the Rose of Sharron" and I felt that he was giving of himself to me.

What a moment!  The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is giving himself to us as we worship him.  He had such joy on his face when he gave me the rose.   He wants this for us.  He really wants to give us himself.

The Bible says, "And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect  the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (2Cor. 3:18)

As we behold him we become like him.   As we praise and worship and then stand in his presence he will show us stuff-- answers to questions, visions to fill us with hope, whatever we need.

It's amazing.  I want to be like him so much.  I can't save anybody, but Holy Spirit in me can.  I can't help anyone but Holy Spirit can help the whole world.

That's when I will be satisfied.  When I see Him in me.... just like the psalmist said, "And I--in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness." (Psalm 17:15)

If you have a longing to be like him then pray with me; "Lord we want to be like you. We want to be your living sacrifices today.  We invite you to speak through us, to praise and worship through us, to love others through us and to make our lives a blessing everywhere we go.  In Jesus' name we ask, Amen!"

Have a great day with Him!

Keeper of the Flame

Over a year ago we had a preacher  come to our church and talk about revival.  He had been a part of the Brownsville revival and had some great stories that he shared.  He mentioned how many ministries were birthed out of the revival and then said something that I couldn't forget.  He talked about how in all the business and people going out and spreading the revival that there needs to be a keeper of the flame.

I started wondering about what it meant to be a keeper of the flame and I felt Holy Spirit nudging me to dig a little deeper.   I had never heard of this term before so I started to ask the Lord what it meant.   What Holy Spirit kept saying is that  he needs a prayer warrior to protect and keep the flame burning.

Charles Finney had an intercessor who used to go ahead of him to prepare the town or city for a visitation of God.  Maria Woodsworth-Etter had prayer warriors who linked up with her to help bring the revival fire to the places God called her to.  Smith Wigglesworth  had a precious daughter who supported him in prayer mightily.

Through out history we see intercessors-- those who stand in the gap between God and man, joining up with revivalists to bring God's purposes to pass in the earth.

I felt Holy Spirit asking us if we would sign up to be  "Keepers of the Flame", for a season.  I believe there are many that are feeling the call to intercede for the Great Awakening that God wants to bring to North America.

It has not been hard either.  If you can worship the King and pray kingdom prayers you are doing it already.  So let's keep praying the Lord's prayer over our land and our nation.  Let's worship the King in spirit and in truth and watch to see what He wants to say to us. ( Matt. 6:9-15, 2Chron. 7:14-16,  John 4:23) There is great grace upon those who sign up to be used in God's army.

Like I read somewhere,  "The History books will be kind to us because we intend to write them."  Let's keep that quote in mind as we go about our business with a song and a prayer on our hearts.

I keep hearing that, the king is enthralled with our beauty. (Psalm 45:11)  Ha!  That's worth something... to think that the King of Kings desires our beauty.  Amazing and very humbling at the same time.  Let's be like Esther and go through all the beauty preparations that are available! (ref. Esther 2:12)

I bless you as you go today.  May you bless the Father's heart with your songs and prayers today.   May you hear his, "Well done!" as you seize the moments to advance the kingdom of God. Amen!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

Garden Wall Vision

My Garden (not finished)
"What do you see?"

I love it when Holy Spirit asks me that like he did Jeremiah (ref. Jer. 1:11)  That is a ticket to exercise my faith and see what's going on in the spirit realm.  Jesus made a way for us as born again Christians to enter the heavenlies. In fact the Bible says that we are seated there already (Eph. 2:6). Every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus has been given to us already so since Jesus could see things in the spirit so can we. (ref. Eph. 1:3,  Acts. 10:34)

It's as simple as believing God's word and practicing God's presence.  We do Psalm 100 where we enter God's gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  We go by the alter of sacrifice and ask forgiveness of our sins, then we move on to the bronze laver where we find the washing of the word.  We do this until we feel the  praise songs shift to worship songs. Then when we feel the atmosphere around us change we ask Holy Spirit what to do next.  Holy Spirit will lead you to what to say, decree or see.  He is our guide for all supernatural encounters.

This is why time alone with God is a precious commodity in our busy world.   All the revelatory gifts like prophesy, words of knowledge and words of wisdom flow from the intimacy of knowing His voice really well... and that takes time.  All relationships take time.

Anyhow,  the last week I have seen this scene a number of times so I will share it to bless you.  I saw the most beautiful scene.  There was a low stone wall about 2.5 feet tall with big stones arched away from me.   There were masses of flowers all around, magenta, fuchsia, blue, pink and the occasional lemon yellow flower.  The foliage was various greens with no dead leaves in them, just more and more types of leaves.  The colors were so brilliant that they felt like they had a metallic sheen to them.

On the top of the wall I could see where the stone was bare in two places, big enough for two people to sit down and take in the beautiful landscape around.  The flowers behind would crowd me and bless me with their sweet perfume.  The peace in this place was amazing.

The light on the scene was like nothing I've seen before.  Everything was bathed with this golden light and it seemed to come from every living thing so I was hard pressed to see the shadows of the wall on the stone walkway for example.

What caught my eye next was a travel mug like the one I use down here for my tea.  It was on the wall between the two seats and it had water vapor spiraling up from it so I knew there was something hot in it.  Beside it was a huge ruby colored gem, almost as big as the bottom of my travel mug.  I thought what are these things doing there?

Then I noticed a pile of gems on the ground between the two seats.  They didn't fit in with this scene, yet I knew they were important.  There were pearls, and many ruby-colored stones as well as various other stones that I didn't recognize.  All of the gems were polished and faceted and looked like they were ready to be put into pieces of jewelry.

I asked the Lord what was up with this picture and He told me that this scene is one I have visited many times... when I stand in His presence.  He always has refreshment ready for me and I can see where the rocks have flat tops so we can easily sit down and talk.  The gems represent the nuggets of wisdom and glory that He has for me.  Many times I forget to take the nugget back down with me to earth and that's why there is a pile of them on the ground.

I asked the Lord what to do the next time I visit because I was sad to see so many gems on the ground. He told me to release the glory I receive while visiting Heaven on the earth and to say out loud, "I believe I receive the gem of wisdom, provision, revelation," -- whatever Holy Spirit says it is.

Then he told me to raise my right hand grab the gem out of heaven and loose it on the earth with a downward motion.   I'm not saying that you have to do the same.  Let Holy Spirit guide you  in all you do.

If this seems silly to you,  I completely understand. I have been a Christian for almost 30 years and it took me almost 20 to get past my logical thinking, engineer's mind.  Yet the bible says that the things that are seen are temporal, and the things unseen are eternal.(2Cor. 4:18)  Chew on that fact for a while.  The supernatural or spirit realm is more real than the physical one around us. I had to keep humbling myself under God's mighty hand and agreeing with the word of God, regardless of what my mind or circumstances said.

We practice this principal when we speak the solution and don't talk the problem.   We call forth the things that be not, provision, revelation, etc.,  as though they are. (ref. Rom. 4:17)

Anyhow, I bless you with a hunger for the word of God.  May you search out the scriptures to verify what I am saying.  Throughout the scriptures you will see that many people had dreams and visions and that God guided his people with them.

I bless you with sanctified dreams and visions today/tonight.  I plead the blood of Jesus over you and declare that any hindrance to you having dreams or visions is broken off.  I declare that your imagination is cleansed by the blood of the lamb and that it is Holy Spirit's drawing board.  I ask that Holy Spirit would guide you in what to watch and listen to, so that your conscience does not get seared again. May you fulfill all of God's plans for your life, in Jesus' name I ask. Amen!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale

Be the Change You Want to See

I didn't know what to call this post and it came to me.   Be the Change you want to see.   In North America we have the habit of letting the pastor and a few people carry most of the responsibility  of the Kingdom advancing.   This should not be so.  We all have gifts that we can contribute to the body for the greater good.

On that note I have asked the Lord to let me be a fool for Him if it means that He can use me more.   We are in an upside down Kingdom where the way down is the way up.  "He who wants to be great must be the servant of all". (ref. Mark 9:35)   God chose and still chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and the weak things to shame the strong. (ref. 1Cor. 1:27) That means that we all qualify to be used in God's kingdom.

How that looks can be completely different than anything you have done previously. All I can say is, be open to new ideas and new ways of doing things.  Let me share a neat example with you.

A few weeks ago we were having a Friday night service and a few of the regular intercessors were missing.  The music had started and as I walked in late I said to a friend, "I guess I'm going to make a fool of myself."  I was surprised at what I blurted out and was thinking about it as I made my way to the front.  (Our church opens up the alter area for passionate worshipers so they can intercede and worship and break through for the whole congregation. I wish all churches did this!)

The music was great, but we weren't going anywhere in the spirit so I asked Holy Spirit what to do.  He said, "Dance."

"Right." I thought and I didn't, because I didn't have the foggiest idea of how to start. I was holding a flag and waving it around a bit, but that's a far cry from dancing.

Well, the next song started and we still weren't going anywhere.  The Heavens felt like brass so I asked Holy Spirit what was up and He said again, "Dance!"

I thought to myself, "Okay but You have to show me how."  I took one step to my right and all of a sudden I was waltzing around the front.  The people moved out of the way and I was holding/waving my flag and singing a beautiful harmony in tongues. But the most important thing was that I felt a 'boom' in the Spirit as the Heavens opened up.  Breakthrough!  That's what I was longing for.  Then the tears were streaming down my face and I was whirling around, dancing with my Lover and I couldn't care less what the people were thinking.  It was just me and Jesus and Holy Spirit was teaching me how to move and flow in the Spirit. I felt like I was dancing on air.

The rest of the service was good, but nothing can compare to the joy that Holy Spirit gives when He's happy with you.  When He says, "Thank you!"  every fiber of your being knows it!

So let me encourage you to be a fool for the Lord.  Be the change you want to see.  It shouldn't be just at conferences,  that you see spiritually hungry Christians.  I have asked the Lord to keep me hungry!

It always pays to obey Holy Spirit's promptings, even when they don't make sense to your natural mind.  As we honor Holy Spirit by obeying Him, He helps us to bless the Father's heart.  Since we can never out give Father God, He responds by pouring out more healing, more glory, more deliverance in waves and the whole crowd gets touched around us too.

That's Heaven on Earth folks.  That's what I have experienced when I've been in the Spirit.  There is so much love in Heaven and all the people use what they've got to help and bless others.  There is no fear of loss there because Father gives us more and more of whatever we have been giving out.

I want Heaven here too.  I really think that if some of us keep pressing in, we are going to open up an even bigger oasis of Heaven on Earth and the glory waves will flow out and touch our nation and the nations of the world.

Let Your Kingdom come more Lord Jesus and May Your will, not ours get done today in our lives, in Jesus' name we ask. Amen!

I Bless you as you go!
Big hugs,
Brenda Gale Thompson

Last Weekend

I was helping a friend pack and move last weekend.  You know how it goes if it's happened to you.  You let everybody know  you are moving and you hear a litany of excuses, "My back is sore, I'm busy that day or I can't lift anything," to name a few.

Well after driving for 6 hours and then unloading a 29 ft Uhaul truck with three of people I was a bit sore.  The next day I should have been fine but I noticed that I was worse.  Wrong, my warning bells went off.  I started pleading the blood of Jesus over myself and speaking the word, "My youth is renewed like the eagle, He arms me with strength and power and makes my way perfect,  as my days are so shall my strength be."  The pain would abate for a bit then come back with a vengeance.

I knew I was getting some words of knowledge because I don't have achy joints, as a rule,  but the lady I was helping does on occasion.  So I started praying for her.  Then my knees started paining and I was thinking this is weird. I couldn't figure out who had the sore knee.

Well yesterday I finally determined to worship with the piano, despite all the distractions and see what the Lord had to say to me.  As I started worshiping I got clarity on some issues friends are facing and the Lord showed me how to pray for them.

Then life intruded and I had to help my son.  As I walked away,  I couldn't help but notice that my legs and joints were better.

Isn't that amazing?  I didn't even ask about my health, I was more concerned about a friend that got a bad report and some other friends that are facing tough issues in life.   Just goes to show you that we can never out give God.

I guess the moral of the story is, when you don't know what else to do, go praise and worship the Lord and ask Him.  He's promised that if we ask He will give us wisdom. (James 1:5)

Let me bless you now. "May you know His love that passes understanding today. May you know his support more than ever today.  May His revelatory light dawn on every tough situation you face today.  May the joy of His presence go with you today and may you know His peace that passes all understanding today.
I bless you today, in Jesus' Name!

Big hugs,
Brenda Gale.

Psalm 149

Hi there.  This song came because a minister looked at me when he was autographing a book I purchased from him and wrote "Psalm 149" and his name. I saw that he wrote Psalm 15 in my girlfriend's book so I was intrigued by this type of prophetic word.  I came home and looked up the Psalm and got this song.
May it bless you!

‎"Let the HIGH praises of God be in our mouths and a two edged sword in our hands...
We bind every wicked king(in the spirit realm) in chains and nobles with fetters of irons.
We execute upon them the vengeance written from the Lord.
This honor have all his Saints."

Amen. Devils watch out! The Saints are waking up to their rights.  Hallelujah! Have fun!  We are on the winning side!

Bless you!
Big hugs,

P.S. Katie Souza  teaches about binding up wicked kings if you want to learn more. It's really good teaching.

Victory Over Frustration

Hi there.  I had three phone calls the last two weeks by friends that were totally frustrated with their lives and circumstances so after the third phone call  I asked the Lord what was going on.  He told me that the enemy is trying to wear out the Saints so that they will give up or become bitter.

For  those of you who have not read my first response to frustration please use the link and read it as this article will be brief and to the point and I am not going over the same material again.
//greatcommissionhow2s.blogspot.com/2010/09/frustration.html

A) Ask the Lord for a promise for your situation then meditate on it and speak it out over your situation. His word will not return empty. (Is. 55:11) Make sure to watch your words.  Don't cancel out your faith with unbelief. A double minded person does not receive anything! (James 1:5-8)

B) Realize that the battle you are facing is not just about you.  It's about all the people you will influence.   Once you get a victory in an area of your life, you have authority to give your victory to others.  Duet 29:29 says that, "the revealed things belong to you and your children.

C) Check to make sure you don't have a stronghold, a belief pattern that stops you from taking God at His word. (Prov. 3:5-6)  Acknowledge Him in ALL your ways. Spend time daily focusing on Jesus and ask him to heal the wounds of your heart, so that you can have your promise.  Let the sun of righteousness arise with Healing in His wings.  In His light we see light.... and we all know that light has healing properties.  God's light has even more healing in it. (Mal. 4:2, 1John 1:7) God delights in the prosperity of His servants and He has commanded blessing to pursue us and overtake us. Also, He wants us to prosper and be in health as our souls prosper. (Ps. 35:27, Deut. 28:2, 3John 2)

D) Keep up the praise and thanksgiving.  He inhabits the praises of His people.  Every day worship till His glory is all around you or Holy Spirit tells you that He is there and ask Him what to say or do that will bring the answer.  Holy Spirit is the spirit of revelation and you can expect Him to reveal things as you seek Him.

E) Day dream with God. (1Cor. 2:16)  Envision the solution. Plead the blood of Jesus over you before you worship and then as you wait in His presence ask the Lord what He wants to show you.  Use your faith to believe that He wants to show you things and then ask clarifying questions to sharpen your mental pictures.  (Eph. 1:3, 2:6, 1:17)

F) Remember that the vision or the dream is just the beginning.  Once you have a dream or vision then take it to the Lord when you are in His presence and speak it out.  Call in what you are seeing or what you dreamed every day (in His presence) till it manifests.

You know God waited for Holy Spirit before He spoke. If God waited till Holy Spirit was hovering/moving  upon the waters before He spoke... how much more should we? (Gen. 1:2-3)

Therefore, to sum it all up, practice Psalm 100:4, "enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise..." and then speak what the Lord leads.... decreeing the things Holy Spirit has laid on your heart so that they will be established. (Job 22:28 )  Make sure you ask for  joy and strength too! "In his presence there is fullness of joy..." and  "the joy of the Lord is our strength." ( Ps. 16:11, Neh. 8:10)

Remember you are more than a conqueror.  You are called to rule and reign on the earth for the Lord.  ( Rom. 8:37, Rom. 5:17, 19, Heb. 10:13, Heb. 1:13) For example, when the devil tries to attack me with sickness I rebuke it. If the symptoms try to linger I stand with a good confession and I pray for my family. If they still linger then I go on a major assault praying for every single person I know and all those I don't know in town.  Be an expensive target!  Make the devil pay for every second he tries to oppress you.

Be encouraged, He is working while you wait on Him.  I know your life is busy and it's hard to make time to seek Him but it is so-o-o-o- worthwhile.  "Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him" (Is. 64:4)  That is why you keep Him first. The Lord told me once that if I would spend my anointing on Him, one hour a day, that He would work on my situation for me.  I obeyed and found out it works!

Let's pray: Thank You Lord for giving us joy in our journey with You.  Thank You Lord  for protecting our praise and worship times with You.  I declare that no evil comes near our dwelling.  Thank You Lord that You are sanctifying us completely and that we are more than conquerors through You. We command all these trials to turn into blessings for us.  Show us Lord what to decree in Your glory regarding all our situations.  We give you all the thanks and praise and  glory for our victories now. Amen! (Is 61:3, 1Thess. 5:23,  Rom. 8:30-38)

Glass Slipper

A few months ago I was worshiping the Lord and I heard Holy Spirit ask me, "What do you see?"

I saw a picture of me and I had something in my pocket. When I reached in, to grab what was in my pocket, I didn't recognize it at first. As I looked at it I realized that I was carrying a glass slipper in my pocket.

Huh? Then I realized that we are like Cinderella and our king is searching for us. Wonder of wonders... He knows how many times we have longed for Him to come.
He sees every tear we have shed.

He is looking in every house.

He is looking for a heart of worship.

Looking for the one who trembles at His word.

He is Looking for His bride.

And that's us! Washed by His blood, transformed by the renewing of our minds, found faithful because we walk by faith and not by sight.

Truly,,, He has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise.(1Cor. 1:27)

I stand amazed at the Lord's goodness. I believe there are a bunch of diligent worshipers that are about to get a divine visitation from the Lord. I can hardly wait to see what the Lord is going to do. The earth will never be the same!

"Father, glorify your name!" (John. 12:28)

Bless you!

Make Each Day Count!

Life is short so I'm making the most of each day. Every new day I want to make sure I make time for the Lord, to praise and worship HIM and to hear His thoughts for my day.
It's amazing how much better my day goes when I do this. You would think that I would have learned this by now and have no problem putting God first.

However, there are a lot of sneaky distractions in life. Kids, walking the dogs, work, husband, commitments in church, errands, housework; need I say more?
In themselves they are not "bad" but when they get between me and the worship that Jesus deserves then they become idols. I keep saying to the Lord that I love Him more than anything... then by my choices I say that He's last on my priority list.

All I can do is repent and get real with Him. Sometimes I'm aware of the distractions and sometimes I'm not. The devil does not want us to worship God because he knows that we will get refreshed and come out of His presence empowered. Thus he tries everything in his arsenal to keep us from seeking the Lord and basking in His presence.

It's a learning process. We all have to journey through the land of distractions and learn to ignore them and just keep seeking the Lord.

Yesterday, I asked the Lord to protect my time with Him. It really helped. I had a great time with Him (Holy Spirit) and got some great downloads to think about.

Today, I finally got to a place where I could sit down after supper and the Heaven's felt like brass. Aha! I've been there before. So I put on a couple of worship songs on youtube (Chris Tomlin and Hill Songs) and agreed with the songs they were singing. Then I started singing my own new song while the songs were singing.

Breakthrough! It worked again! Heaven's open and His presence is all over me etc, etc.
Thank You Jesus for Breakthrough! Now I'm decreeing things He's told me before, calling in the promises He's given me and asking Him who needs prayer (shoring up, protection) and where is the enemy active.

Now that's living! And some people think being a Christian is boring. They don't have a clue!

Got to go... Holy Spirit wants another song and it's another opportunity to make this day count for eternity.

Things I Don't Take For Granted Anymore

There are so many things I've had to quit doing or adapt to new methods. I never realized how hard it could be to learn how to be a lefty after being right handed for so long.

1. Doing up a bra is next to impossible for me. I wonder how amputees manage?
2. Writing is a tough one. My writing is now worse than my 11 year old daughters. Just this week I've been able to start using my right hand to help me type a bit.

3. Cutting up vegetables is very difficult. The first couple of weeks I couldn't use my right hand to help at all. On a good note, I am eating a lot slower these days.

4. Pulling up your pants is difficult on hot summer days when everything wants to stick and roll. You get the drift. I gave up on jeans and belts. Can't do them up. Ha, Ha!

5. Having a shower in our tiny shower stall was interesting because I wasn't supposed to get the cast wet. Hubby helped, Thank God and we had a few good laughs.

6. I was so upset at not being able to train my horses. Summer is so short and here I am, can't go riding or hubby will shoot me. So I tried doing some lounge line work 2 days ago with my three year old and it worked. My hand was a bit sore after but it healed up fast.

On a very good note, I have had lots of time to read and worship, without the piano of course. I know the Lord understands. He's always after the cry of our hearts. So I have been singing about frustration, pain, adapting and determination. Sometimes our dreams get delayed but if we won't give up God will continue to help us work towards our dreams.

On that note I'm going to keep dreaming and talking to the Lord Jesus about His dream for our lives.

Teaching Sunday School Today, etc.

I had fourteen precious children today in my Grade 4 and 5 class. They didn’t do their homework and didn’t have their agendas so I improvised.

I felt to teach them about how to have miracles in their lives. Miracles are a fruit of intimacy with the Lord Jesus. So we looked up Psalm 100:4 where it says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving in your hearts, enter His courts with praise. We will say, this is the day that the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad.” (my paraphrase) To apply this scripture, we praise the Lord till Holy Spirit leads us to worship, then we worship till His manifest presence shows up and then we stand and receive all He has for us. 2Cor.2:16-18 says we are transformed from glory to glory as we behold Him or stand in His presence. Hallelujah!

We, His sheep hear His voice (John 10:27) and the voice of a stranger we will not listen to (John 10:6) So we cry out to the Lord, “Talk to me Lord! You promised that we would hear Your voice and we are hungry for You. Thank You Lord for speaking to us now.” Then we pause and listen. Then we check with Holy Spirit, “Is this what You are saying, Holy Spirit?” and we ask clarifying questions.

The kids were listening and I was so blessed.

I then taught them the number one reason why people don’t receive in church. Are you curious? Jesus nailed it when He said, “that a prophet is with honor except in His home town.” (Mark 6:1-8) Familiarity is the number one reason people don’t receive. We look at people through our physical eyes, with all their imperfections and don’t honor Holy Spirit, who is working through them. We can’t receive from people we don’t honor. Holy Spirit doesn’t work that way. I believe that’s why the Apostle Paul said that, “from here on in we judge no man after the flesh.” (Rom 14:13)

Then we did a word search on Proverbs chapter five (their homework text) and those who wanted to, read verses from the chapter out loud.

We then blessed ourselves using my book, “Bless Your Children Every Day,” by Ruth Swope. Many of the children had never heard of this so I explained Matt 12:35-37 where we have the choice to speak words of life or death and how they affect us. I could see revelation in some of the children’s eyes.

Our classroom was so crowded that we took a break and played dodge ball in the gym. I put one of the young men in charge and when the kids started fighting about the rules we decided to go back to the classroom. He was upset about how it went and I told him that’s how teachers feel some days. They have all these great plans but they can’t do them because one or two won’t follow the rules. That "hit" him because normally he’s the one causing the disruption. (Go God!)

So we had about 5 minutes left till the end of the service, so I asked the kids if they knew how to bless people. They didn’t so I gave them a couple of pointers. First make sure your heart is “love, wanting the very best” for the person. Then throw away all your preconceived ideas about the person and ask Holy Spirit for what HE wants to share with them, to encourage them. Then I demonstrated how to do it. I was able to break curses over one young man by doing it generally, for the whole class. Then I spoke blessing over all the children. I got told to tell one child that he was a mighty man of God and that he should look in the bathroom mirror every day and say,”Thank You Jesus that I am a mighty man. “ Another young girl had a teaching gift with the anointing of compassion that I called out for her to recognize and receive. In all about five children were specifically blessed. Hallelujah!

It was an awesome time. The service was extended and the parents were receiving in the sanctuary. The children were getting restless so I let them make paper airplanes and I told them that they wanted their parents to receive from God, because the more they received, the more they would become better parents. (more light bulbs going off in their heads. I love it.)

The young boy that I broke the curses off did such a one eighty, in behavior and attitude that it made me cry at God's goodness. He immediately took an interest in the lesson and stood close to me the rest of the service so that I could bless him again and again. Thank You Lord for keeping him free! To God be all the Glory!

It was a great morning. I met someone after the service that had a sore throat so Tricia (my daughter) and I prayed for him and rebuked that cold and loosed healing. We claimed, “Supernatural lubrication on his throat and vocal chords so he can preach and teach 24/7.” Amen.

Then at the grocery store I met a lady from work that had a pinched nerve in her neck. I asked her if I could pray for her and she said okay. So I told her that by the stripes of Jesus she was healed and I asked her to agree with me for the Lord to heal her. (Isa 53:3-5) Hallelujah, I know God’s working in her life. I told her to say “Thank You,” and that I would pray and God would heal her.”

Holy Spirit was happy so I wasn't worried about my preaching. We get better with practice.

Yay God! Now that’s living. He always answers the prayer, "Here I am Lord. Please use me today." And it’s only 3:30 p.m. There is lots of time to do stuff with the family and find time to go worship and praise Him. I love being His favorite mug! (2Tim 2:20-21)

Bless You, in Jesus' Name!
